He is the product of his mother’s upbringing. He hardly stood a chance to become a human being. And his little brother - growing up in the snake nest with two vipers? And I doubt it very much that the men in that female viper never noticed her deviancy. How would one leave a child, any child, in her care. She, essentially, made a monster out of one and killed the other, the smaller and defenseless one. How creatures like her come to be on Earth?

Both of them concluded that he had normal intellectual ability and no signs of any neurodivergence. In fact, they both concluded that he no empathy for others, and showed many hallmark signs of psychopathy. 🤨 The judge talks about these findings at his sentencing hearing.
I know that we want to make an excuse for Paul because it’s hard to understand how he could’ve helped Shanda do this, but before his stepsister even knew how Timothy had died, she told the police “I don’t know if Paul had anything to do with this or not, but he is the biggest bully I have ever known.” Absorb that. When he was a child and they children were removed by CPS because one of the brothers SA’d one of the sisters, the reports then also stated that Paul would bully his younger siblings if they didn’t “obey” him and that he showed a special aggression toward Timothy, trying to lock him in a closet. 🤨 This was years before Shanda came back into his life.

Exactly, people are afraid to use the word psychopath when it fits. He also tortured animals as a younger kid. Classic behaviour of a psychopath. They have no empathy no remorse nothing. They love inflicting pain on animals and humans. Just like Paul and Shonda. He’s a psychopath 100%. No doubt at all here. Fits all of the criteria.

Im Autistic and caused many problems in school to the point of having to attend 8 schools in the 12 years of primary education with the few months of military school, before I got kicked out, being something I actually started enjoying with much better grades. Now at 54 I'm here feeling lucky AF to have the parents who adopted me still supporting me even after a 20 year self medicating experiment that usually led to the concrete motel. Prison was another place I flourished and used it to earn college credits, useless really, save money and most importantly never need to stick a needle in my arm to feel normal again. Thanks mom, thanks dad. You taught me to be a survivor without even understanding what my problems were as nobody really did. RIP mom. Unfortunately testing is very expensive and only because of my state covering a second round do I understand why chicks dig me. That was a joke.

I had 10yrs with my special sweet angel that needed 24/7 care before she passed. My 12yr old has special needs and it’s not easy but I could never be horrible to him let alone cruel 😢 She could have given him up if she didn’t care for him. Yet she wanted his money for his disabilities and his drugs to take herself. Shanda was clearly either a malignant narcissist or a sociopath. Every single thing she did was in efforts of manipulating the people around her with no regard for anyone else. I have followed this case for awhile & I have little doubt that Paul was manipulated by his evil mother into participating in her sick torture, as well as hating his father. At the back of Pauls mind was the knowledge that if he did anything to piss off Shanda, he would wind up on the receiving end of the abuse. But Shanda would treat him like a partner, building his confidence as long as Paul would do what she says & agreed with her at all times. He was somewhat safe as long as he played into Shandas sick game. Paul doesnt seem that bright or neurotypical himself, so he was an easy person to manipulate. What he did was absolutely terrible & wrong, but I have far more ire towards shanda since I see her as the circus master of the situation. Paul would not have done any of this if he wasnt exposed to Shanda's evil manipulation. Paul always seems honest, & he is genuinely remorseful, where as Shanda's remorse is all an act. She is a vile woman.

I thought he was on the spectrum when I first looked into this case but after the psychiatrist said he doesn’t meet diagnosis criteria and learning more about Shanda, I think Paul is really just a product of abuse. It can replicate autism symptoms and can also cause psychopathic/sociopathic tendencies to develop.
Timothy was the scapegoat for the both of them to take out their fury on. Paul likely learned to appease Shanda first and always and found she was happiest when he was carrying out the abuse on Timothy.
Don’t get me wrong, Paul is 100% guilty and he deserves to be in prison for a minimum 30 years imo but I think without Shanda in the picture, he never would’ve done all this shit.
Ultimately he made his choices but man I doubt it felt like he ever had many of them.
He had a job, he worked with food, he could’ve made an escape, brought Timothy food, made a plan. I don’t think he was in a mental state to believe that was possible after the lifetime of abuse under Shanda. I know it’s literally possible, but when you’re abused for that long, escape doesn’t always appear to be a reality, even when there’s an open door.
Think Elisabeth Smart talking about how she’d be out and about in public while she was missing and never went to the police because she didn’t think escape was ever possible. The mind is a crazy thing.

I think it’s worse is he’s complaining about abuse at the hands of his father that he implemented to abuse his brother, but he was even more extreme

This is insane. The way he trys to defend his mother and says his dad and stepdad are horrible people but not his mother. Just sickening. Shes obviously a master manipulator but this kid is old enough to know better.

Hes acting clueless, innocent and naive during this, even speaking slower and softer than his real voice. If you want the real Paul, listen to his jail calls...in reality he is arrogant, a bully, calculating and absolutely knows whats going on
Also, Paul is now boasting that "he is the reason his mom was convicted". His testimony is what put her away. 🙄🙄🙄 Not that they were caught red handed, there was video and all sorts of evidence was strewn around the house.

God! Poor kid! Nobody around this family suspected anything to do something? What a nasty world we live in! Unbelievable! May his soul rest in peace 😢

He's pretending...he's just as guilty as his mom. He knew what was up.

This one is strange talking about "we didn't and we wanted etc is very wierd. Hes as culpable as his mother in this crime but I do wonder why hes so thin too. Its truly sickening what they did and hope they both got life without parole. Too many monsters behind closed doors sadly

I have a hard time with this one. Did Paul do some evil things ..yes, but at the request of his mother. He also has some mental deficiency and he probably thought the same would happen to him if he didn’t do what she said. You could see when he testified that the longer he was away from her he realized the full impact of what he participated in.

That time when the detective pulls out a gaming laptop during the investigation. Those fans lol.

I kept thinking the same thing. "I wonder if the PD issued him that MSI gaming laptop or he wanted a gaming laptop himself for the speed/power or cause this detective plays games" Cause they don't have to use them for games, maybe they just want super fast reliable PCs, not a bad choice really [Even tho if I picked a work laptop for a similar job, I'd pick a ThinkPad T490. Great notebook, still got loud fans but not AS bad as that MSI that's roaring this entire video.]
