I traded on paper until I reached 10K. I took all the loses, gains and mistakes without losing a dime. I now have mastery of the platform, my emotions and multiple trading styles bc I took the time to learn what trading looks like. I’m not perfect but I’m not a noobie either after the long trek to the 10K. Trading on paper until you eliminate mistakes was gold for me.

Great video and does reflect the truth! I actually have a slight twist to it: once the account reaches a certain amount, I find it stressful to invest with it (I day trade). What I do is remove the gains and invest elsewhere (e.g. stocks to hold, property mortgage pay-out,...) and "go back to the start". It links to what you say: being mentally able to take huge losses is not easy (even when you "know" you can make them back in a few days and that they are to be expected - we will never get it 100% right... far from it...). And, btw, I've been trading for over 20 years...

correct. Strating to lose a monthly salary on a single trade even though its 1% in the beginning itself is hard to get over.

great video that's exactly what I have been doing., I only deposit 10 dollars at a time, im currently going into my 8th deposit tonight but I have greatly improved. Psychology wise I have also been taking the best setups and those give me peace of mind. I rarely get stomped out but sometimes with revenge trading I blown my accounts. Im in the final steps before becoming profitable!

the thing is yes you should start small but there are things in life you will never learn without taking actual risks.
Like learning how to control your emotions and get to know how you react in difficult situations. I'd suggest trading with a medium size account rather than 10$.
And once you are fit do the compound strategy

More than wonderful, thank God that I was like bill2 when I decided to learn technical analysis and started my account with 10$ and then doubled over and over and during that period until I reached the appropriate experience for trading with a high account

Hi! You didn't mention anything about leverage in this video. Is this strategy meant to be applied only in spot trading accounts? If I have a $10 account and I risk $1 per trade, what is considered a reasonable leverage? 3x, 5x, 10x..?

the advice at 08:50 is the dumbest sht ever, DONT DO THIS. The more money you have in your account, the easier it is to lose it. Just double the 100$ yourself, DONT deposit more money if you cant at least 5X your starting balance.
