Not only will you build a healthy CIBIL score but you will also collect points. Those points will actually be free money. Also, let's not forget about cashbacks!

Banks make money through following ways -
Interest income - They borrow from you at 3% for savings account and 5-7% for FD.
And they lend to retail and corporates at 8-10%.
They make money in this spread. This is called net innterest income for the bank.
They also make non interest income -
    card charges
    late payment fees
    Atm charges
They also cross sell the following products -
Management fees - Amc (mutual fund) business
    Insurance business
    Gold loan business
    Transaction fees neft, rtgs, etc

    Some Banking "Gyaan".
As mentioned in the podcast, banks lend out the money that they get as deposits. This is oversimplified at kinda not true. Banks work on a fractional reserve basis, which means a fraction of the money has to be held as reserves. Let us take an oversimplified example.
Lets suppose that a bank has a deposit of 1,00,000 and a reserve requirement of 10%. That means that the bank can lend 90% of the funds it has, right? So, the bank should be able to lend out 90,000 while maintaining 10,000 as reserves, right?
    Wrong!!!
Banks can create their own money. So they don't lend out the deposits that they have. They CREATE NEW MONEY and lend it out. So in this example, the entire 1,00,000 is held as a deposit, and that becomes the 10% reserve. Based on this, the bank can lend out 9,00,000 now.
Where does the 9,00,000 come from? Out of thin air!!! Yes, that's right. If you are the one who takes the 9,00,000 loan, the bank will make the 9,00,000 simply appear in your account digitally, effectively creating new money!
This is an obviously oversimplified example, but this is the crux of how a central bank based fractional reserve banking system works. Welcome to your new reality.

Guys u got it wrong here .Banks essentially make money when they loan money .The money they loan is not against the money that they have through deposits . Its a mechanism called fractional reserve banking on which this modern money mechanics is based . Well that's my personal opinion. Contrary to popular belief I would say that having a credit card and using it wisely can be very beneficial and adds to your financial strength as you have an emergency fund source and don't have to look anywhere to borrow money when you actually need it (by using it wisely I mean to say that spend only 10% of your prescribed limit every month, though you need to keep increasing your limit by paying your bills on time)

Honestly is the name of the channel and Clueless is the name of the podcast so stop getting confused!
