Those shoes ... Almost can't bear to even look at it! Who wears sneakers in the mountains, and in winter at that? I hope Laura gives you proper hiking boots for your birthday!
each time we get to see laura is a pleasure 🙂Cool nonsense idea for a future video: how about a friendly round of "girlfriend vs. brother, who knows me better" game?? :)
You really gotta tell the writers that they used the whole „I forgot my wallet“-storyline a little bit too often it the last few episodes. They might have to think of some new ideas for the script
So lesson learned, except NALF. If you invite NALF for a trip provide an extensive list for preperations and expect it to be ignored. So the actual most important thing is to keep your phone charged, because while he is climbing that snowy mountain half naked you can always call rescue services.... 🧐
Beautiful :) Can't wait to travel again. Also: "MEIN GOTT NICK DU HAST JA NICHT MAL EINE MÜTZE ODER HANDSCHUHE DABEI??? WILLST DU ERFRIEREN, JUNGE?!" - Nalf's German Grandma👵🏻
Love train travel in Europe. Took a vacation to Switzerland and after flying into Zurich, we took trains everywhere. Best trip was a train from Basal to Paris. Super fast and excellent service. Will do it again.
I miss the Dolomites. This Oregonian learned how to snowboard in Sterzing/Vipiteno, can you believe it? Lived so close to Hood and Bachelor and learned in Italy 🇮🇹
This brings back memories of a ski trip in Chamonix many years ago. My wife and I climbed into a teleferique full of people to go up to Aguille du Midi at 13,500 ft. It was dizzying and we had the option of connecting with another teleferique which dangled 4000 ft. over the ski run to a Pointe Heilbronner where you had the option of skiing down into Italy or back into France. We opted out. Among the reasons: no passport. Some months later we read in the news that a french air force pilot had crashed into the Aguille du Midi/Pointe Heilbronner cables while hot dogging over the ski run. Fortunately, it was out of season for skiers. Think twice before you go up in one of those contraptions.
You’re missing out on buying those beautiful German hiking boots? I have mine from 10 yrs ago. Bought them in BW for day hikes and they still look great 🧡
I once was camping in France with a youth group. And at the age of 19 it never came to my mind, that it would be cold at night in a camping tent without proper floor, that was connected to the rest of the tent and with a lot of rain and cold temperatures. Also I followed the instruction to pack light (which was just a reminder for all the people that would pack 20 shoes for a week, as I later found out), because I didn't got the joke. So I was not well prepared at all, and because of the rain that we often had, I couldn't wash my clothes often, which I thought that I could do, so I had barely enough stuff for the week...because of the fire we made, nobody noticed if the only warm sweater I had, were a little bit smelly.😄 Lucky me. The visit of the mountains is really cool, I would love to do it myself one time...beautiful pictures.
Almost as underprepared as for the Italian wedding... "Italy is handing out free passports? Let me do literally any activity in this joke of a country in shorts and sandals then!"
Super cool location you visited there! Never been there, but will do when I get the chance. If you ever get the chance (and money...) go visit Zermatt in Switzerland. For me personally that's the non plus ultra regarding mountain and nature beauty. --> Thats where the Matterhorn is, but also so much more... No cars, except some electric ones and electric busses. Regarding the hight... the beautiful town itself is at 1600m and the cable cars go up to 3883m onto the Klein Matterhorn. There is mountains and ski areas in all directions around town, and you can even cross over to Italy to Cervinia and back over to Zermatt in a day trip. Look it up and maybe visit. Bring Laura :)
Spectacular drone footage of some spectacular mountains 🤩 Coach Neuman may have to ban you from visiting mountains with their countless dangerous hazards as it’s just too risky for you. You’re naturally talented as a walking liability with disaster waiting to befall you at all times 🤕 PS Linebackers aren’t scared of anything ! Not of big huge RBs nor mountain Gondolas 🚠🦾🏔
He is taking notes from his little brother. ;) And because he has to remind us that he is in fact from the U.S. and not from Germany, where we overprepare and take our winter gear with us on our summer vacations in the mountains, just in case. ;)
@@Quotenwagnerianer I find Americans in the Alps are easy to spot because for some reason they never bring clothes but they always bring water bottles (I admit I have not seen NALF with one). Even for a 5min walk they will bring water. It must be the climate. Apparently in most of the US you are more likely to run out of water than freeze. In Europe it is certainly the opposite.
@@tobiwan001 Americans probably always have a water bottle in Germany because in the states water is free and easily found, whereas in Germany a person has to pay for water. 😁

You forgot your wallet again?😆 There is a German saying: Was man nicht im Kopf hat, hat man in den Beinen. And my feet are freezing off just looking at your shoes in the snow. I would not survive this. But you do you.😀
When I was young in the Swiss Alps, I stayed in an old lady's boarding house. She wouldn't let me drive up the mountain without personally smearing SPF 30 sunscreen on my face. So I was totally unprepared. She was almost a little annoyed when I said it wasn't necessary. But of course she was right. The solar radiation at 3000 m altitude is of course extreme, and as a local she knew that of course. Still, it was a bit funny that she personally smeared the stuff on my face.
Wow, at least some improvement: He brought his Nike's and not the "Adiletten" for the hike🤣🤣🤣 Guy, you really have to work on your clothing no matter if its the Alpes or a wedding😄
The mountains looked like a bunch of rocks with snow on them! Sorry, not sorry! Prairie girl here and the mountains make me claustrophobic. Flat land as far as the eye can see - aah 😌. Love your videos though 😊.

Selfish but guess she didn’t want Mikey third wheeling hard, cramping her style and killing plans for being romantic with her man. But she should know that family is very important to Nalf. Girlfriends/boyfriends come and go but family is forever.
wow, this guy is underprepared. Unsubscribe.
😂
Stop talking nonsense.
Also mock him and call him girly names!
Just like his brother, he is unprepared for the cold - must be a family trait 😂
He even forgot to ask his brother to sing the beginning of the end music for his latest video…
Those shoes ... Almost can't bear to even look at it! Who wears sneakers in the mountains, and in winter at that? I hope Laura gives you proper hiking boots for your birthday!

Even with eyes open it is not possible to look at the sun.
