His self awareness of being an African Grey bird never ceases to amaze me.
How he calls himself Gibby is beyond amazing.
Can’t stop watching Giz he is so entertaining and gorgeous
Thank you so much Chris!
I know what you mean.🇬🇧❤️👊👍✌️
He's got such a great personality, you can really see emotion coming from him its remarkable.
What a fantastic bird ❤🎉😊
@@gizmothegreybird🎉❤
My day is NOT complete if I don't watch my beloved Gizmo.
Best wishes for you and your family.
Awww!! We are so glad to bring you content to enjoy daily! :)
My favorite thing mine has ever said was “Hey Riley!” in my husband’s voice and then followed it up immediately in “yeah dad?” in my son Riley’s voice. 😂
Gizmo is the avian version of Robin Williams.
Haha that is a great reference
I hope not, in more ways than one. Da Gizz. 😝👍
Or Jim Carey
💯💥🤣 #RobinWilliams is laughing his arse off with #gizmo❣🤣
I'm not sure that Robin Williams would've appreciated the comparison but I'm sure Gizmo will do so. I hope anyway!!! Each time we do that I hope we see a love marriage taking over.
Before all and anything, what's truly remarquable in these birds is their extraordinary vocals abilities, the human voice beeing just one spectrum of a much much wider and deeper vocalisations.
Such a cutie, love how he is counting now always amazes me every time I see him. 🥰
Yes, and he is getting so good with his counting... He can do 1-4, still working on getting better at number 2 and learning 5
When he sings his “do do dooo” song it almost sounds like he’s singing into one of those old timey microphones.
I’m blown away! What an amazing , fascinating little guy ♥️ the look of intelligence and his mannerisms are so mesmerising … can see in his eyes how smart he is ….fantastic 🥰
Aww thank you so much Annette
I absolutely love him, you never know what he is gonna say 😂
Yes, I absolutely agree. He is amazing, I am so thankful he has a loving home.❤❤❤
Thank you for being such amazing parents to Gizmo. He’s such a great guy for sure. Thank you for showing him the outside his cage and people who love him 🥰🤩🥰🤩
Awww thank you so much Lisa!! You are too sweet ❤️
"are you sweating at it all night? -- [kiss]" LOL vocab plus context .... great !
He’s seen and heard something haha
I Adore the way he says "What ya doing", so cute. I think Gizmo is a beautiful human in disguise as a beautiful Parrot, or a beautiful parrot that's swallowed a dictionary 😆. But he's just beautifully wonderful. ❤️🇬🇧❤️
My African Grey, Noah will be 30 years old on Saturday! She is a love! 😆💖
Simple minds cannot keep up with the mental power of the Gizzard.
Have been watching him for ages and the hours tick by! His laughing ones are hilarious! 😂❤
These birds are one of the best talkers. Massive vocabulary. Highly intelligent birds.
Mom beats me......ooooo!!!
😂😂😂
"Who let the birds out?" "Chirp, chirp, chirp!" That's so cute!
What an incredible vocabulary. 😳 Gizmo, the absolute the best bird in the whole wide world. ❤👍
3:17 the bird even trails the sentence with a question accent
He's so amazing. I love it when he answers in context to what you just said.
When you same "come on" my buttercup wants to jump in the phone 🤣 she thinks we're going somewhere with you
Haha Awwwww 🥰🥰
You’re taking care of Gizmo so well. I love all his kisses. Will he ever be able to fly?
Aww thank you!!! We are still unsure but the chances are very low as he was never trained and it has been 16 years!
@@gizmothegreybird It’s because his wings have essentially atrophied is that correct? It’s so sad and most people don’t know that birds do not innately know how to fly. I did not know that, they have to be shown by their bird parents. Even people that get their birds as hatchlings or thereabouts cannot teach a bird how to fly properly. Most birds that grow up flying in a house are very bottom heavy in flight, they can get around and navigate but a proper flight is perpendicular to the ground. We human beings can’t teach that. Growing up and being weaned from your actual flock gives birds the skills they need. Sadly even if they do get this and they wind up in a home kept as an ornament or not properly cared for, their wings will just become useless because they have no strength in them right. Just like any muscle of ours they have to be used and strengthened. Now I have heard of birds that have not flown or lost the use of their wings be able to achieve flight. It’s a lot of work, most of them at this point prefer not to …because they can get around. I wonder if there is physiotherapy for birds to show them how to fly again or if they’ve never flown to teach them how to fly. That would be kind of cool. The way dogs teach each other to climb stairs, shake a paw that kind of stuff. I wonder if having other birds involved would help them. Now I am just wondering stuff aloud 😂. Sorry about that.
@@hopesprings4967 yes, I rehab tiny babies and handraise parrots from the egg. A lot of rehab sessions to get them flying. They have a flapping instinct and as babies, will achieve lift where they have that AHA moment. We as humans can teach baby birds to fly and yes, lots of rehab. And correct about atrophy of flight muscles in birds not given the opportunity to do so early. Learning to descend is harder for birds than ascending, too. It's a joy to teach tiny broken baby birds to fly ❤
@@gizmothegreybird Aw :( it would be so nice to see him fly. Even if he can’t fly, he has awesome owners now 😊
@@michelehemlokhexwhite4310 So would you say that a 17 or 18 year old bird like Gizmo is beyond assistance or able to learn to fly? I sense this may well be the case. So heartbreaking. Why on earth would people want to keep a parent and take away? The one big thing that makes them unique, the ability to fly. We humans are so stupid sometimes..
my african grey charlie loves gizmo he talks back to him haha, mine seems to talk more when im not in the room ive had him 11 years and he still amazes me with new words and tricks, they really do make a good companion :) and they are so loyal xx
Awww love that!! Please give Charlie a treat from us!!
@@gizmothegreybird i sure will! thank you :)
I feel like birds with this memorization could memorize Pi
His impression of water is incredible.
Love how Gizmo tilts his head at 3:31
Flannels and I both enjoy Gizmo every day. He is saying now Hello, Bird! Giz is great...so says Flannels, anotherGray.
I love that bird he's awesome 👌 greetings from Beirut Lebanon 🇱🇧
Hey Marie !! We love seeing you here all the way from Beirut Lebanon!!
@@gizmothegreybird thank you and God bless u
Watching the video where Gizmo arrives home for the first time and seeing him free and bonding with Emily is so heart-warming❤
I wish everyone would do captions like this. Perfect thank you.
Wow! That is so awesome. Thanks for putting captions to what he's saying. I have profound hearing loss. I can hear him pretty clear though. Do you leave your TV on alot? He's like he's his own bird tv show ❤ That's so cool
He spent like 16 years in a cage, I imagine a TV was his only company. I don't know though.
@@sagesufferswell yeah that would do it 😥
It's nice to meet you, friend. You have one amazing African Grey! I am so impressed by the intelligence of this dalring. I wonder how old he is! That was so cute to hear him saying' Who let the birds out?" He really is amazing. Thank you so very much for sharing that cutie pie with us!!
He's about 18
You certainly love your baby, he is such a delight and look at all the cool things you’ve gotten for him. With all that love, it is certain that he is one happy boy! Love your videos. Thank you for sharing your joy with us.
I love that video where he says “chirping out for real” 😂
I have been watching videos of African Grey Parrots for the longest speaking different words and I think Giz and you have won!
He’s so cool and so entertaining ❤
Gizmo, you’re the best 😊 Thank you for uploading these great videos, they cheer me up so much :)
So glad you love them, and glad to have you here!
Gizmo is such a handsome chap, lovin' his red tail... ❤️
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
this silly birb is why i love african grays
Wow, he sounds like a person. Amazing.
Right!!
How is his vocabulary for words, phrases, sound effects, ranges, and registers, mimicry in general, sooooo large, varied, and deep?
He is just a very special bird. We say he is one in a billion. He just is a master at speech. We think it’s because he was caged for so long, and that talking is what got the attention from his previous owners, so he learned to talk so well.
I wondered if when he was around all the other birds at his last place (16 did you say) he picked up any of their phrases?! Also some of his phrases I have to wonder if he got from audiobooks or tv they’re so not common everyday conversation… it’s just amazing!
I wish I could find a bird like Gizzy.
I can't get over what a smart cookie he is!
He makes me so happy watching him 🙏💖
Awe, he really likes the number 4 :)
So cute 😍
The part where he said,
"A couple said making, are you sweating at all tonight " 😅
Doo do doo doo. Chirp. Who let th birds out yeah.kiss. water water. Whatcha doin? Bang bang
Gizmo you continue to amaze and delight me ❤
Best birdie ever
Thank you for posting these videos. My African grey loves gizmo.
Gizmo is so funny. I absolutely love your videos of him especially when he’s singing
Shakka, when the wall fell.
How is this even real? Like should we be so vetting this? He’s so so so beyond any other parrot
He’s 💯 real 🥰 you can check out some of his previous lives or catch us on out next live to see how he can speak
Hi gizmo from UK I absolutely love you an watch you all day your amazing I love you gizmo "who let the birds out" chirp chirp chirp xx
Who let the birds out.. that's simply amazing! 😂😍👍💯
Right!!! He loves singing that song!
I miss my African Grey. His name was Sa Binza, meaning "old one" in pazande, a language spoken by the Azande people of Eastern central African republic.
What amazing little beings these parrots are.
Aww i bet you miss Sa Binza everyday!!! Love the name
He is so funny! I can watch him all day and never get bored!!!
Gizmo is so adorable.
Please give him a kiss from me.
Mwah 😘
"Whatcha doin?" Makes me laugh every day 🤣
Thanks Giz for making my day better XOXOXOX
So glad!
I've wondered what a flock of African greys would sound like sans people.
When nobody's watching they all do Rodney Dangerfield impressions.
When ChatGPT gets implanted in parrot's brain
Gizmo is incredible ❤️❤️❤️😻😻😻😺😺😺🙏🙏🙏
Aww thank you so much Jen!
Each video I see of this guy makes me fall beeper in love he is amazing. Gizmo the Great!!!
0:21 sounds exactly like a guinea pig squeak. 😲
He cracks me up!
The kid toy whistle sound also sounds like a door squeaking
Yes, we totally hear that too!
Have you tried having him listen to audiobooks? For example a Dale Carnegie book or Atomic Habits
His look, “Well, not all humans can be trained…I say four and she says one…” 😆
“I love you.”
“Do do do do do.” 😂😂😂
My boy isn’t the type to commit. 😂
Chirpin out is a classic!
He is an absolute beauty
I didn't know about Gizmo 9 months ago. Now that I do, he's become the most precious feathered find on TH-cam. I love you, Gizmo Grey! ❤🩶
I really need to cash in on my African Grey, he is very chatty as well. He can earn some TH-cam revenue to help pay for all the destruction he causes around the house. The problem is he is not predictable or consistent. He may start talking and flap his beak for an hour straight or he may say one thing then be quiet for hours.
This is my first encounter with Gizmo and it won't be my last. Have subscribed. I love African Greys but unfortunately cannot have one, or any other bird, due to my lung disease.
He knows exactly what number he wants, hahahaha
Hes just adorable I just love him
His “raptor walk” is fierce 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼😉
He makes more sense than our president. 😂
😂😂
Gizmo is training you to say Chirp chirp chirp!!, Lol!! Now THAT is a thing that makes me wonder how intelligent he might be. Has a bird ever been trained to train someone? Or is this something he just discovered??? That's crazy!! Pets do little things to modify our behavior sometimes, but to get you to say something specific???
He looks in great shape.
Thank you! He sure is.
I like when he sings doi doo like a beat knick in the coffee shop
Right! So cute
My favorite funny saying that he's ever did was Who Let The Birds Out Chirp Girp 🤣
Very smart voices, cute. I like it
Beautiful birdie. ❤ where did he get that American accent? 😂😂 I love it
He has a Canadian accent as we live in Canada 🥰
You might show him waht the numbers mean. For example showing amount of fingers or treats or sequence of sounds..So that he's getting what the words are about..
I'm sure that Gizmo will learn that very fast.
That is actually a great idea!! I might get some flash cards and use objects to teach him.
Your bird is absolutely amazing wow!
Thank you very much!
Omg he is so smart!!! Everytime my notification comes up about Giz I click it right away
Awww yay!!! Thank you so much for your support Krystal !
I thought the ringing in my ears was early onset tinnitus, but nope! Just Gizzy
I want Gizmo to represent me in court.
Haha, if you are ever in court just call the law offices of Giz
He sounds a bit like him.
Have you ever tried to play him the "who let the dogs out" song? I would love to see his reaction 💛 love your channel Gizmo always makes me laugh
I'd love hear gizmo mimic my Australian kookaburra 🥰❤️
Love this little man, I can’t miss my daily dose of Giz ❤️
All numbers are pronounced "four" 😂 love it Giz 👍
Haha yes!! He is getting so good now though. He can say 1, 3, and 4 perfectly
I love gizmos clear, strong voice.
He is so clever and cute
Missing some of Gizmo's beloved phrases - ie:
Mom: you're a clever boy
Giz: mom beats me! OOooOOoo! 😂
Gizmo is like my daily vitamin!
Can you teach it to sing « I’m da biggest bird » please 😂
Yes! We have been working on that with him haha
@@gizmothegreybird Oh that's so cool! I'll love to hear him singing
