Definitely will check out this series my local library has some of the seasons plus I seen Douglas in another show called who is erin Carter he was brilliant I do have some recommendations great mystery series but there not set in Scotland still worth a watch 1. My life is murder starring lucy lawless you might remember her from xena or Spartacus blood and sand the show is now in its fourth season 2. Madame blanc I really enjoyed the first season I haven't watched season 2 yet 3. Harry wild starring jane Seymour it reminds me of murder she wrote the show has three seasons so far 4. Agatha raisin me and my mother love this show the series has 4 seasons plans are set for season 5 already
My family is from Scotland and love this show. We often tell people to avoid the Shetlands, due to such a high volume of homicidal manics running loose on a per capita basis.🤣
