Very cool. Just got an l.e.d. light for my Naked Wing and your tips help keep me from measuring once and cutting wires twice!😝

I literally bit the bullet and started my tracing my plan earlier today and this has cone through tonight. Perfect timing.
Hope you do an M unit Blue. We need more British demo's.

I've actually got my own unit in development at the moment for controlling circuits off momentary switches with a control board to handle all electrics. Works similar to m unit 😅

I'm running into a bit of trouble on my wiring. I'm not quite sure what's going on.

I have the same type of headlight. I like the yellow Ring. So I reversed the polarity... I used the ground "Green Wire" on my Position Ring Light , is it ok I just use the regular red halo ring positive to the ground?
It turns on without the ground connected.

Getting there. Some more wiring to sort out, full service, carb balance (though it's probable fine) and cleaning up the tail. Probably some more jobs I'll find along the way lol.

Thanks for making this video mate! Wiring Diagram at the 2:40 mark was very helpful! Any particular reason you didn't go w/ 7" round headlight? Also hows the lighting performance?

You're welcome mate, thank you for the comment! Glad the wiring diagrams helped out.
The particular headlight I use comes as 6.5" but honestly you don't notice the difference. The lighting on these compared to the standard build lights is a lot better in my opinion once properly adjusted. You tend to see more if having to pass through pitch black country roads over the standard lights on these.

Just want to Thank you for the info, I have been riding and working on my Scoots since 1977, in 1999 I was in involved in a Bad accident my 76 Shovelhead Mutt, after months in the hospital and and rehab I went looking for my next ride. One of my lasting effects from the accident was I couldn't remember how to go,about fixing things on my Bike, all the years of doing my own repairs and the knowledge of "How to's were gone! So when I find a good quality Video , i like to say Thank You ! From an Old Scooter Tramp
Keep,up the good videos Thank you for teaching the New "Scooter Tramps" and Thank you for reminding the old "Scooter Tramps"
Keep your knees in breeze and miles of smiles

Hey brother, great video I clicked on the link for the connectors and it looks like Amazon might have taken them down. Are there other ones you use that you would recommend?

Hi mate, it's much better than the standard. This one is the full fairing model so not sure what it's like in comparison to the N model but I've used this model of headlight on several bikes now and can't complain 😅

@@madslickmotorcycles8391 think the wire's are the same just the s model has an extra h4 and a extra side light . ive just put a halfords advance. H4 in mine but tbh its no better than standard. Was toying with the idea of projector lights as i live in the middle of nowhere and can't see sh..t on dark country roads at night
