And yes, it was really recorded for 10 hours - no looping here!

@@SNOLLYS The best songs are the ones from the ps1 and the ps5, the one from the ps1 is incredibly nostalgic, the ps5 barely released it and the music also has a nostalgic tone.

I just got a PS5 today and we have to now distinguish between the “Home Screen” music and “Startup” music. I feel this is the “Startup” music as opposed to the Home Screen.
My friend recently got his hands on a ps5 when we unboxed it and set up, it had to update, and the music was playing while it updated, I nearly fell asleep

When I hear this it feels like I can hear little bits and pieces of every previous PlayStation start up music/sounds it’s really a soothing experience
The playstation is like the movies, the best are the first and the second.
The third was disappointing, but in hindsight it wasn’t as bad as we thought.
This is really close to being as good as the PS4 music

@Crazyreyn Hey dude, any chance you could record the home screen ambience after you're logged in, please? I absolutely adore it and it would be awesome to be able to play that sound from my phone rather than leaving the PS5 turned on all night. 🙏 I just find it so therapeutic and calming, and it reminds me of a similar ambience in Horizon: Forbidden West. Both are great for zoning out whilst meditating or sleeping. 🙏

Playstation made a creepy sound on ps1 and 2. But they made a beautiful sound for the ps5.
