    A true hiker after my own heart. Awesome. I've camped in strong winds where the tent poles would bend and touch my nose. Though a wood stove is not for me.

    Simply beautiful. I have been to southern and central Norway but never the north. You are in a truly magical place.

      Thank you! Well, it seems like you've seen quite a lot already! I like to say that Lofoten is a miniature version of Norway, with ocean, islands, fjords, mountains and lakes all in a small area. If you plan on visiting northern norway you also have some interesting landscapes in the north east, with endless mountain plateaus.

    Great video mate, really stunning landscape. I was so hopeful you might have done a night sky Timelapse from that location with your tent in the foreground, @5.23 would have been perfect!

    As crazy as it might sound, I didn't know you could simply brew coffee without relying on a filter in some way. I will need to try it. Thanks again for bringing us along.

      Yeah, I don't think it's common outside of the nordic countries, so it's not weird that you haven't heard about it. When I brew coffee at home I usually use a filter with a pour-over option like V60 or Chemex. I get a very clean cup of coffee, but with the steeped coffee it tastes more rich and has more oils in it. It's basically the same as french press, just without a filter to keep the sediments in check. The tricks to avoid sediments are to stir the surface after four minutes of steeping, and then to pour slowly. A filter grind setting and a kettle with a spout also helps. Perhaps I'll make a more detailed description later on. Best of luck!

      It is very common in asia countries to brew coffee without any kind of filter. If you grind it very fine, the coffee will sink more easily..

    Hei, flotte videoer du lager :) Et spørsmål vedrørende Hilleberg Enan. Hvilken erfaring har du med teltet vedrørende kondens..??

    • @KristianPletten
      @KristianPletten  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Takk Erlend! Teltet oppfører seg bra vedrørende kondens. Med unntak av én vinterovernatting hvor det snødde så mye at ytterduken kom i kontakt med innerteltet så har jeg ikke hatt noe kondens i innerteltet. Teltet er ikke beregnet på slikt bruk, så det må jeg ta på egen kappe, og vil ikke si at det er teltet sin feil. Når temperaturen synker på kvelden så legger fuktigheten seg på ytterteltet, og innerteltet forblir tørt og fint. Det teltet kanskje er best på er ventilering. Ytterteltet er hevet noe fra bakken som øker sirkulasjonen av luft mellom innerteltet og ytterteltet. Ytterteltet har mesh i begge ender og innerteltet har hele døren i mesh. Når teltet er så lite så blir det mest naturlig å lage mat i forteltet med ytterteltet åpent, og da blir det også mindre varme og fuktighet i teltet. Ulempen med god ventilering er selvsagt at teltet ikke holder så godt på varme, men jeg føler meg godt beskyttet for vind og regn og kan anbefale teltet.

    Haha... it just amaze me how you change camera angel in action like that and make it look like you have more than one camera recording... Priceless. And this attention to details is what will make your channel grow :-D Great stuff!

      I see mostly orca whales, moose, otters and foxes, but there are also humpback wales, walrus, and stoats around.
