It was great to see you back and you three made it thru the hurricane safely that’s a good idea On the tote❤❤ stay safe my friends hello Clifford you keep those two in check lol
Dick, that’s a nice alternative on an IBC conversion. Kudos to Heath for comming up with the design. Travel safe to PB and have a good time. Wish I was going, maybe next year👍TCT
Appreciate the mention! In my opinion this is the best way for conveyor filled totes! I like the attachment of bungee cords. Looking forward to the OGF Thursday night live from Bunyan! You did call it a Wolfe Ridge conveyor though lol. I’ve done stuff like that before. So easy to miss speak when recording. If you tip it back a little more it relieves the pressure on the front.
Tighten the hinge at the top. Also put a board on the front or back of the door so wood won't fall out while you are driving toward your trailer. Just a suggestion.
Hello Wendell. The frame is 1/2 of a tarp/tent I bought about 30 years ago. I just bought a new tarp to fit. The original was sold by a local company which has since gone out of business.
Good catch Jeff! My old brain misfires sometimes lol. I'm sure it's NOT a Wolfe Ridge conveyor. Wolfe Ridge has followed Eastonmade"s lead and added an attached conveyor to their compact commercial models but it's way shorter than the 16' conveyor on this Eastonmade 22-28 with attached conveyor.
Firewood is way over priced. May as well use electric heat and buy a good generator for emergencies. I have heated with wood my entire life and will as long as i do't have to buy it. My geothermal heat pump is so efficient, it only costs me about $20 a month more to heat and cool my home against not doing either.
Hey Dick and Jose! That tote worked perfect, that’s definitely the best modification for dumping totes!
Hi Tony. It really works well.

Thanks John. Clifford keeps us straight haha!

Old man brain fart lol... edited, but it says it might take a few hours to correct.
That worked well Mr. Dick! I may have to give it a try one day.
Thanks for the video, Enjoyed it!
Thanks… I really appreciate you.
IBC mod looks like it works well 👍 Good demo video. Nice nod to HWM
Thanks Lyle. It works great with the attached Eastonmade conveyor on the 22-28 splitter.
Man that is slick! Good job Dick and Jose ( and Heath & Rachel)
Thank you George. It seems to be the best method I’ve tried so far.
Great video! I don't have a tractor yet, but when I do - I'll be utilizing the Heath/Rachel/Dick/Jose method for sure! Thanks for sharing!
@@BuckCountryWoodyard it works really good! Thanks for watching.
Hey Mr Dick , very good video . That does seem to be the best way to modify the totes for dumping . 👍🏻🇺🇸
I like it Del. Hope your power is back on!
@@oldguyfirewood Hey Mr Dick , no power yet but not complaining . Just a bump in the road compared to my neighbors in western NC and Tenn
Good morning Dick and José. That is slick. And the rachet straps held the tote tight against the machine.
Thanks Kenny!
That sure works good! Great job Dick👍👍
Thanks Jeremiah. It sure is nice to be able to loose stack off the conveyor and then dump with the forks. Eliminate touches!
Hi Dick, Works well! Keep moving! Larry
Thanks Larry. I bet your season is winding down. Enjoy a break!
Good morning Dick, seem to work well, see you at Bunyan👍🇺🇸
Thanks Larry. Only a couple more days!
I want make it to PB I got friends and family devastated by this storm . So I am working to help get things restored.
Jason, glad to see you have your priorities in the right place. Stay safe over there! Been praying for the victims from the hurricane. 🙏🙏🙏
Family always comes first Jason. I appreciate your comments.
Hi Dick, maybe wait until you are over the trailer before you open the door. Works great!
I thought the same thing.

Good suggestions Jeff. Thanks for watching.
Great mod on the ibc totes. What is the brand or model number of the cover over the splitter please?

What I like is If you don't like the way you hack a tote apart you can all ways weld it back together and try it a different way!
True!
Where can I find the cable and splices?? Ive just acquired some new totes!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Hi David. I just bought some 3/32 cable and ferrules from Lowe's... Home Depot would have them also.
Can you explain what you mean by 20 per month and what area of the country do you live in. Thanks
That was a comment of someone who had commented on my video… not my comment, and I don’t know what it means.
Are you sure that’s a Wolfridge conveyor lol

Unhook the bottom over the trailer then you won't have to pick up any splits. Because they will fall in the trailer.
Great advice. That’s what I have started doing.

Come spend a day splitting and stacking in my woodyard. And then tell me firewood is not worth $$$
Thanks for watching!

I've never seen this mod for the IBCs, gonna have to try it out. Hope the Bunyan show is good for ya! 👍🌴🇨🇦🇺🇸🪵
Thanks for watching. It works well.
