    We own both the Y and 3, same configuration. The 3 drives smoother, more control, better range than our newer Y. The Y has more storage, sits higher, has more back seat room Jeannine

    Excellent! These features are often ignored and not talked about by other youtubers / reviewers. Not having to change gear, not having to press a clutch pedal, not having to apply the handbrake on a hill / slope. Having all those cameras which also double as a dash cam / sentry mode etc etc. The biggest reason for anyone to buy a Tesla right now is the FSD. It really is getting so good now that possibly in the next 12 months Tesla may have solved full autonomy. Imagine if you are in your 80s and you don't feel confident driving anymore. If you had a Tesla which could take you anywhere autonomously it would be miraculous. I'm looking forward to Tesla unveiling the robotaxi on the 8th of August this year - it could be revolutionary.

      To be fair, many of these issues are solved with a modern automatic or CVT transmission vehicle and most new cars have lots of the tech features that she mentioned. However in a Tesla, everything is just easy and seamless. The tone of her voice and body language shows that she actually enjoys driving her Tesla - the exact opposite of every other vehicle she's driven.

      Totally agree with the FSD point. I’ll be able to send my MY to pickup my elderly parents and send them to y sisters house for a visit! 🫣😆
      Robo taxi will charge the game for both elderly and disabled alike enabling greater ability and freedom for both. Unless you require a modified vehicle obvs!

    Nice to hear from your “better half”. Some great points covered. The only regret I had when buying a Tesla is that I didn’t do it sooner! I do worry about sending people to legacy auto for their EVs as they are a bit clunky and frankly rubbish. They are better off trying one of the Chinese EVs instead as they have better tech. But for me, I will only buy Tesla. My wife is the same with regards to CyberTruck 😢, but I will get one (if and when available in my Country).

    Great video and Mrs Tesla Jigsaw did a great job! I do believe that it helps people when you get the opinions of someone not fully involved in the EV or renewables as we are. Since getting my Tesla Model 3 it has continued to amaze and impress me, super easy to drive and even the basic autolpilot seems to do a lot if you let it. The sentry mode gives me a feel of being protected as it is also the dashcam! Driving is much more of a pleasure and far more relaxing.
    Also having home charging really makes this work as I can do over 200 miles from home and by that time, I need to stop and can charge my car at the same time.

    Great video guys!!!
    I would add a few more benefits to owning a Tesla, very low rate of Tesla’s getting stolen (due to smart camera system/sentry mode), great cost savings (minimal servicing needed as well as using electric cheaper than petrol if mainly charging from home), dog mode, camp mode, amazing entertainment apps (eg Netflix, Spotify, TH-cam, games), Autopilot (amazing to use on long drives, I drive to Cumbria from London 1-2 a month and the journey is so easy and relaxed have the car steer for you on the motorway). Could continue with lots more but I would lastly reiterate what you touch on which is that full self driving will be introduced in the medium term, enabling your car drive autonomously which has endless benefits. With 2nd hand Tesla’s priced at an absolute steal price now it’s an absolute no brainer of a purchase. Highly recommended and regarded.
    Keep up the great work Will! Great channel!

    Good video, I test drove about 6 electric cars recently including the 3 and Y. But Tesla’s had a few issues that put me off. Lack of indicator stalks on 2024, Suspect steering assist/braking, No HUD, no 180 rear camera and it looks like a jelly mould. Apart from those I liked them. Infotainment Screen and charging network are really good.

    • @mallamal5578
      @mallamal5578 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Steering assist is excellent and braking regen is the best there is. You do need to drive an ev differently from an ice car. If you love your family you would not go past a tesla, they are the safest cars ever tested and have safety features no other oem on the planet is capable of building. Apart from safety, teslas have the most efficient drivetrains, the best cooling technology and their software is 10 years ahead of any of the oems.

      It's actually zero time to fill an EV - 95% of my charging is at home overnight for 4p per kwh and I get 5.7mi per kwh lifetime (5.1 after accounting for charge losses) = £0.0078 per mile.
      I just plug in when I get home and go about my business, even on a roadtrip it takes less time to fill than a Camry. I do a semi-regular 1200mile round trip Sydney-Melbourne-Sydney, it's faster and cheaper in my Model 3 than previous ICE car - I stop 2 times each direction no matter what car I am in for breakfast and dinner, I just drive up to the charge point, plug in an go inside, by the time I am done eating and using the bathroom I have plenty of charge to continue, 2 x sub 30min stops every 600 miles (that I did anyway in my previous ICE car) is all it takes.
      After 1 year and 20k miles I have also spent £0 on services, £0 on brakes and tyres (which are both cheaper and last longer than my previous car) and my insurance is 20% less.
      An no a Camry is not nicer to drive than a Tesla - if you think so you're delusional, my previous car was an Audi A4 45TFSI and the Tesla is monumentally better to drive than that let alone a Camry.
