Such a classy show. No gratuitous violence or trashiness. Wonderful writing. As my husband says just watching this show makes you smarter. Bring on season 2 please.
Wonderful acting it is obvious the talent and expertise of the actors has brought this brilliant drama to a new level. Lead by a young inspector Morse who is carrying on John thaws inspector Morse and shaping him in his own brilliant way. Shaun Evans has proved himself as a brilliant actor and director able to bring the best out from his fellow actors and earn their respect. Shaun deserves all the accolades that are waiting for him. I wish him good luck and happiness for the future.
Endeavour....what a great word! It is the password for our whole life. It opens the doors to all the possibilities, that will make our life worth living.
I LOOOOVE the Endeavour series, and indeed the first episode with all the hints to the later Morse series is absolutely delicious... The Jag, the hints in the music, John Thaw's daughter and that odd "time passage" to quote Al Stewart... Delicious. What would have been funny, is to have made links to other later series, for example, Morse meeting during a special training the later Frost or something like that. I admit, sometimes the scenarios of Endeavour are just a bit too far fetched, but that is more than enough counterbalanced by all the historical heritage, the 1960's interiors, clothes, the Commer vans and Ford Anglia's etc.
Yeah, you know...I Sure WISH the public telly station that airs it where I am would Please Repeat the episodes the same night, or shortly thereafter....! Miss my Inspector Endeavour Morse greatly if I miss original broadcast! siiigghhhh.....
The bit with John Thaw's daughter actually annoyed me in the pilot ep...only cause it's so out of context that it kind of makes it a bit farcical. But I actually LOVED that bit at the end when John Thaw's face popped up!!
Every so often, Endeavour shows that he isn't the older Morse, like pronouncing the word 'address', as 'aad dress' (9.30mins), being into crosswords, language etc, Morse wouldn't have made that mistake in pronunciation, it just wasn't in his character. See Morse , for example, 'The Dead of Jericho, 1h 36mins in he says 'addressed' and not 'aad dressed'
Great shows.
Morse, Lewis, Endeavour. Superbs.
I love this show. The cast is wonderful and they nailed it.

There are some shows that remain as the background music of your life
Great show. love seeing how morse became the man he is in original series.
I love this show and am so glad it continued. I honestly lost it when I heard the "Morse" end credits music begin. So perfectly fitting.

Cómo puedo verla subtitulada en español?????
Thos English crime series... aren't they actually one long beer commercial? 😁😁
Quizás si pusieseis subtítulos en español tendríais más suscriptores.
Superior writing, acting and directing- Would I expect anything less from the British?
Buona fortuna
