But Glenallen's blast was so quick to leave Wrigley and so prodigious in distance that veteran announcers Harry Caray and Jack Brickhouse could think of no precedents. (Wind was not a factor in assisting Hill's lightning-fast line drive.) Besides unequaled power, GlenAllen had blazing speed on the base paths--though he rarely hit singles.
In an alternate reality Glenallen Hill and the Nightmare Spiders is an awesome punk band.
