CAN WE SHOOT -18 OR BETTER ON THE EASIEST COURSE EVER??

- Another round at Top O'the Hill in beautiful New Hampshire. This course has 3 different layouts and we chose to play a best shot doubles round on the shortest and easiest one. The goal was to shoot perfect or better. Could we do it?

This makes McBeast going 18 under on multiple pro courses insane to me. 😱
Jeff Smith to an extent I think it’s easier to go 18 under on a course with par 4’s and 5’s just because they’re more lenient. Still insane nonetheless
NC DOZER I think you may be right, but for these guys to be playing best shot doubles and not be able to grab it is pretty wild to me.
Marvin Gardens obviously he still has tons of work to do.
That's cause those have higher pars but Macbeth is great. I bet he would do very similar on this course. Also this is just for fun so it's not really fair to compare it to pro tournaments. Where people are actually trying they're hardest.

We need more tees like this. Everybody says grow the sport but doesn't put in short tees for the new players. Without new players, disc golf won't grow.
Most courses are set up like this. All but one in town I live has short and long tees
This course owner has bus loads of young kids that play here from time to time . The reds are perfect! NH is growing the sport my man
I guess it's weird to me to grow the sport. I usually play with one other person, and I love uncrowded courses. I'm fine if the sport grows, but have no motivation to make that happen.

Ion Ymous truly honest comment. I feel like “Grow the sport” mostly benefits disc manufacturers and professionals. There’s nothing wrong with that, but to market it as some selfless campaign for the benefit of a healthier community is bullshit. Omg I sound like my dad 😂 🪓
I just heard your interview on Running It with Nate Sexton where you say this is the video that you can't believe did well because you hate it and I had to comment that this video got me into disc golf. I was randomly recommended this video on TH-cam without ever even really knowing anything about disc golf and you guys made it look so fun and easy that I had to give it a shot. I watched like a dozen of your videos after this one, bought my starter set, and have played multiple times per week every week since. I think it's a great video.
Would have shot -18 if you had a slo-mo montage.

Simon, the vlog has you and Casey in it. Of couse it's a highlight reel. Not all disc golf videos have to be aces or eagles, you're doing good work keeping people happy and entertained in a tough time. You're amazing and keep it up :)

Just played maple gold's today, I've only been playing for 7 months now and I'm 15. The course ate me. I shot +15. I love that I came home to see that you just uploaded this.

This is my home course. It’s called Top o’ The Hill. The owner Marty is a super laid back and chill dude who is just as excited about disc golf as anyone you could ever meet. Great vibes, great place.
Simon Lizotte myself and my two sons love watching your videos, we analyze your disc golf throws, we believe you have the best attitude in competition. We met you at the 303 open and my youngest son was the one that kept randomly fist bumping you. Only one criticism-please,please, if you could consider decreasing the frequency of, "Oh my God". I do wish there more courses like this. As a very casual player (and definitely a beginner), long and/or difficult courses actually lessen my interest over time, with high scores and constant digging through forest and brush to find our discs.
I know they are friends but Simon, though he is probably better, always hates on his homie.. Prop a guy up. So many mistakes by Simon. And yes I know they both had a bunch but.... A blast to watch nonetheless. Great vid!
[Edit] And then on hole 17 Simon has a wayyyy off drive and misses the putt. Give props to your homie! McBeast is ridiculous.. 2 guys playing best shot and still not able on an easy course shows how ridiculous Paul really is! Had fun watching. Thanks for the vid!

There is another course near by as well to check out that has three courses only one is really worth playing but check out. Woods at beauty hill. Also when you're there go to funspot its a great place to relax and play some classic arcade games

Mr. Lizotte, please come down to Perry, GA to play Rozar Park. It truly is a very easy course! If I can play that course and make birdies with my terrible game, you two could ace this course with an -18 with no trouble.

A benefit of these challenges that Simon doesn't really mention is that it forces you into pressure putts even during fun casual goofy rounds. I think that's a good way to imitate a tournament putt.

There’s a course at Arthur Park in Rock Springs, Wyoming that is almost purely a putter only course, and the longest hole is only about 250 feet.

If not you should come down and experience some of our wonderful and challenging courses while playing in great weather condition. A lot of players would enjoy seeing you play here as well, cause a lot of us look up to you in out disc career. If ya do would love to join ya if make it down here. I like short courses because I want to bring out beginners to play with me and also it gives me a chance at an ace.
Got my second ever ace the other day on an 132 foot hole.

I would think shooting an 18 down on a par 3 course would be harder than on a regular course. If you par 1, then you have to ace. On a regular course, you just need to eagle a par 4 or 5, which seems a bit easier.
Should've done the par 36 at The Woods at Beauty Hill in Barnstead NH, they have a course where everything is par 2.
You guys should come up to play Devils Grove. There's 2 layouts and the fairways I bet you guys would like.
Come out to Vancouver Island and play my local course. Would be sick to see you shoot 18 under on Coal Creek Historic Park.

the chase is what counts - we always chase that illusive -18... I am on Lockdown in Charlotte NC (all of Mecklenburg County) ... but in the lockdown rules it actually states that going to a local park and playing golf is approved!!!! as long as we stay 6 feet (1.8 meters for your German mind) away from each other woo hoo!!

Play 2 rounds of 9 at Wabun Park in Minneapolis. I almost guarantee you would get at least 4 or more aces as well as the rest birdies. Nice round though guys that was awesome!

Simon if your sticking around NH for a little longer you should come throw pinnacle. I've been curious to see how a pro would approach some of the lines.
Blendon Woods Metro Park in Ohio has an 18 hole course that, using their suggested pars, I've thrown a -19 and I've never even played in a competitive match.
Simon's English is like, clearer than mine, and only rarely has even the slightest hint of an accent.

You should play Schenley Park in Pittsburgh. Honestly just as easy, if not easier.

Playing that course is probably what McBeth feels like playing normal courses.
We have a par 2 course in sacramento @ santa anita park. I think the longest hole is 150 ft. The Boy Scouts built it to teach kids how to play disc golf. It's the only place I've gotten an ace hahaha!
