This loving, giving, caring young woman and Jennifer's extraordinary Mom have brought Jennifer's children through a unspeakable nightmare. They both deserve respect and honor.
This young woman is so well rounded, mature & articulate. Her poise amid this tragedy is outstanding. She’s already proved that she will make an exceptional mother having had so much experience with so many children. Bless her huge heart 🙏🏽💔💜
She's so young only 32 taking care of all 5 children living with her says alot about her as a person and how devoted she is to those kids! Thank God they have her! Such a tragedy for these poor kids to lose both parents at such a young age!
Speaks volumes that she stayed with the kids all these years. She probably knew she was the closest thing to a mother they had left and they needed the stability. Unimaginably scary to know you were inside the house right after this all went down.
Thank goodness she had the presence of mind to contact friends of Jennifer's promptly. Had she delayed, I suspect Fotis and his paramour may have been able to cover up this crime and might have never been caught
Lauren! You did well and are doing so well under these traumatic circumstances. I am happy Jennifer, Gloria and the kids have you. Truly an angel on earth.
That man didn’t care about or want those kids, most men don’t, having children is usually a woman’s fantasy… Fotis could careless about his children nor did he want to pay child support
I believe Lauren had a huge impact on the events following Jennifer's murder. Lauren reacted IMMEDIATELY when Jennifer failed to show up at the orthodontist or respond to texts & phonecall. Instead of taking the kids home & waiting for something to happen, Lauren immediately leaped into action. She quickly alerted Jennifer's friends & family, ensured the kids were safe, & importantly for the investigation, SHE GOT COPS INVOLVED RIGHT AWAY. I bet Dulos was caught off guard by this. He probably thought he'd have more time after the murder to get rid of evidence, cover his tracks, & prepare himself to deal with cops. He likely assumed he'd be the one contacting Lauren to keep **her** informed, but it was actually the other way around! Because of Lauren's quick thinking & action, investigators were on Dulos immediately. Lauren wasn't just an employee who forgot the family as soon as her workday was done. You can tell by the immediate steps she took that she cared deeply about Jennifer, & vice versa.
Jennifer Mom is 88Yrs old,who will take care of the children after her passing,I know the Nanny is an Angel that God sent to take care of them for now...they probably Love her like a Mom ,she has always been there for them...
The nanny was around the crazy husband and she saw up close how dangerous he was. And she KNEW he had bought a gun! She wasn't going to bring those children ANYWHERE near him! She probably could sense he killed Jennifer and would probably KILL the children also, after all, he did kill himself. He was a family annihilator. He may also have murdered the nanny, especially if he felt she was in the way. And that was a very SMART move by Jennifer's mother to have Jennifer declared dead, because this will add weight to the prosecution's case. The mistress needs to tell the truth about what REALLY happened to Jennifer and WHERE her body is. And: I hope Jennifer's children are getting the psychological, emotional and nurturing support that they need.

Way to count her age.. She raised those kids with their mom and now their grandma. Nanny on paper, but she is the closest thing to a mother that the kids will have now. Do you think she will ever leave them? Nope.
What a difference between this wonderful woman and the defendant. She really cared for the children. The mistress thought she won the lottery, destroying a marriage with 5 little children. She wanted Jennifer out of the picture and should tell where are Jennifer remains for the sake of this poor children. They have the right to visit her grave.
The nanny is awesome . So classy and devoted to those kids and their late mother. I hope the evil mistress spends the rest of her life in jail . She is so vile and disgusting!
A solid person and witness that the jury is going to appreciate more than the Defense estimates, imho. I can only imagine (and not even) her profound worry on the actual day when this was unfolding and the nightmare it became. I don't have time to watch the entire testimony but may try to watch more of hers. I love her power of recollection and describing even, coming into the house/mudroom/kitchen and things she observed (high end purse on the floor, travel mug and uneaten granola bar). 5 :15 The paper towels' stock is significant, though circumstantial. That she remembers she put a new, club pack of 12 in the pantry the night before and it was down to just two, she reflected on it then (maybe the kids made a huge mess?), is such great detail. 10:20 when Jennifer didn't answer her phone, she didn't feel good and her stomach sank "she never not answered her phone". She thought quickly and used the family iPad and was able to access Jennifer's Google calendar. She goes to the place of one of the appointments and doesn't just call, to find out if Jennifer attended. Her level of care and the seriousness, all significant. And all of the points where she didn't (or didn't want to) respond to Fotis and ultimately didn't bring the kids to him, because she was afraid, chilling and beyond awful. I only recently started following this case. Traconis is guilty/very complicit in what happened. If she was duped into helping FDulos after the fact (illogical, but y'know, people), the minute he took himself out, she would have told everything. She has her own daughter to think of. I don't know enough about Macwhinney except that he seems shady. I surmise that what he knows or has sworn to implicates Traconis so she can't pretend she didn't know more or didn't assist FD. She knew and thought she was going to get a happy ending with what FD wanted and custody of the kids. Just like the Adels0ns and Murdaugh who are these crazy, ev1l people who do such awful things and think they can get away with it? I knew someone (no longer in contact) who lives in their "own little world" and is selfish and a s0ciopath - people like this really do live in their own world.
I am so thankful that it's nanny came along the side of Jennifer, you were the only one that stood beside her besides her family, and you should be so proud of that, I can't imagine the trauma that you feel, but I love that you love those children and you will always be there for them, I'm so grateful that she's guilty. I hope she gets 100 years. Dulos was guilty. He didn't want to go to prison, but he killed himself because he knew he was guilty.
I know very little about this case, but I find it odd that the "father" did not reach out to his children when their mother went missing, to calm them and provide support. He communicates through the nanny. Unless he spoke with him but the info was missing in this testimony.
A beautiful nanny ..a rich lòok ...looking for a children...these 5 children of jennifer..i hope and i think she takecare of them until now thznks those kids had this kind of nanny...i think she loves those kids
The nanny has such poise - and this tells me a lot about Jennifer herself. Lauren clearly loved the children, and she clearly deeply admired and respected Jennifer. Her loyalty to Jennifer and her commitment to telling the truth helped secure justice for Jennifer.
Why did FD ask Lauren for updates? Why didn’t he directly speak to police? Were there any cell phone pings of him during the day before the Hartford pings? Was his phone switched off in the morning? How about Michelle’s phone pings? If you look at Dan Markel’s case, the digital evidence is much more detailed than this.
That many kids for as long as she was there probably about 30 an hour with paid vacations- like 1 week off a year. I’m 30 minutes up from new canaan. You are paying for quality. Number of kids and to retain them. These are often long term positions. My sil had a lady like this til kids in hs, Lady now runs a school for professors at Ivy League college. Like it can lead to a real teaching position if that’s goal.
This young lady is truly a saint. Not only was she loyal to Jennifer and her 5 children as thier nanny while Jennifer was alive, she continues to be so after Jennifers death. I have so much respect and admiration for this beautiful, well educated, loyal caring woman who unlike most women her age, are out having fun, travelling, getting married and starting thier own families, she now lives and continues to care for the Dulos children. Thats a huge job. She became thier second mother. She strikes me as someone who will always make sure those kids know and remember how special Jennifer was and how much thier mother loved them and the wonderful mother she was to them. Im sure there are numerous guys out there who would love to meet and marry such an amazing person. God bless her and Gloria, Jennifer's mom. What unbelievable role models these two strong women are to these 5 beautful kids whose hearts were broken all because of two selfish narcissist people, sadly one being their very own father. Justice for Jennifer.

What the hell is up with the judge? He looks high as hell sitting there all smug saying "you may NOT consider this for any reason". What??? I am so confused.
Why couldn’t the lawyer then question to ask how she knew he purchased a gun? It’s not hearsay if she had first hand knowledge of seeing it for example
@@wc5436 A witness’s own prior oral & written statements offered into evidence to prove the truth of the matter asserted in the statement is hearsay! However, if the witness-declarant testifies & is available for cross-examination concerning the prior statement, and 1 of following situations exist, the prior statement is admissible as an exception to heresay: 1. Prior inconsistent statements under oath. If a witness testifies at trial, the witness’s prior inconsistent statements made under oath at a trial, hearing, or deposition are not hearsay. 2. Prior consistent statements to rebut a charge of fabrication. Ex. She states that the paper towel hold was "empty" and went to get another one. But, the police video shows a roll about 1/2 way full where they noted blood. Wonder if defense picked up on that and will bring it up during their cross.
The fact that the paper towel holder on the counter still has a half a roll doesn't have nearly the bearing that the 10 missing paper towel rolls do. Maybe the defense and Ms. Troconis can shed some light on how those disappeared.
I agree! just strange that she specifically says she replaced the empty roll, with a new one and the pics from the police show a roll about half way gone. Who used a half roll prior to the police coming in? @@AnitaH-r3f
I thought the same thing, also the faucet had blood on it and a little smeared on the counter-that could’ve been overlooked. Also the officer said it was on the dispenser, but it was off the dispenser in the pics that showed the kitchen.
The judge being like “Jury don’t “consider 😉” that he had a “GUN” “Ok?😏” My ass would be like “I understand the assignment sir 😉, my ears unheard that… in fact, men in black let me borrow their mind erasing machine just for that. 😏😉😉” “So no sir, I don’t remember he bought a gun right before she went missing and they had a contentious divorce and he was extremely stupid, not only for cheating on his beautiful, funny, rich, intelligent, wife and mother of his kids - but because he threw out her car rug and black bags in the middle of the street with her blood on it.”
What a traumatic experience for this young woman - such cowards the husband and his mistress were - feel for those 5 children growing up without their loving mother
Very confusing, the guy asked her a question about her opinion, she gave it to them about knowing he purchased a gun, then they struck it from the record because of what reasoning? it was her opinion, aren't her thoughts leading up to what her next step would be to find JD her reality & the truth. WOW.. and they call this justice.. This is disgusting, they clearly set this up together, MT knows where & what went down. She needs to come forward & stop being selfish at this point. So so sad to say the least. its so obvious to all the truth.
Obviously you have never sat on a criminal jury, which I have. There is no presumption that jurors already know all of the facts leading up to Ms. Troconis helping Mr. Dulos create an alibi, and dump trash bags in Hartford. Bet Ms. Troconis is wishing right now that she had turned state's witness instead of covering up for her BF Fotis. I thought I knew most of the facts about this case prior to the trial, and I 've actually learned some new information that wasn't previously released. When Mr. Mahwhinny takes the stand is will be "showtime". Hope they keep the cameras on Ms. Troconis so we see if, and how much, she is squirming.
How did Fotis know the nanny's schedule that she would not be there that morning? did'nt she say she was supposed to sleep over by Jennifer than had to change her mind?
omg video of her in car with Fotis dumping his wife's bloody clothes with Michelle DNA on one garbage bag.She was a Venezuelan immigrant looking for a rich man too.
What a crazy story. The father kills the mother, then commits suicide, the mistress conspired and found guilty, the nanny runs over murders Fotis’s mother. I mean you can’t make that stuff up!
Yet Troconis got rid of the bloody evidence with Fotis in videos .she knew he killed Jennifer.. disgusting that she went right along with this . I don't feel sorry for her Lauren is a great witness..poor lady..bless her RIP Jennifer .😢

What an amazing woman.. and after watching the whole testimony I was proud to see her throw that gun comment in there. Superb job ... and A++ nanny
What's with all the background noise?
They're starting to do voice recording for court reporters now I wish they'd go back to the typewriter thing.
It’s the Spanish interpreter for defendant, Michelle Troconis. She claims her understanding of the English language is limited 🙄
She looks so much like Katharine McPhee. Beautiful , smart and empathic.
The judge seems pretty pleased with himself.
What the hell is up with the judge? He looks high as hell sitting there all smug saying "you may NOT consider this for any reason". What??? I am so confused.
Exactly! He should have explained the reason.
@@mjblue84Because it was considered hearsay so the judge struck it from the record, meaning to not take it into consideration.
Why couldn’t the lawyer then question to ask how she knew he purchased a gun? It’s not hearsay if she had first hand knowledge of seeing it for example
She is a true guardian angel that guarded the kids from harm! I will pray for her strength!
How does this attorney not know what hearsay is?.....
Ask Alina Habba. 😂
There are hundreds of exceptions to hearsay! A statement is only hearsay if used or intended to be used to prove truth of the matter asserted.
@juliesears4585 I know all that but she was objecting as hearsay when it was what came out of her own mouth.
@@wc5436 A witness’s own prior oral & written statements offered into evidence to prove the truth of the matter asserted in the statement is hearsay! However, if the witness-declarant testifies & is available for cross-examination concerning the prior statement, and 1 of following situations exist, the prior statement is admissible as an exception to heresay:
1. Prior inconsistent statements under oath. If a witness testifies at trial, the witness’s prior inconsistent statements made under oath at a trial, hearing, or deposition are not hearsay.
2. Prior consistent statements to rebut a charge of fabrication. Ex. If a witness testifies at trial & the opposing attorney both (a) impeaches the witness with a prior inconsistent statement & (b) explicitly or implicitly suggests that the change is the result of recent fabrication, then a statement made by the witness declarant prior to the motive to fabricate arose that is consistent with the trial testimony meets the exception & is allowed into evidence to rebut the accusation.
3. Statement of identification. Ex. If a witness testifies at trial & at that time has trouble identifying the perpetrator, a statement made previously by that witness identifying the perpetrator is not hearsay. Often used if a witness identifies a suspect at a lineup but by the time of trial, the suspect’s appearance has changed. Other exceptions include: present sense utterance, prior inconsistent statements, dying declarations.
It empty then replaced when she went back w the children. They had subs for lunch
Because she replaced it before the police took the video. Are you dumb?
Sweet protector. My ❤ breaks for her.
In broad daylight…….
The mic is picking up so much noise!!!!! Great testimony though
Pretty nanny
The judge re-traumatized this witness.
It's hearsay
I read her. I sense her sadness. Listening to this & watching is very sad.
What a traumatic experience for this young woman - such cowards the husband and his mistress were - feel for those 5 children growing up without their loving mother
Damn, she is smart, beautiful, great with children, why is she not married? She's freaking perfect!
Who is talking in the background?
The court reporter
No, it's a translater for Michelle.
Why can’t they consider the gun? Lol of course they will. That’s the only thing they’ll consider now…
Very confusing, the guy asked her a question about her opinion, she gave it to them about knowing he purchased a gun, then they struck it from the record because of what reasoning? it was her opinion, aren't her thoughts leading up to what her next step would be to find JD her reality & the truth. WOW.. and they call this justice.. This is disgusting, they clearly set this up together, MT knows where & what went down. She needs to come forward & stop being selfish at this point. So so sad to say the least. its so obvious to all the truth.
She is fortunate that Fotis didn’t kill her ..
Ok CT doesn't change fact that fotis is the killer
You're right, they should dig him up and prosecute him.
What’s the feedback in the court
Translator / interpreter.
She trully loves the children 🙏❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️🙏 May God Blessed you Ms.Almeida .🙏🙏 Amen.
The kids"maybe spilled something" and used up ten rolls of paper towel? Red flag.
How did Fotis know the nanny's schedule that she would not be there that morning? did'nt she say she was supposed to sleep over by Jennifer than had to change her mind?
…yeah
Sar please send visa i come to America for blonde girls
i agree what an amazing joint women ❤how sad for jennifer 😇
The judge needs a nap! Nanny, you're a super woman ❤
Did I miss something ? Cause it seems like there’s zero actual evidence in this case.
omg video of her in car with Fotis dumping his wife's bloody clothes with Michelle DNA on one garbage bag.She was a Venezuelan immigrant looking for a rich man too.
Why do Americans start every sentence with “So,…” ? It’s enormously annoying
Guilty AF
What a crazy story. The father kills the mother, then commits suicide, the mistress conspired and found guilty, the nanny runs over murders Fotis’s mother. I mean you can’t make that stuff up!
All this is just more proof that Fotis did this but nothing about Troconis
Yet Troconis got rid of the bloody evidence with Fotis in videos .she knew he killed Jennifer.. disgusting that she went right along with this . I don't feel sorry for her Lauren is a great witness..poor lady..bless her RIP Jennifer .😢
She's screwed too
judge is scary 😧
This is sad.
I could use a nanny like her. I don't have kids.
