At number 3 The Soccer City/ FNB Stadium is not the actual total cost of the stadium. Remember this is a cost of a revamp. The FNB existed since the '80s. And that's a revamp price however not the total price of the stadium. It was already a 80, 000 Plus seat stadium before the revamp.

The Democratic government of South Africa hasn't done much to eradicate this system. South Africa is more developed when compared with other African countries, but it has many areas that has people who are still living in extreme poverty. This shows that other African nations are engulfing in extreme poverty. South Africa has the potential to become one of the greatest countries in the world in terms of development. That can only happen if they also try to develop their villages and townships. They can't continue using apartheid system to develop their country, even their villages need to be urbanized and industrialized. The government of South Africa must set itself a 15 to 25 years goal to improve the infrastructure of its villages and townships. Many black South Africans are still excluded economically. Urban areas in South Africa continue to improve while many townships continue to degrade. Taking one step backward and another step forward is the same as being static. The poor are becoming more poor in South Africa, unemployment rate is at more than 34%. Many degrees are not marketable in South Africa because the country is still failing to create more jobs for graduate. If it's worse in South Africa then it's worst in other African countries since South africa has the second largest economy and highest GDP per capita than almost all African countries. I know South Africans are going to get angry because I mentioned some negative things about their country.

Rodney Kaputu None of those stadiums made the list. All your good stadiums made the list because they were built or heavily renovated because of the cup. Without the cup you are inline with the other African nations with a solid economy. If the cup went to Angola or Tunisia then they would have dominated the list too and you might have 1 or 2.
Rodney Kaputu your stadiums were not world class when they were built so that is why they needed so much in upgrades or new ones had to be built. France, England, Spain, Germany, etc their stadiums are world class when they were built, that is why you don’t hear much about building new stadiums or major upgrades when they host the Euros or the cup.

South Africa has the most expensive bcos they are the only one to have hosted the fifa world cup. They built those stadiums for the world cup. If Nigerian or any other top African country get the nod to host the world cup then it gives opportunity for the countries to up their infrastructurs. Most of these stadiums pre-existed before the world cup they just got upgraded.
Almost all of these stadiums existed before, some had to be extended and made bigger and some revamped. South Africa has the best infrastructure in sports. Believe it or not.

Have you noticed that most south african villages have beautiful houses, all they need is for their village roads to be tarred or paved. South Africa also have better hospitals and clinics than most African countries.
South Africa should also build better RDP houses for the poor, they can't continue designing the RDP houses the same way they use to in the year 2000.
South Africa should also make sure that everyone that leaves in the country has access to water, many South Africans don't have access to water. They should also build proper dumping sites for some of their villages and townships. Lastly South Africa must start industrializing in poor communities, it doesn't help the nation to progress when we always base new companies in already industrialized and urbanized areas. Building new companies in villages and townships promote inclusivity. Industrializing only in urban area was the apartheid system that was dedigned to oppress the blacks. The Democratic government of South Africa hasn't done much to eradicate this system.
South Africa is more developed when compared with other African countries, but it has many areas that has people who are still living in extreme poverty. This shows that other African nations are engulfing in extreme poverty.
South Africa has the potential to become one of the greatest countries in the world in terms of development. That can only happen if they also try to develop their villages and townships. They can't continue using apartheid system to develop their country, even their villages need to be urbanized and industrialized. The government of South Africa must set itself a 15 to 25 years goal to improve the infrastructure of its villages and townships. Many black South Africans are still excluded economically.
Urban areas in South Africa continue to improve while many townships continue to degrade. Taking one step backward and another step forward is the same as being static.
The poor are becoming more poor in South Africa, unemployment rate is at more than 34%. Many degrees are not marketable in South Africa because the country is still failing to create more jobs for graduate.
If it's worse in South Africa then it's worst in other African countries since South africa has the second largest economy and highest GDP per capita than almost all African countries.
