I bought a 1987 TLR200 reflex off of ed fisher in nov. 2020. Amazing time with ed and a great memory to have. He said that his belongings would be auctioned when he passed and he sure was right. RIP fast Eddie.
I think Eddie liked his Hondas
That’s for sure.
The serial numbers on mine was 00006 I gave it away to my nephew. I don't' know what happened to it.
Another great video Dave, the auction was a fun event full of Triumph enthusiasts and good people. Good to meet you and thanks for posting these videos!!!
Thanks Ron. I meet several new great people there.
Thanks for making the trip & posting this 👍
You're welcome. Thanks for watching
Dave is the Real Deal motorcycle guy
Thanks Charles!
Thanks Dave , man do I hate to see things go like this .
Yes, true
I love that rigid Triumph it's a Grand Prix it has the square barrel cylinder and head. Gas tank is incorrect. I once owned just the motor.
Yes, I learned something today. I did not know what a Grand Prix was.
is the GP a 53 ?
@@justinconway2728 It could be. My motor was a '50.
Haha, hilarious! "Oh no, I bought a Silverwing..." They are great bikes though. You did good. Lots of character. I'm doing a CX Turbo Right now. 🔧 Thx for bringing us along.
Yeah, I know. It was right after I said, "I dont want a Silverwing and almost ended the view. What the heck was I thinking, well the price was cheap methinks
@@bullpencycles exactly! Kinda hard to pass up... It's worth it dude
Did you sell the silverwing already Dave?
Silver wing was c heap I had one it was a good bike the only trouble is if didn't charge the battery you had to take the motor out to get to the stater. I would have went to 2500.
$2600 on a Honda passport. Good pull on that 200 race bike w/o title. Get a good 441 for that or b50mx. LOL! a Silver Wing comment was classic!
I probably went a tad high on that Cub, but it had a good story
So shocked HD prices are so crazy but i said that when BSA A10 was £250
😂 September, 1972. That's my birthday,, on the 8th.😂 awesome. Dude had allot of stuff, geesh. Allot of cool stuff for sure
Thanks for watching
Where was this? Some of that stuff went for cheap.
Shunk Pennsylvania a few weeks ago
Good video
I'm glad you enjoyed it. TH-cam had me up into the night remaking it for some reason!
I wanted to go but nothing really caught my eye plus it's a far drive for me. Are you going to Oley at the end of the month Dave? I'm actually kinda glad I didn't go. These prices... woof!
Yes, I will be there
@@bullpencycles see ya there
Here in the UK the Aerial Leaders were never considered to be scooters. What's missing is side panels.
The side panels were on the shelf.
AND not many Norton's
getting hard to find
There will be Nortons at the Triumph National in Oley in June. We covered it a year or two ago. I'm not sure yet if I can cover it again this year but keep checking. Or look for the other video
Sell the wing?
Yes
Just seen his first video. To bad he dird

Legend
