The reason for the “tea” colored water is yes the tannins from the wood. Any tank of mine that has driftwood in it will have the tannins. Now I don’t do a lot of water changes so that’s why they get more and more tea colored. But more frequently scheduled water changes would reduce the color drastically. I like the natural look of the tannins in the water.
Yes bigger the pump definitely going to be louder. But that pump is going to be for the pond. I was hooking the pump up to the main system to show how strong it is. Also pretty darn quiet for how much air it’s pumping out.
Good video amigo 👍
I guess frogs :)
It's gonna be a Chameleon
Why is the water in your tanks so tea coloured?
Is that driftwood leaching tannins?
Your big stock tank is also that colour too?

Did you have your old pump plugged in at the beginning? Because the new one is noisy AF more flow you more noise potentially.

When did Hygger send this out? I really wanted to try this one and they said it wasn’t part of the program. I got the ac/dc pump instead
Super recent. Like a week ago.
@ thanks. I look forward to a long term review on it. Seems nice so far !
