MT held FD’s cellular at 4 Jefferson while FD went to New Canaan to murder Jennifer. MT cannily placed his phone in the home office that morning, ignoring many incoming texts and calls from customers - Except for answering ONE call from FD’s friend from Greece. This was a pre-planned call requested by FD for his friend to call and text on his cellphone (instead of calling via WhatsApp). This was the first and only time ever that the friend had contacted FD directly through the cellular. This was an “alibi call”, one which could be documented, as WhatsApp does not keep records to track calls etc. MT picked up the call and the text! This is compelling circumstantial evidence that MT collaborated in the planning/engineering of Jennifer’s murder. Hence the verdict of Conspiracy to Murder.
Her family’s behaviour at the press conference afterwards was terrible. They are in pain and instead of trying the case again on their terms on the court house steps and all of them speaking getting more and more hysterical, they should have had 1 person represent the family. One of the sisters spoke out addressing Jennifer’s children telling them that when they get up she needed to seek proper justice - outrageous.

I thought Lauren set the standard early on in the trial. She got the “Fotis had recently purchased a gun,” to the ears of the jurors. I think it was removed from the record, but she came to testify and tell the truth!

MT held FD’s cellular at 4 Jefferson while FD went to New Canaan to murder Jennifer. MT cannily placed his phone in the home office that morning, ignoring many incoming texts and calls from customers - Except for answering ONE call from FD’s friend from Greece. This was a pre-planned call requested by FD for his friend to call and text on his cellphone (instead of calling via WhatsApp). This was the first and only time ever that the friend had contacted FD directly through the cellular. This was an “alibi call”, one which could be documented, as WhatsApp does not keep records to track calls etc. MT picked up the call and the text! This is compelling circumstantial evidence that MT collaborated in the planning/engineering of Jennifer’s murder. Hence the verdict of Conspiracy to Murder.
