Interesting that you've had overheating issues with the fusion pro. Mind if I ask what the rig was? I've been recommending them like crazy and wonder if maybe I shouldn't.

Thanks for the comment! So I am doing testing on a "motor dyno" to see what esc's performance is like between different outrunner escs. I had a spare 2300 pro sitting around so I did the same test on it -> th-cam.com/video/3Q1J0XZLvA4/w-d-xo.html - and the outcome was that it overheated and thermaled WAY faster than the outrigger setups. I would say the fusion 2n1 motors are fantastic for rigs under the 6 pound mark. Anything over 6 pounds and any type of abuse will overheat it. For light comp trucks they're great, but like I said metal buggies, 4ws, etc... I would personally choose something different... 🍻🍻

What tooth count is that pinion? Integy makes a 9t if you need to gear down

@@keldonator it’s the stock pinion 14t (I think).
I would definitely invest in a few smaller sizes for sure!! 🍻🍻
