One of the first high scool covers ive seen where nobody is showing off, nobody is 50x faster than everyone else, people are interested, and the band members actually move instead of just standing looking down at the guitar, AND. A. VOCALIST. Well done!
Girls have been screaming to that song 60s 90s 00s 10s and now 20s. Metallica has been rocking since then. They sell out every concert. Congrats guy. Best Ive heard of this generation. Rock on young bloods.
You know this is an accurate Justice cover because there's no bass. Edit: No disrespect intended - You guys killed it! Was just making a crack about Jason being turned off in the mix.
That walking in entrance, shirts off gimmick, drummer stick tricks out of nowhere, this is really better than most talent show covers cause you guys got balls! Great job
I love watching high school bands playing. It reminds me when I first started out. You can see and feel the passion and there is no care in the world on stage except a few guys having fun playing some Metallica. Nicely done.

I'm a 46-year-old guy from a small village in germany and metallica-fan for about 30 years....and you guys kick ass!! and of course you made your homework! because this performance reminds me of the emmy-performance for the song "One"! very well done!
You just made this old woman cry TEARS OF JOY! I now have faith in the younger generation, you guys nailed it! I went to the clubs back in the early 80s and have been a Metallica fan ever since, you NAILED it! Ummmmm..........just watch out for groupies and tub tarts! Motherly advise.
Sorry, you may be a young person. A "tub tart" or "groupie" is/was a woman who would do anything for the bands they love. They are/were "collectors" of famous men.
I kinda like the faster speed. Gives it a cool different energy. Besides, it seems like the singer would rather be playing guitar than singing, so he gets through those sections quicker and doesn't have to spend as much time being expressive singing each note.
Exactly what my thoughts were, for us this song was more about the guitars and drums rather then the vocal melody, I’m not a trained vocalist, so you damn right I wanted to get through those section as fast as I could 😂
Metallica changes the speed all the time. Saw them play in the Kingdome in Seattle. Terrible acoustics. They adjusted their timing to coincide with the echo in the place as to not muddle the sound. Seen them outside and yea they play a little faster live.
At any given moment at any time of the day the algorithm will toss me a random video of some kids with playing heavy metal music. It warms my heart to know the youth today feel it in their soul the way I did at their age. Hail Hail Rock n Roll
Killed It! Damn good job! All three of you had your timing spot on. Had the pleasure of seeing Metallica 2x back in the day, and One is my favorite live track. Glad to see this generation rocking out to Metallica!!
A lot faster of a tempo, BUT, I enjoyed it. I appreciate that the younger generation is taking these songs and carrying them forward. I think I was about 15 when this came out, and I loved this album. Great job.
Brings me back to when I played in high school bands. What a great experience that was. Enter Sandman and Crazy Train we’re the cool songs to play. Lol Great to see kids today doing the same. Awesome job guys. ❤
I really liked watching this. Drummer was great, the guys on the guitar were great as well. Thanks and keep up the good work my friends. Greetz from Holland
That rocked. Crowd was into it. This song came out the year I was born. 1985. I first heard it in 1994 at age 9. My older cousin Danny played it for me on a cassette tape in his Boombox. I had the same reaction.🤘some music is timeless.
Nice job, as a long time Metallica fan and musician I appreciate this so much. Middle school is where I learned to play guitar and drums and was in my first band playing alot of metallica songs.
im not even gonna lie your guy's version of this song honestly sounds like an entirely new song to me and i love it you guys did a really good job on this good work
Back in the mid-aughts when I was in a band, we'd call a song done like this a remake; not a cover. We liked to put a spin on cover songs that sounded like the original, but weren't completely like the original - if that makes sense. Anyway, again, great job, guys! Keep at it.
Great! My honest respect! Its great to see young guys can and still play Instruments and great music! And know what good music is! Seldom, sadly that this is the case!
Talk about fun. I wish when I was in high school we had fun stuff like that to enjoy. Those kids worked hard to do that in the audience was very appreciative. 👍🎵
RIP BASS. Its sooo good im proud of these guys i think that there should be more Metallica people but i saw lots of people at the Metallica concert at 27,29 april and i even got my first merch! And im just 11!

@@Masterfighterx well the running joke is, that Lars didnt double kick for about 15 yrs, he's been doing it again the last decade or so, since Death Magnetic, but while playing ONE he would just boom boomboom tap, instead of the original double kick part. and did that with many songs live for a long long time. while his peers, Lombardo, and Benante, were kicking ass and getting better at an older age.

No bassist? Wow, you guys really wanted to make it legit. Nice cover!!! \m/
Just trying to follow in their footsteps 😅

I was looking for this comment, and you did not disappoint. The bass-light mixing of that album was a travesty.

They do bloody great but they do stand there for the most of it looking at their guitars ahahha

Then you don't watch many HS band vids, and yeah, these young men did a great job
No one showing off? Like guitar player that comes from the crowd as he's butchering the intro solo lmao 😂
Makes me happy seeing people from this generation still drawn to traditional instruments. Nicely played.
These are the best instruments!
