Old times when you create a new char and when you start in the city there would have many others players level 1 and you would level up together. When there was pvp for all levels. When it was active... You will be always on my heart PW 🤧
when there would be randoms for all kinds of players. Or you go to the west gate of archosaur and its just a pvp freak show. Or when you'd be trying to do your quest as a noob and some random jerk would pk you. Or when youd turn into a tiger and carry a chick on you.. if i start remembering all the things it'd never end. Even the splash arts. as a kid id be totally amazed by their splash arts such as the pnes for humans, barbs or elves. I strongly believe i will never again find a mmo that i'd enjoy as much as pwi. Honestly have not played any mmos for about 10 years now, which was right after i stopped playing pwi, but man i wish i at least played a little longer than that since i realize now that pwi was still in its very populated state even after the tideborn update. if only they didnt get greedy and were able to survive for as long as WoW, id download that game right away and invest in it
@@TheDragonboy91 yea me too. Pw looks so much better than wow imo. I love the original aesthetics and chinese influence. Now it looks like they totally changed the art director cuz the places, gear and skills just look like generic fantasy. I miss that chinese look

Por incrível que pareça, uma das sensações mais incríveis que já senti, do tipo: esse mundo virtual é bem real. E no lvl 30 vc se deparar com a cidade grande, a Cidade do Dragão, e vendo tantas raças diferentes da sua, pessoas indo e vindo, nas suas montarias, ou voando no céu. I'm sad to say that I have quit this game since last year. It had become too money hungry, and anything new has turned the game into an almost dead space from what I read in forums. But still the very loyal have stayed in its broken state. I played since Fall 2009 with minor life issues that had to be absent. Good times, bad times. It was still a decent game. Now its just become difficult to survive without cashing in and any sort of issue hardly gets fixed or updated. So why bother playing a game where maintenances are practically useless for not fixing stuff. Video just shows how lovely it used to be. Memories 😭

Se eu pudesse voltar no tempo e reviver algo seria essa epoca tão incrivel que foi jogar o pw pela primeira vez em 2008. Eu fiquei tão maravilhado, encantando com o grafico, jogabilidade, com as musicas,skill's, os cenarios e alguns de seus detalhes tipo a grama balançando com o vento. PW era incrivel, fiz tantos bons amigos que nos juntavamos para nos falarmos num chatpapo tipo o Discord, acho que era Raid Call, nem lembro. Era uma maravilha nos juntarmos, rirmos, gritarmos, brigarmos por lá pois as equipes precisavam estar alinhadas e escutando e respondendo aos comandos do que fazer para todas as quests, Dg, Dusk, Farm darem certo. Esse é um dos desejos simples e bobo que eu já tive, o de reviver aquela epoca tão magica nas exploração deste mundo em que havia tanto a se descobrir. Os desenvolvedores souberam acertar na qualidade de musicas que eram perfeitas para cada momento de fazer nossas quests de modo solo, e nas missoes em equipes. Que tempo perfeito foi esse principio de um jogo. E não tenho vergonha de falar de modo tão piegas, apenas esse jogo ficou marcado em meu coração.

This game used to be so enjoyable but then they went from a grind to win to a pay to win it just went downhill for me including in a lot of peoples minds sure a lot of people stick on because they put a lot of money into the game already over all this game has gone downhill sadly and I do miss the good old days and it's music sometimes as well

O que eu posso dizer... Isso me machuca, me trás boas lembranças, e o pior de tudo é que eu sei que nunca vai voltar, amigos que conheci, noites em claro jogando, eu voltava correndo da escola pra jogar e era sempre uma sensação incrível, obrigado Perfect World, foi realmente perfeito em quanto durou.
Eu ainda jogo muitos privates (mas não consigo passar tanto tempo jogando, então acabo nunca indo muito longe), mas não é mais a mesma coisa. Mas acho que se dessem um tapa nos gráficos, atrairia bastante gente!

LOVE this game sow mutch, i'm now trying not to play this game anymore - they really made a mess with the rising tide expansion and its was incredible fun 2 years agow, lvl'ing is verry slow - quest are boring ( i don't even read the stories ) and leveling your skills are verry expansive (depends on your race - but still is -.-) MISS PWI (2008-2009)
One thing i love the most in this game is that people are friendly and really helpful and u rearly find immatures, graphics own, skills too i have a lvl 61 cleric and from my experiance the cleric is one of all the races that needs alot of team help as he's a low def character, hopefully i always found someone to help me. THIS GAME OWNS!!!
Empece a jugar en el 2009 porque un amigo me lo recomendó. Tenia 12 años en aquel entonces. Recuerdo que me encanto la música, la ambientación oriental, las habilidades, las armaduras, el mundo en si... todo. Total que mi amigo dejo de jugar al poco tiempo, pero yo seguí durante meses, nunca me fui muy lejos de Plume city, era un arquero; no sabia nada de juegos mmo ni rpg en aquella época, solo me la pasaba volando y matando cosas débiles, sin hacer misiones ni nada. Pero me divertía mucho. Después el no tener a nadie con quien compartir me alejo del juego, hasta que mi mejor amigo entro (cuando salieron los earthguard), jugamos y subimos de nivel para lo que nosotros era mucho (lvl 40 aprox), creamos nuestro gremio, etc etc. Después el dejo de jugar, mi mejor amiga entro. Ella es muy hardcore en cuanto a juegos, tanto que gracias a ella por primera vez subí a nivel 100 (despues de mas de 3 años jugando el juego, lol). Todo porque nos unimos a un gran gremio en latino llamado Galleta (si alguno me lee, lee mi nombre de perfil y adivina quien soy, aunque sera muy dificil :v) del servidor dreamweaver, hicimos grandes amigos, y nos divertimos mucho. Pero después ella se dio cuenta que es un pay to win, y se fue a jugar LoL, ya que allí es tu habilidad lo que te hace bueno. Y me volví a alejar del juego. De eso ya mas de un año. Mi querido gremio Galleta ya se disolvió, y muchos de mis buenos amigos que lo jugaban ya no juegan. Es muy triste. Pero este juego roba vida es y seguirá siendo mi MMO favorito, ese que me atrapo con su música, ese que me lleno de orgullo cuando subí a mi Seeker a lvl 100, cuando conseguí la espada R8r, cuando ganaba 1vs1 contra mis amigos (Casi nunca pasaba), cuando ayudaba a gente de lvl bajo, ese al que muchas veces solo entraba para platicar, el que me acompaño casi toda mi adolescencia. Gracias, PWI, por darme tantos momentos tan bonitos que recordaré durante mucho, mucho tiempo mas c:

omg, same here man, i played for 3 years as well, was such a blast, such good memories with the guild and friends, i miss it so much, but i know that 99% of the guys i knew quited as well
this game IS awesome, and there are 3 classes human - flies at lvl 30 with flying swords untamed- flies at lvl 30 too - beasts but winged elves - get wings at level one
If you have the game, you can find this song in this file -> C:\Level Up! Games\Perfect World\element\music. This song's name (the file) is "common_e1"
it means your character doesn't have the required stats to wear the armor. You press c and you should be able to see like dexterity,strength, magic with an amount of points. Every level you receive 5 points i think, and give in those points to the required places in order to wear it. simple :)
IMO, this is the best F2P game out there. If you have a good comp, put the graphics on the highest settings and enjoy. The music completely takes you over. I will be playing this game for a loooong time.
I'd say that it's kinda both. It's the game in that all (or most) of the worlds reside on your hard drive and it's a cliant because it connects to the PW game server.

I decided to re download this since in August EVERYTHING got wiped from my laptop, and I LOVE this game, in fact, the music from th char select screen is in my head.
My First MMORPG, I played for like 3 years till I quit playing, When it bevcame Pay to win. I played 15 or more MMORPG later on but nothing comes closer to Perfect world :) I miss the times when this game had just been released, It was so much fun, No one knew how to do things and everyday was an exploration and a new adventure with Guild, Every Dungeon was an excitement and people tried different things !

1233dragon1233: Did you try putting on the sound under options while ingame? Standard settings when you first start the game are set to sound turned off. x3 And when you want to play fullscreen uncheck windowed under the options in the patcher.
I remeber back in 08 I used to play this game.. After 2 days I played it my neighbour died. The day of his funeral I turned LvL 9 it was amazing for me because I was a barbarian and could turn into a tiger to run more fast. Then at LvL 30 a friend of mine died who used to play this game. So I stopped and deleted my character. Has some great memories in this game but sadly I will never play it again
This game was really fun...at 2009. PWI was about to do quests for level up, do FB, help each other and farm your stuff by ur self. Now it's only about to Cash-shop and get your stuff as much fast as how much you have money. You can buy hyper exp stones and level 12 times faster.

One thing i love the most in this game is that people are friendly and really helpful and u rearly find immatures, graphics own, skills too i have a lvl 61 cleric and from my experiance the cleric is one of all the races that needs alot of team help as he's a low def character, hopefully i always found someone to help me. THIS GAME OWNS!!!

Empece a jugar en el 2009 porque un amigo me lo recomendó. Tenia 12 años en aquel entonces. Recuerdo que me encanto la música, la ambientación oriental, las habilidades, las armaduras, el mundo en si... todo. Total que mi amigo dejo de jugar al poco tiempo, pero yo seguí durante meses, nunca me fui muy lejos de Plume city, era un arquero; no sabia nada de juegos mmo ni rpg en aquella época, solo me la pasaba volando y matando cosas débiles, sin hacer misiones ni nada. Pero me divertía mucho. Después el no tener a nadie con quien compartir me alejo del juego, hasta que mi mejor amigo entro (cuando salieron los earthguard), jugamos y subimos de nivel para lo que nosotros era mucho (lvl 40 aprox), creamos nuestro gremio, etc etc. Después el dejo de jugar, mi mejor amiga entro. Ella es muy hardcore en cuanto a juegos, tanto que gracias a ella por primera vez subí a nivel 100 (despues de mas de 3 años jugando el juego, lol). Todo porque nos unimos a un gran gremio en latino llamado Galleta (si alguno me lee, lee mi nombre de perfil y adivina quien soy, aunque sera muy dificil :v) del servidor dreamweaver, hicimos grandes amigos, y nos divertimos mucho. Pero después ella se dio cuenta que es un pay to win, y se fue a jugar LoL, ya que allí es tu habilidad lo que te hace bueno. Y me volví a alejar del juego. De eso ya mas de un año. Mi querido gremio Galleta ya se disolvió, y muchos de mis buenos amigos que lo jugaban ya no juegan. Es muy triste. Pero este juego roba vida es y seguirá siendo mi MMO favorito, ese que me atrapo con su música, ese que me lleno de orgullo cuando subí a mi Seeker a lvl 100, cuando conseguí la espada R8r, cuando ganaba 1vs1 contra mis amigos (Casi nunca pasaba), cuando ayudaba a gente de lvl bajo, ese al que muchas veces solo entraba para platicar, el que me acompaño casi toda mi adolescencia. Gracias, PWI, por darme tantos momentos tan bonitos que recordaré durante mucho, mucho tiempo mas c:

untamed- flies at lvl 30 too - beasts
but winged elves - get wings at level one

Yup its permanent, or sometimes until you have none left to use but you can keep them for as long as you want
it means your character doesn't have the required stats to wear the armor. You press c and you should be able to see like dexterity,strength, magic with an amount of points. Every level you receive 5 points i think, and give in those points to the required places in order to wear it. simple :)
IMO, this is the best F2P game out there. If you have a good comp, put the graphics on the highest settings and enjoy. The music completely takes you over. I will be playing this game for a loooong time.

I'd say that it's kinda both. It's the game in that all (or most) of the worlds reside on your hard drive and it's a cliant because it connects to the PW game server.
reminds me a lot of memmories, when i played this game for the firsttime... in 2008 haven´t played for a long long while but i still like the peacefull music

You never know, my laptop is 6? years old, full of trojans and stuff but all I had to do was to switch quality to the lowest possible..and it works fine now.

Ah I really love this game and its art direction. I also love how people complain about choosing to spend their own money in it.
I decided to re download this since in August EVERYTHING got wiped from my laptop, and I LOVE this game, in fact, the music from th char select screen is in my head.
This looks FAR better than lots of the other online MMO crap I've seen.

My First MMORPG, I played for like 3 years till I quit playing, When it bevcame Pay to win. I played 15 or more MMORPG later on but nothing comes closer to Perfect world :)
I miss the times when this game had just been released, It was so much fun, No one knew how to do things and everyday was an exploration and a new adventure with Guild, Every Dungeon was an excitement and people tried different things !

The graphic seems to hard to handle on my laptop, any options to make the graphics look....sucky? :P
1233dragon1233: Did you try putting on the sound under options while ingame? Standard settings when you first start the game are set to sound turned off. x3
And when you want to play fullscreen uncheck windowed under the options in the patcher.
I remeber back in 08 I used to play this game.. After 2 days I played it my neighbour died. The day of his funeral I turned LvL 9 it was amazing for me because I was a barbarian and could turn into a tiger to run more fast. Then at LvL 30 a friend of mine died who used to play this game. So I stopped and deleted my character. Has some great memories in this game but sadly I will never play it again
This game was really fun...at 2009. PWI was about to do quests for level up, do FB, help each other and farm your stuff by ur self. Now it's only about to Cash-shop and get your stuff as much fast as how much you have money. You can buy hyper exp stones and level 12 times faster.
