    I'm a 40 year old farmer who worked as a lumberjack full-time for the last 15 years or so. When I started going to the gym a few years ago my friends wanted to see what I could do. I remember they asked me to see if I could bench press 250 pounds, and I did (1 rep, it felt scary). But then on deadlift I remember lifting around 450 pounds and feeling confused because it didn't even feel that heavy to me. I'm used to carrying heavy loads for long distances all of the time, so I think my body has just gotten used to that type of exercise.

A cut only goes for so long because it's not recommended to cut forever (not healthy for long-term because its just a point of 6 weeks to a year where you cut down on body fat, and if extended, can be detrimental to your muscles and overall energy). Also, that is wrong - there is no restriction on water. It's actually healthier to drink half your body weight in ounces, and many people don't drink enough water. Remember: Bigger muscles does not always equal strength.

    • @Trucks_n_stuff
      @Trucks_n_stuff หลายเดือนก่อน +51

      A further explanation of your comment for people that don't know; bigger muscles are usually indicative of larger muscle strands. Muscles gained through religion that are shredded and small are stronger because they are under more tension and they are greater in number packed into a smaller surface area, making it easier to move. Bigger muscles just means you have a harder time moving (there are exceptions, I know) but generally a bodybuilder isn't gonna be sprinting. A sprinter can be damn strong though, because there muscles are corded and more functional. Just because you can move big weight in one direction, doesn't mean you can effectively transfer power into movement. If you train with weights and do other skill related exercises then you will get bigger, but also a lot stronger. A wonderful way to grow strength without increasing mass is isometric exercise, which is working against something you cannot physically move or break. Like, trying to pull apart a steel chain over your head, there are a lot of different isometric exercises and I personally think it's very cool.

I've seen some weak af men that could easily be taken down by say a UFC female fighter. If course men are made to be biologically stronger but if they are tiny and the most they lift is an xbox controller, then there will be a few women stronger than them. They can easily change that though if they put the work in, whereas no matter how much work we put in, the majority of us will be physically weaker than the majority of men & that's okay.
