@JorgeRiverosTales Kia has to stand out to get people buying sedans again. I've shown my Gen Z cousin the picture of the new K5 and Accord. Guess which one he likes the most? The K5! Young people are the future. They know what's hot and what's not! But I can see some older drivers be a little intimidated by the radical design because it's nothing they are a custom to. Those 90s and 00s sedan styles are long gone now. We are in the "Digital Computer Age" era.

I have always liked the design and practicality of this car. I still don't get why they do not offer AWD on the GT model, but offer it on the other models with less power. If they could get that together, this car would probably be one of their best sellers.
It's cost! Something has to give and take. If it was a Genesis, then it would have AWD on their performance models. No mainstream mid-sized sedans have AWD on their performance models.
@@muny_man I agree. Both would give you better traction but I’m not going to drive it like a race car plus I don’t want the big hump that comes with AWD…
Sad that they don’t offer AWD on the top model. Makes no sense. I had a 2014 and 2015 Kia Optima SX-L with 290 hp and the front tires would spin relentlessly if you floored it, or if it was wet out. I now have a 2024 Audi RS5 Sportback, and the grip and power is amazing. AWD is a necessity up here in the Chicagoland area.
Looks awesome 👌 problem with lots of Hyundai products is they either copy too much or unique but over done that doesn't age well, meaning people are looking for next polarized design which will hit or miss. Reasons Honda, audi, Volvo stay more simple is long term
The GenZs are leaving those cars to collect dust at the dealership. It's the older conservative drivers are buying simplistic boring cars. I'm not trying to be rude, but it's the truth. If a car is not cool and flashy for TikTok, the younger consumers ain't gonna buy it.
It depends on what you value most. If you want the most luxury get a Lexus. If you want a dynamic driving experience the GT would be the best bet. And if you want great economy the Camry would be good
Lexus es and is won't even be more luxurious, they don't have big digital screen, they don't have big sunroof and es is slower and is literally same in power. Everything else is the same
Why is it shame? They would have still been selling stinger hadn't been for people who talked down on the car saying it's kia it's not worth the price and went with something else. Go buy one, they still on sale
It's an okay refresh except for its somewhat fussier interior controls and fanged tail lights where it seems Kia designers were inspired by the idea of stuffing LED's into a Camry XSE fake rear brake vents. Personally, the replacement of the torquey 1.6T with the NA 2.5L on the non GT trims (esp. the GT- line) is a bigger demerit but it appears H/K's now reserving that engine mostly for their hybrids.
Toyota gave up on performance with the 2025 Camry, no more V6 or TRD 😢 and only offered as a Hybrid 🤔 The Honda Accord is still just a Honda Accord, nothing exciting or special to see there. The K5 is definitely the most exciting sport sedan in the segment. Now Kia just needs to offer all wheel drive on the GT Model and a bump in Horsepower would also be nice.
