AMIRA Ja ik vind het zelf ook heel veel, want ik heb dit eigenlijk helemaal niet verwacht.

AMIRA Ja hij heeft mij uitgenodigd voor een masterclass en daar mocht ik zingen met hem en het orkest. En het was ook heel leuk. En ik zou het graag nog een keer doen. Dus ik heel erg mijn best doen. En ik hoop gewoon. Ja ik ga gewoon niet denken aan al die mensen die om me heen zijn. Ik ga gewoon zingen en dan komt alles goed.

En heel Nederland heeft op dit moment staan te wachten tot jij hier vanavond wegeefter een akte van presence mocht geven. En kijk wat er met je gebeurd is de afgelopen maanden. En daa sta je daar als een bijna Amerikaanse kind ster. Sta je gewoon hier in Nederland in Hilversum in de studio 24. Waar jij straks denk ik de hele wereld over gaat met deze beelden weer, want dit is zo ongekend, zo mooi, zo prachtig voor een meisje van negen jaar die hier het Ave maria staat te zingen.
HOST Even zwaaien naar de family and fans, dat moet ook gebeuren.
GORDON En Amira, en Ave Miria zo in de donkere dagen voor kerst. Ik weet zeker, ik had net tranen ervan in mijn ogen en ik denkdat heel veel mensen tranen in hun hadde vanavond. Ongekend.
CHANTAL (judge) O Amira, ik was zo nerveus, dat ik zo graag wilde dat dit weer net zo goed zou zijn. En het was nog mooier dan je auditie. En dan sta je daar ... met je prachtige witte jurk en je prachtige platte witte schoenen en je rozen (met zakje bloemen voeding). En dan kan je volgens mij niet eens beseffen dat er miljoenen mensen naar jou hebbengekeken. En dat gaat weer gebeuren., inderdaad wat Gordon zegt. Je bemt echt een plaatje (beauty) en heel goed gedaan

J'ai été le plus fervant des admirateurs dès sa première audition en 2013, et j'ai été parmi les premiers Français à commander son premier album que j'ai attendu 2 mois avant de le recevoir. Le soir même, je l'ai écouté 6 ou 7 fois de suite sans jamais me lasser et toujours avec les mêmes larmes aux yeux, car ma sensibilité pour le timbre de sa voix sublime et sa façon de chanter si naturelle et gracieuse ne peut résister à un tel charme digne des plus grandes cantatrices. And also determined. She had a bad cold in the week leading up to this performance and for a while things looked bleak for her performance. But leave it to Amira to find a solution. Two days before the semi-final she sat in front of TH-cam vids and practiced for the performance by singing silently. Presumably all that was then left for practice was to maybe sing aloud once or twice right before the performance. She pulled it off splendidly.
