    Hey congrats on how far you've got so far (I just binge watched your whole series)! I also am going through a blender production pipeline kin to this and just wanted to say kudos! Especially on the cloth sim, after trial and error I myself had to give up on it. But after seeing this you inspire me to give it another try!
    Keep up the amazing production!

      You know I saw this the other day and might give it a go at some point during production! Thanks for the great tip and keep'm coming if you have any more! 😃
      For this initial shot I also wanted to learn how the native blender tools worked so I reframed from trying simply cloth or other tools on this one :)
      See ya on the next vid!

    Hello here! Loving your serie. I will support your chanel by following! Please keep going :D I have a question tho, do this method work for lower poly models and handpainted textures? I usually model and handpaint the clothes like for Genshin Impact for example. I tend to like this method but I think the one you show in the video is interesting and worth a try but I can't afford a million vertices on a sweatpant haha. Any tips or ressources?

    • @ToroAnimation
      @ToroAnimation  3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thank you so much! Really helps me keep pushing to hear this typ'a thing 😁
      Hand painted textures, for sure!
      In terms of poly count, give it a go! Lower poly just means less wrinkles and slightly stiffer clothes, but on a lower poly model that could actually help the look !
      I would start with what resolution you feel is the minimum you want to start with, then before your cloth modifier add a subdivision modifier. Sim on subdivision 0, see how it looks and how fast it runs, and if you need, go up 1 subdivision step and see how that feels and runs.
      This guy is also great at faking cloth sim:

      G'uck! Feel free to share your test results if ya want and catchya on the next one ! 😃

    That's a really cool looking cloth sim and setup! Nice work! You can help the sim clipping by doing your sim an subdived extracted model. Subscribbed and will check out more of your stuff. Keep up the good work! 😎

      Thanks! For sure, gonna play more with that in the future :)
      Also, you could increase the self and object collision distance a touch but knew I was going to hide the legs underneath anyway.
      Looking forward to seeya on the next one!

      @@ToroAnimation I really do enjoy it
      Yo bro I have yet another doubt as per the schedule u have shown in the video the first ep would be released in 2 to 3 months if ur releasing the ep of this series weekly so do u have a plot or script for story yet and how many charecter would probably there in 1st ep or ur planning to make the script during the production where I guess u would ask for people to submit their resume for VO ,editing on other things for collecting nakama for this journey and asking for their opinion for it , I am just so curious
      And I have an idea why don't u create an discord server so people could give ideas for making the anime and like really comment and talk about this anime whenever the episode release and they could even submit thier resume directly to u if they have way to contact you like u might say they could talk about the anime in comments section but I feel that in discord it feel like a community uk what I mean like they could have convo instead of just commenting and leaving where they wouldn't even now what PPL have said to it unless they check the notification
      I am also waiting to submit my name for VO
      Sry if my English was off I am really sleepy right now it is night time over here
      And one last thing I really wish I had infinet coffee in a cup like Mr tuna

      @@keshav_06 Hey! Lot's of great questions ! Let me try my best to answer all of them hahaha
      1. Do you have a plot?
      a) Yep! I've written the first 6 episodes which I think would actually stretch to 9 in the long run :)
      2. How many Characters in the first ep?
      a) Well, I've written it so that the first ep is a bit easier to produce, and tells more of the narrative. So like 3-5 characters at most. Scariest part of ep 1 is that there is a crowds scene..🙄 But have a couple ways to do that so we will figure it all out when we get there! Will show and discuss all of this in our preproduction episode hopefully not too far away!
      3. Nakamas!
      a) Right now, Tuna's a one cat army. So for episode one he's just grinding! VO is going to be an interesting task for sure! So once ep 1 is out, let's see if people dig it enough to want to join the ship or help out with any VO! But one step at a time for now :)
      4. Are you gonna setup a discord ?
      a) That's the plan! Soon as I figure out how to do that hahaha. Right now, Tuna's just heads down trying to finish this making of series and focus on preproduction. But discord and all that in due time! When we have it up and running I hope to see ya there!
      Noted on the VO! For sure it's not an overnight process, and if things take longer then expected, that's fine as we ramp up. So in the meantime, continue to enjoy the series! Till the next time :)

    thank you for youtube recommendation. this series give new perspective to me, especially clothing. I have question, after sewing the cloth. Do i need to merge the vertex together or i can just leave it?

    • @ToroAnimation
      @ToroAnimation  27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That's amazing to hear! Really made my day :)
      Would love to know which part gave you a new perspective specifically if you can share! Like methodology or a specific step? :)
      After sewing you can just leave it as is. Because we're using the solidify modifier, it will look like a solid piece in renders etc.
      That way, you can save the panel setup as an asset, re-animate and re-sim your character any time you need it! Let me know if you have any more questions or need more details.
      When we get into show production, I'll be creating a few of these for shot work so you can see that then as well!

      @@ToroAnimation the one that blow my mind is the mesh cache and mask modifier. Usually i just duplicate the backup mesh then start delete intersected face. The second thing i like is the way you sewing the pant, layer by layer.
      Your methodology is more non-destructive workflow compare mine.

    I got question, how do u animate the cloth on 2s, also great work👌

    • @ToroAnimation
      @ToroAnimation  23 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hey! Thanks for asking :)
      I basically just render on twos in the render settings. Will go over that in the render episode in a few weeks.
      You could also playback on twos which I have to experiment a bit with!
      Hope that helps and see ya on the next one!
