absolutely! when you integrate a matrix switch for routing multiple video sources, the switch acts as a hub, and you can control all video sources from the matrix via remote control, front panel, RS-232, webGUI. If you use direct TV would you have to use 4 separate cable boxes to be able to watch 4 different games at the same time?
Hello Clint, yes, each cable box is a "Source" of video. Since they only show one program at a time, you will need four Boxes.

Hey Gumby,
Good question! If your matrix switcher is set to DHCP, simply plug into the new network and run an ip scan to find the new address. If you are using a Static IP address, you will need to change the IP address and gateway settings to match your new network. Hope this helps.
Ok so I’m confused if I have to run 8 hdmi cables to 4 displays for video wall and Matrix switching I have no more ports left to add more displays correct ?
@@internationaljacques7248 You will run 1 CABLE to each display, using the WEBGUI via IP address you assign 1-4 or 5-8 ports to be configured as a Video Wall.

I am looking at installing a matrix wall ( 4 tvs) and 2 tvs one wall and another two tvs on the opposite wall. Can this be done with your system?
Hello, are you looking to do a Video Wall with the 4 TV's? This system can support a 4-TV 2x2 Video wall while simultaneously providing independent display with other sources video. There are a few other questions we would need to discuss regarding source/display compatibility as well the distance from the equipment to the Displays.
