I wonder why rear ac/heat vents aren't standard in every sedan?
Whats strange is that the EX model has them in the center console.
The cost of production and the strategy to increase the pricing for the model equipped with rear air vents.
Enjoyed this. Good information.
Glad it was helpful!
Love to see an extended driving test of the 2025 K5 GT. If you can find one that is??
From what i heard from a dealer today that noone has it yet and he was unsure of the ETA, but I will film one as soon as it will be available.
The stainless trim around the windows and around the trunk is EXACTY THE SAME since it was 1st release d in 2021....
It looks good.
I bought a 2022 Kia K5 GT-line brand new I now have 61k on it not one issue still looks and drives like the day I bought it.
Great info!
Beautiful car there 😍😍😍😍I want one lol
Its for sale 😀
I want the k5 gt line sooo bad, just nervous about the lack of insurance coverage 😭
Is it still hard to find insurance? Crazy because they have been a lot more secure than older Kias for a while now
Yeah😭 maybe it will change but my friend works for state farm and she said their branch will not cover any kia car. I will just keep doing my research once I get closer to buying.
I have a 2024 Kia K5 GT line. I live in Florida. I had no problem getting multiple insurance quotes from carriers.
@terrion4566 My k5 GT LINE is insured with state farm.
@@johnfranklin5277 yeah i know it depends on the area. Im still buying it either way I HAVE to have this sweet baby😎
I need a car asap. ‘25 Kia K5 GT Line, ‘25 Camry SE , or maybe a ‘24 Accord Ex/Sport Hybrid, in your opinion? I’m intrigued by the K5, but reliability is a concern. I’m more interested in the K5 and Camry. The K5 looks better, in my opinion. I actually love the simplistic look of the Accord, but I hate its high center console. It runs smack into my knee. A lengthy drive, and that will become very uncomfortable. Reliability with Honda, nowadays, is a concern, too.
Thats a tough one as you have 3 solid choices here. If you drive a lot and gas mileage is a concern than Camry is a clear winner. If you like technology and gadgets than go with Kia ( also my personal favorite as far as design), Honda? Well it is a very safe choice, practical but boring and being a Honda person myself I hate to say it but Accord does not wow me in any aspect. I woupd not worry about their reliabilty. Over the last 20 years I owned 6 Hondas and never had an issue.
@@MattTheCarguy would you trust the K5 reliability wise, though?
@@sherrikwhiteside6107 time will tell but they came a long way and base on the comments from owners it should not be an issue. Also you have 10 years/100k mile warranty.
Look into the 2025 Hyundai Sonata hybrid LE u won't be disappointed. I'm a Camry guy but that Sonata is very convincing
The k5 ia a good choice bro. My friend has an accord and its a solid car but its boring as hell in terms of the interior and to drive lol. Drove the k5 and its solid.
How come no car reviewer has come out with the GT? Its been out for a month now.
It hasnt. None of the dealers received it yet. At least here in Florida.
@@MattTheCarguy but it has though. I'm on the K5 subreddit and people have been owning them for several weeks. Just saying! Hope you can get your hands on one soon 👍🏽
I am interested in knowing what the other themes are for the gauge cluster! It showed that there are 3 other themes you can change it to...would you be able to show us, or at least describe it? Thank you!
On this model the only difference it the background color. If you go for a higher trim with tru 12.3 inch digital instrument cluster there is more customization. I just recorded an EX trim and this video will be up next Monday.
@@MattTheCarguy Thanks!
I will take the K5 over the Boring Camry in a heartbeat!!!
I like them both but agree that K5 is more exciting.
Yes, To the title ofc, there’s no question apart from mpg… BUT THats a cardboard boat hybrid so…
But that mpgs though... hard to resist 50mpg.
@@MattTheCarguy Ugh yess that’s the only thing! The way I see it there’s only going to be two types of people Camry or K5s for 2025, the new Honda looks like a depressed snapping turtle so that’s out the question
BS to put Vinyl lnstead of leather
Standard on pretty much everuthing even highline. Mercedes MB-tex, BMW Sensatec, Lexus NuLuxe, Toyota Softex, Hyundai H-tex, Kia Syntex, VW V-tex, Subaru StarTex. I thonk Honda and Mazda use combination of leather and faux leather on their seats but they dont put fancy names on them 🤣
All of the other models to including the GTI
have the actual 190 HP the GT puts out between 290 and 300HP
LXS, GT-Line and EX 191hp and 181 lb-ft. GT 290hp and 311 lb-ft. No GTI here.
The only thing I dont like is the gage cluster, its ugly other than that is a nice car.
The EX has a fully digital cluster, slightly different design, but not as cool looking on the outside.
You don't know? And you want us to tell you. 😂
Your opinion may be different than mine.
Nice to look at but not reliable.
"The 2024 Kia K5 has a predicted reliability score of 85 out of 100. A J.D. Power predicted reliability score of 91-100 is considered the Best, 81-90 is Great, 70-80 is Average and 0-69 is Fair and considered below average."
Its not the same Kia as years ago
your bait is as flavorless as you. 🥴, while you’re here tho, look at that beauty! no one will be able to see anything else
@@MattTheCarguy Had a 2012 Optima, 2015 Cadenza, 2018 Stinger, now a 2021 K5, next problem I have will be my first.
@@nyifnbr18 thats great to hear! They came a long way.
