My answer is late, but, what I think he is trying to demonstrate is that when the needle (north tip) crosses the horizontal (which is parallel to the magnetic field), it will then experience a force trying to align it with the field. That is when the needle tip is above this horizontal the torque due to the field will be clockwise, when it is under this line the torque will be anti-clockwise so that the field tries to align the needle in its direction.

These videos are very amazing for understanding full concepts, if you want to revise any topic you can also see in 2x speed . Thank you very much sir.
i still find it slow at 2x speed...xD
My son and I enjoyed you explanation. Well done and thank you.
Very well sir ..... keep on going
Amazing teaching and very easy to understand.....you very well and slowly explain each and every point... Pls keep on your good work sir😊
you are a fabulous physics man !! ..
Fabulous class sir.....
Super amazing😍👍 thanku sir for clearing every doubt.
Thanks for the quality content, every concept is explained analytically, that's quite trailblazing.. Excellent lecturer
You're are brilliant sir
20:55 The Formula is (M1/M2 = (T2/T1)^2)
yeah
sir u have really made this concept awesome and easy to understand sir
It was very nice explaination
Thank you so much sir
Thank you so much sir for this lecture
8:55 how torque acts in opposite direction?

In M × B, by right hand thumb rule✋ 👍, torque is oppt.
nice tie sir
tq sir
How is Oscillation measured for healing, in hertz, waves or what?
Thank u sir
thank you sir
thank you

Torque is r×F or F×r ??
No, the direction of r×F is opposite to F×r but their magnitudes are equal.
r×F
Pradeep kshetrapal heard these name in some book may be Pradeep chemistry or sl Arora book
Maja agaya
Sir which book you follow for magnetism
I think M1/M2 =T2^2/T1^2
Thank sir
