So according to Bob people have to decide whether they want to be saved or not. And all this time I thought salvation was a supernatural act of God converting the soul and regenerating a person, but instead it all boils down to a simple human decision. Thanks for the “tips” Bob. 🙄
The King's Lady Me too! Salvation is of the Lord and is supernatural in nature. It is not, and cannot be based upon the will of man or human decision but upon God Who shows mercy to the undeserving. These “tips” in the video are unbiblical
@Saved sinner Due to the condition of the unsaved man (dead in trespasses and sins), the words of Jesus Christ in the immediate context of John 6:47, and the fact that faith is a gift of grace from God (see Ephesians 2:8,9 & Philippians 1:29), I would disagree with your statements. Salvation is of the Lord and not the free will choices of fallen man.
@Saved sinner I think you touched on very important point, being that our choices are in harmony with our desires. Therefore our wills are not actually free. The heart is the controlling factor in the choices we make, and unregenerate people do not choose Christ for the simple fact that they do not want Christ. You must be born again
