Well I haven't been to London Zoo since I was about 12 (NO!!! that was not during the great flood) and we saw a single elephant in a concrete enclosure. No trees, nothing for it to play with and no other elephants. I was so upset I cried. But I must say from your vlog things look improved a good deal which can only be a much better environment for the animals. Great vlog, very interesting and I feel better about London Zoo and that poor lonely elephant many many years ago. Thanks lads😉😉
They moved the elephants & bears out to Whipsnade Zoo where the enclosures were much bigger for them. The animals they have now definitely have much bigger enclosures more suitable for their size.
Like yourself I haven't been in years. I was around the same age, a school trip if I'm remembering correctly. I remember the elephants mainly for the chains on their legs. There was a lot of concrete and small enclosures. The reason I remember this is because of the rhino. He had a small concrete enclosure, but you could get really close if he walked along the perimeter wall. I patted him on his head and felt his horn. Probably shouldn't of done that. Glad the Zoo is looking better.
Hi, hope you are both well?, where to start, the monkeys im wanting to go into their enclosure but im not sure if i would scream if one came near me🥺😂🙈. Then it is a massive no no for me going in with the spiders and the butterflies hate them both with a passion (ok i have a massive phobia of both)🕷🦋
I was there yesterday most of the animals have bearly any space the giraffes didnt have water and its on the side of the road AND they lied about having the worlds biggest moth ive seen bigger Id rate it 3☆☆☆ stars
Josh , did you check for any stowaways, on your hat , or clothing? 🕷️🕷️ Jason , I’m thinking that where you saw the snake 🐍 in the floor, might have been where the snake escaped. The Zoo is definitely in the need of lots of love & money, to do even more improvements.
Visited last week, not a great zoo at all, animals don’t have much room to venture about and I’m pretty sure the zebras are seriously depressed also no Elephants, wolves, rhinos, leopards, bears, hippos, tapirs, kangaroos. Reptile house was half empty. If you want to see a decent zoo, visit Dublin Zoo instead.
These guys so entertaining and hilarious. I’m learning some British phrases…quite pecking?! Is that what he said about being hungry? Lol
Haha so happy you are enjoying the videos. Quite peckish is the phrase we used 😊

What a fun place. It isn’t a real zoo if it don’t have penguins!!
That’s so true 😍

Omg Josh you were so brave..there’s no way you’d ever get me in the spider bit 🕷 😧
It was awful and they was huge 😭

He was checking himself for the rest of the day 😂 I don’t think there were any snake escapes that day, my parcel tongue was too tragic 😂
Looks great I’d take me own food pack lunch and a flask of tea I’m to tight to pay them prices 😂
That’s definitely not a bad idea!
Can you buy tickets at the entrance?
You can but they are usually a little more expensive than buying in advance online
This looks like a lovely zoo.
The bit near the lions looked like the trails in animal kingdom.
Xx
Yes definite animal kingdom vibes!
Read their conditions for ticket refunds otherwise like me you might be disappointed.
I ❤ London zoo

The elephants and other big animals have been transported to whipsnade zoo as they are joined together
