I'm most definitely going to my local auto part stores. I can't believe they don't carry them at every big chain, but I assume the needed refrigeration for long term storage is just looked at as too much expense/work but man this patch is amazing and so worth it.
Interesting. I've got a hole in a tractor diesel tank, my biggest problem so far is remoing the tank because of a massive amount of tractor disassembly required to get the tank free. If I get it out I may try your patch because John Deere no longer makes the replaement tank.
Could you put that camera, oh I don’t know, maybe another ten feet away. And when you say cut the patch to fit, what does that mean exactly? One inch border? Could you at least show us? Thanks.
Sorry, we are not professionals in the movie industry. Cutting the patch to fit is an option or you can bond the whole patch to the damaged area. To acheive the best patch results we recommend a minimum of a 1" overlap around the damaged/leaking area. I hope this helps.
I use ethanol in for my van. The fuel was stolen by the police impound lot after the van was recovered by them drilling a hole in the tank. Would this repair bridge the half inch hole and withstand ethanol as well as gasoline and hold up long term? It is a Ford plastic tank from 2014. Thanks
You can't with a PTFE poly-kit I don't think. You would need one that can withstand hotter temperatures which I'm pretty sure they do have. Check their website on the all products section.
On your site I can’t order economy kit it’s on the on options. I need to fix small crack 5 inches long like on your video . But it give you next option for $76 . Thank you No !

The crack is on the fitting and about 2 inches long and on a corner. How do you fix that one,?
What do you do if the patch needs to be longer? Can two pieces butt together, or that leaves a crack between the pieces? Overlap?
Awesome! I'm doing my Jeep tank right now. Thank you for responding and shipping the next day! 🇵🇷🇺🇸💪🔥💯
Thank you for your business.
how large of a hole can this patch? Someone drilled a 2 inch hole in my tank.
Im from Canada 🇨🇦 where would i get this patch?
Would this work for a long 18" crack on the rim/lip of a polyethylene stock tank?
It absolutely would work. Please give Don a call and he can get you set up with exactly what you would need. Thank you.

Sounds great 👍.
Where can i get this kit?
Just head over to our website and you can purchase it directly from there. Thank you.
Will this work on a domestic central heating oil tank ?

This product would work. Please contact Don and he can get you set up with what you would need. Thank you.
How much pressure can these patches hold? How much heat? Could they be used on plastic radiator tank caps?
PTFE Patches are good up to 120 psi and about 250 degrees F, so they are good on radiators.
Will those patches work on a pressurized surge tank on a car/truck?
I tried regular epoxy already and it didn’t work
We can get you set up with the right Patch Kit that would work for your situation. Please call Don and he can tell you what you would need. Thank you.
I can't hear him.
He’s got the camera and microphone like ten feet away so you can see him but you can’t see what he’s doing. Horrible video.
Round the edges.
Ok
But how do we buy it to try out????
You can visit our website @ tbbonding.com and order directly from us. Thank you.
For those prices why wouldn't I just go buy a new tank?
the cost of the patch and prep kit and infra red device would make this approach likely not cost effective compared to buying a new tank.
You can use just a regular blow dryer like you would dry your hair with. There is no need for an "infra red' device.
So where can I get it now thanks
I called the number for Tech Bond I found on google, spoke to a fella right away and got great help. Product actually just got to my mail box today.
There is a link in their "about" -------------------> tbbonding.com/onlinestore/
You can order the patches at tbbonding.com. You will need a PTFE Tech-Patch for gas tank repair.
