I purchased a little more than $4,000 worth of MO when it was $41.10/share. Purchased the occasionally share or two over the next 18 months. As of yesterday it was $55.93/share. I've made a 24.41% gain and it's paying roughly $115.00/quarter in dividends. Turned out to be a really good investment.
I absolutely love your videos. Love the fact you get right to it. Thinking of replacing my BCE with a starter in MO and add if it comes down a bit. Would love to see you do a piece on BCE just to get your opinion on it. Keep up the great work.
Great thing of buy backs. The 80% that $mo is choosing to pay-out. Can over time even be lowered to use the FCF to buy more stocks back or lower dept to make a financial stronger company, and the dividends can stil increase.
How did you get the Growth Rate for FCF of 2%? and how do you determine the Discount rate for example you used 9% but when I downloaded the spreadsheet it was already at 8%...thx
I bought MO in in early March and sold in the middle of July taking a bit more than 20 percent profit off it excluding dividends received which was nice. I intended to hold MO long term but for a declining business taking over 20 percent in such a short time was just too good to pass. I took all that cash and bought MCD which is up 15 percent and struggling too but not dying 💀
The companies have expanded into the Third World where the dangers of smoking are hardly public knowledge and they've expanded into non-smoking products.
In my opinion, this is a very good dividend yield and no... Not a sell now stock. If its hits $75--$85 sure next year then sure. Doesn't hurt. Remember this is one of the dividend kings stock that had a long history of consecutive years of dividend increase! Definitely one of the holdings that will passively pay off in the long run for my passive income for retirement!

I like altria I got in around 40$
Great video. Thanks for keeping us informed
Thanks for watching!
I'd prefere them to raise dividends more than to buy back shares.
But I also understand the strategic plan behind buybacks
altria is always #1
Invested 40k last week into MO and will re-invest all dividends - even thinking if I shall invest more now.

MO was my first dividend stock. Holds a special place in my heart 😅
Nice to see what the impact is when a company uses a buy back program! 🤓👍

Hi, was wondering what you think about Deere stock (DE)? Is it a stock you want to do an analysis on?
I'll try and cover it in the future!
Can someone explain to me why in the FCF model he uses a discount rate of 9%?
