    This looks cool but the UI when the rhythm game starts is very overwhelming, and it's likely the player will not be able to pay attention to it as they'll have to focus on the main gameplay anyways. I can't really tell what half the sliders are, but maybe that just comes from experience.

      true, there are a lot on screen at once, to be fair most of the stuff you don't really have to pay attention to it to fish, it just there as extra information, the fishing tension is the only important thing to pay attention anyway which is why I also added the colored screen border so that I you don't even have to look at the slider. the next thing I'll be struggling right now is how to make a game tutorial for the player hah.

    Super cute! I'm still definitely of the opinion that there needs to be a bit more lead-in to the minigame; at the very least a metronome in the background that sets the tempo before the fish is on the line, but ideally there's an instrument or two instead to really give the player a sense of rhythm. If you implemented some sort of streak system it'd be nice if more instruments were added to the track the better the player did.

      nice suggestion, I think i'll implement a small rhythm mini game for pulling the fish during baiting and then start the hooking phase in which the actual fishing start, I don't think I can do the adding instrument stuff because it seem out of scope right now, i'll reconsider once I got the core gameplay

    looks promising👍
    some variety with the circles might help readability. I didn't really notice the inner circle seems to be an input until the second fish when those were the only notes. Personally not sure what the side bars add to the mechanics besides the one for line tension, but perhaps it makes more sense when you are playing.

    I only say morning
