I hate it when you make it look so easy AND CLEAN. I just did mine, just placing the membrane up on the wall drove me crazy, not mentioning that my whole body is now hurting…
I would use something like 20 minute hot drywall mud in those gaps where the drywall corners meet. Reinforces them a bit before the membrane is applied. Thanks for sharing.
Winni, quick question, I used the same backer board, the James Hardie hydro defense in my bathroom. Why did you do the sheet membrane over it? The backer board is advertised by the company as 100% water proof, only the seams need water proofing as per the installation instructions. Seeing you do this is making me panic, I just tiled over mine! Thanks
