Wow, Vijay Gokhale sir has summed up so well. I watched several programs on this topic but there is no equivalent to this Kevin Rudd's analysis is also very good but very brief.
Mr Gokhale's answers were just brilliant. He didn't pander to Jyoti m'am nor did he say anything we all would love to hear, which is the destruction of China etc. His answers were measure, not hyperbolic. He didn't exaggerate and he was grounded in his opinion and his interpretation.

I THINK Army toppling CCP is unlikely to happen. This is not Pakistan. Here the party have the utmost control over military and also military does have the loyalty to the party and nation. Unless a political rival pops and push Xi out through political maneuvering (Just like how Xi played his cards) it is unlikely to happen. Now this is just political stability. As of now we can't be sure of any social, external, economic stability. All of this depends on Xi future decisions.
Haha Chinese know what a single person rule can do to them. So funny. Single party rule has completed 70 plus years and given from 1980 the best quality of life and prosperousity in past 40 years in entire 4000 year history.

There was a guy who told me that in any fight if you only have the stamina to throw punches for 2 minutes then all the opponent needs to do is build stamina to throw punches for 2 minutes and 5 seconds. China will engage us in a prolonged war until our manufacturing capacity to fight collapses or our economic capacity to purchase commodities and weapons collapses. It’s coming whether we like it or not.

President Trump baited President Xi Jinping and he took the bait. Trump then spinned China making look like the bad guy. It was really bad.
