They can be original only once,I love Mercury’s it just hurts when amazingly rare packages are removed,I always wonder if new owners join forums or run the cal tag to know exactly what they have bought because one may think ohhh this is just a radiator shroud I’ll remove it...no man that shroud was only released for one year and they aren’t being produced and are worth so much,I see guys remove light fixtures on cougars that can be easily adjusted and fixed..I’ve always appreciated the modifications but for me I say rebuild them to there true factory glory only adding what options actually came offered for that specific year,your cal tag is your cars birth certificate and will tell you everything,even a Marty report can help..they all look great though awesome that you rescued some great cars,
Definitely hear you. This is why we have multiple. We have builds that are all original floor-room clean and as well our twist on the ones we chose for.

Yo I have a 70 drop also I have a question for you about my front grill. There’s a backing plate I want to remove to get the backing plate restored but it’s studded in we can drill out but how do we get them back in after drill the studs out any suggestions?
Honestly I have no clue. I say take it to your nearest body shop they’ll definitely have a solution

Nardi is a European brand one of the top notch steering wheels. Usually rock Grant Signature Style Wheels but my pops wanted something a lil more upperclass
