I think the biggest takeaway from this video is that sustainability is not only an ethical responsibility, it also just makes good business sense. A ton of the sustainability practices highlighted in this video seem like very sound investments in the future of the tannery.

It has long been a thesis of mine that high quality leather footwear has an implicit environmental benefit, and to see how modern tanneries are seeking to improve this outcome is very refreshing. Perhaps could you do a video on different kinds of leather and how to chose what’s best? Both for tanning processes (vegetable/chrome/oil/etc.) and animals (calf/yearling/moose/bison/sheep/kangaroo/kudu/etc.)

Mexico doesn't get the credit it deserves for leather goods. I used to get all my holster rigs made in Juarez, superb quality!!! Just aint worth catching the "bullet flu" to go over there now.
