As a former benzo abuser, I feel every word of this. It’s many years later. We learned my unrelenting anxiety and panic attacks were due to some rare endocrine tumors. Now, I don’t use medication and I just deal with it. I do use medical marijuana. Sometimes we’re just seeking to self medicate. Perhaps if this world wasn’t so DARK and scary, we could sustain without substances. Maybe one day. ❤
My DOC was benzos. It’s a very similar feeling. No warmth or immediate high, but, once it slaps, it slaps. I know exactly the feeling, just from something else I suppose. ❤

I remember once when I got high af on weed and played this on my speakers while laying down on the bed. It actually felt like I was floating above the bed, away from all the shit that keeps my head occupied all the time. It truly felt like an escape. P.S. I'm not trying to advocate the use of marijuana. Just sharing an experience.
"Don’t want tomorrow because right now I’m golden"i felt this the night i overdosed on heroin i took 50mg up my nose and i knew if i took more there would be a good chance i died but i decided to snort 50mg more and my first thought when i woke up a day or two later in the hospital wasnt oh my god im so glad to be alive or anything like that it was why didnt it end there
@@Zigzipy nothing i instantly stopped breathing because i did it in stages i waited for 50mg to kick and i didnt feel much it was boring asf so i snorted 50mg more and literally no joke instantly fell out my chair and died for a bit

Brothers and sisters I hope when you read this use are keeping well. We all fall off the wagon but it’s important to climb back on. Short term fixes like alcohol, weed and downers are ok at times. He actually says synaesthetic; the feeling that diazepam induces where your senses work together, you smell something when you see a colour or see a vision when you hear a sound. It's my favourite part of the song too!
I used to abuse benzos HARD, and I feel all of those words so hard. It went for so long I could have so much in one go, so I don't even want to mention how much per day. And it went like that for so so long, but I was fucking golden - drugged out of my mind and out of all my feelings and then it was by far better than anything else. Ngl, I miss those days, but I did end on the moulding and rotting part, but I was somehow even okay with that back in the day. I miss it at times, but just as you said.. I’m in that situation now. 3 years of benzo abuse. I can take 300mg in one go and it will feel like the first time I took 10mg. So I bumped it up and started on Xanax bars which nearly cost me my family. I try to stick to 20mg a day of diazepam now just to feel normal. It’s nice at first but once you reach tolerance and addicted you’re fuxxed. Very hard drug to come off.
No one can deny blues give you that break from reality. Just wish it could be a permanent fix bit we know it’s not 😔 what goes up must come down I suppose
Withdrawals are HELL. Worse than heroin and lasts for months, even years. Complete mental headfuq. 3 years and I’m stuck on them. Just taking them to not withdraw
Serious question, was Ren recovering from alcohol addiction, or general anxiety? I've been prescribed this for both so just curious. Also, how do I play this on repeat?
He has Lyme disease, spent most of his life being told it was a mental problem so he spent a long time taking painkillers for the pain and not actually getting proper treatment so more and more painkillers

Struggle is still there. And in the difficult times I blast this song and dance to it to feel golden again.

Not alcohol, but Im guessing opiats since thats what diazapam is.
