Welcome back, Jordan! I missed your videos so much! I always went back to the old ones, quietly wishing you would upload again and this was so relaxing. Watching this in Tokyo at 5 am with a cup of coffee = a perfect way to start the day ☕✨
I had forgotten this channel:s name. This was one of my favourite channels. I panicked so hard I typed 'aesthetic diys' and kept scrolling and scrolling praying I find her channel again and I did 💖 and she's got new videos 🌊💐💗⭐
Welcome back!!!!!!!🎉❤😊 I have missed your videos and channel so much. I kept going back checking if you uploaded a new video. In a world of dark conspiracies, your channel is enlightening and inspiring:) much love from Montreal, Canada ❤
I have been replaying your videos over and over because i enjoy your content, asthetics, inspiration, creative ideas, style. So so so so glad you are back. You have been missed! Many changes, seasons, chapters in life have passed for a lot of us. Welcome back!
u don’t know how much i have missed u and your videos!!!! thankyou for this!!! welcome backkkk!!! u make me want to do journaling and art again!!!! i love itttt 🥹🫶🏻
So happy to see you back! Never thought of buying an empty watercolor palette that is a great idea! My watercolor palette is a classic one I bought years ago for art class, I added some colors I love and make mixes of mine too 😊 but I do like having the primary colors so I can refine and do the exact color I need 🙂 And the tutorial is so easy thank you!
I love your videos Jordan! Thank you for coming back to us! I don't know why you took a break, but I respect your decision to, and I'm also so happy to see you back
Jordan you smashed it with that video! 💪. I'll gonna see this again and get all the colors to create the same palette at yours it abosulty gorg. So happy you came back Jordan 💞🤍 xxx
i used to watch you so much a few years back, and you inspired me to start my own scrapbook, i still doodle flowers the way i learned from you its nice to see you upload after so long, your voice actually sounds more mature now
Interesting video I enjoyed it so much... 😊 I would love to see the flipthrough of the sketchbook you are showing here cuz' I noticed your style changed pretty much over the time you took a break from youtube and it looks stunning even from the peeks ❤❤❤ I love it. God bless you....😊😊😊
I loved watching this video! So calming and inspiring. I followed your advice about going to an art store and buying coloured pencils that inspire me. I love the colours I bought and it was around the same price as buying a generic set of 12! Great advice, thank you ❤
Thank you Jordan!! I have been watching your videos for several years..I love your videos and get so excited when you post...thank you for sharing your paints, favorite papers and your actual tutorial...beautiful work and helping my insecurity to water color paint!! Thank you, truly!! xo
You could have mixed all your favorite colors with all the basic ones in a set though 🤔 That being said, I would recommend learning more about the pigments in watercolors, this can quite enhance the quality of your mixes and it's also important for adjusting your techniques. But this is just me being a scientific artist doing botanical studies and portraits for a living. In the end, it's supposed to be fun and it's nice to see that you're having exactly that! :)
I really appreciate your nontraditional approach to watercolor! I think you might really like the van Gogh muted palette pocket box set of 12… all but three of the colors are muted, and the three colors that are not, are good for mixing or muting other colors… Wonderful video, thank you! :-)
The rhodonite genuine is quite fugitive. Try the fuchite genuine red shade. It’s a lovely muted pink and it sparkles! Love the green shade of it also. Think both would go great with your palette,
As an oil painter who works from dark to light switching to light to dark with watercolor is such a mind trip! It's probably good for me though, i should give it a go
Hello, thank you for your beautiful and informative video. I just found you today (12/10/2023). I love your color mixing and the colors in those tubes. Do the tubes not dry out by time?
This is a lovely video, Jordan! So happy to see you being a bit active on TH-cam again. 😊 May I ask, what is the song you used in the background? Thanks!
I can't believe it hadn't occured to me to take custom mixes in pans from tubes, I've made some handmade colors with pastels and things but not just custom mixes to save, wow!
Hey Jordan!! I need some advice - I have been trying water colouring recently and I have noticed that the paint dries too quickly on the paper! If I go over it again, it doesn't blend at all, but rather gives an overlay effect (doesn't look nice at all)! I use my sketchbook for watercoloring and paints from my local store! Could you please tell me what am I doing wrong? (PS- I love the timing of this video by the way, this came out just when I started to use watercolors!!) ❤
Try adding more water or if you need a bigger piece to cover use a spray bottle. Look up for techniques dry on dry, wet on dry or wet on wet... the problem night as well be that your watercolours are way too chalky so try maybe a different brand... I hope it was helpful... ;)
