I don't know if anyone else realized this but I was just watching Titanic yesterday again and there is a scene when Jack takes Roses to dance in the lower class area where everyone is having a real party unlike the one the wealthiest were having in the dining room, next thing I noticed was that all the songs played during this scene are played here as well, pure irish traditional music. What an amazing work!

A few weeks ago I went to an irish pub in Salzburg, Austria "just for a beer or two", ended up getting to know some locals, talking and drinking together and after 4 hours I got tired and I had to go... Irish pubs are always relaxing and a great part of the community. Now I can't go there that often so I'm here now, listening to this music and getting that great feeling back...

40 years ago, yeah, last century, I played hardrock, punkrock. Then, one day, we made holidays in Ireland. There, in an old tavern, there we found some elder irish gents playing fiddle, tin whizzle, bodhrán. That day I felt in love with this great music. Thx for bringing back a little peace of youth ;)
Why wait for one day a year to listen to this? This is my Happy Music, and a very nice variety it is, unlike some shows or compilations where every tune sounds like the last. As for me, I often listen to this on Sunday afternoons as I iron my shirts for work. Sometimes, as odd as it may sound, I find a beer goes nicely with the music and my labors. Cheers.
