Relapse is one of my favourite albums, the way his flow stuck to those beats was just mesmerizing. I listen to it all the time still, but MMLP is still my favourite.
I feel like Relapse has more emotion than Recovery, not less. At the very least, it's very different emotion. Relapse has so much intense feeling in it. It's not as obvious, but there's a lot of feeling that you can feel behind the jokes. That entire album feels like it's coming from a man with recent trauma (because it was).

Just don't let anyone diagnose you with some sort of symptom and convince you that you need to get medicated and take a pill in order to focus and be successful.
