I was literally thinking that a tame dog would be sick over that booter, and there you, massive tame dog over it, Casey does. Respect. Love the videos from Japan. I'm so jealous.
Casey what size board have you been riding in these videos? Probably been asked a lot sorry! Keep up the stoke cuz I’ve been overstoked for a whole month with all these banger edits!
Sounds crazy but im super light. I weigh 150lbs and am only just under 5'8. I took q 159 wide board to mt scweitzer in idaho when they just got 2 feet of fresh powder. I had my stance back barely. But it was so steep and deep i could easily ride switch for my heelside turns in the powder. As well as some minor traverses. Its not doable on a slope thats not super steep. But a good trick to learn! Riding switch just on heelside turns alone and mixing it in smoothly through my turns has been such a game changer. Still working on my switch frontside turns though. Looking epic out there holy moly
I go to Mammoth to snowboard in california. It is so hard to experience powder! Like deep powder! Every time it snows, the middle to top part of mountain are closed. The second morning after storm passed. It takes hours for mitigation control and there is huge lines at the lift for those untouched powder at the top. The line can take 1-2 hour sometime. And after 1 run everything is tracked out! :(
Tip number 1: Don’t caught an edge and cart-wheel down the hill in the powder. Edit: would love to see Casey on a Burton Doubledog 3D going 50 mph in the pow.
Dude - i love how you show the whole experience and don’t edit out all the tumbles. It’s so free of ego and full of joy - you guys rock!
Tumbles look cool tho 😅
Nahhhh you gotta see the whole thing haha

I have a stomp pad with large spikes on my pow board to scrap snow off my boots. Put it in the center of the bindings so I can get both feet easily
