    A funny thing is, on bugs you can lock onto invisible stalkers. Nice little bit of revenge against them.

    They took the lockon mechanic from the spear, which works "okay" for a single large rocket hitting large targets, but IMO the locking on this gun should act more like the Dead-Eye mechanic in RDR. You should be able to paint across multiple enemies, it will lock and remember that lock, and then you can unleash the full salvo striking each target once. That way, it can do crowd control against medium enemies in large armies, e.g. hitting a bunch of bezerkers and devastators in a crowd of bots.

      Yeah sure, give the small rockets also clusters that spread acid so it can kill heavy's make it so that you don't even have to aim and it just does it for you.
      Just make it the most powerfull item so everyone is happy.... like really man how easy do you want to make this thing.

    This gun (and just about all of the killzone weapons) feels like it was designed for the squids. Airburst works wonders when there's an Overseer shepherding around a swarm of voteless

      No they feel like the weapons from killzone, where your targets aren't that numerous and are mostly armored dudes. Squids are mostly just a couple of armored elites. That's why you are saying "it feels designed for squids"

    For big targets like the harvesters, bile titans, and fab walkers there should be multiple places to lock on to. Also I agree they should add the ability to switch targets when locking on

      ​@@diatomicdoyen5282 No, he's not. These are mechanics that should've already been in place when the stratagem was released. They're logical to any average gamer, and make the weapon feel pretty handicapped without them. Besides, it should hardly take any effort to add a new keybind and a few extra lock-on points to the model of each enemy. Arrowhead seems to just have a knack for not testing enough and for not giving some weapons the functions that would be intuitive for most players to expect from them.

      @mr.snow32 you can want them but don't expect them. Redoing all those weapons and such would drastically change the gameplay and would take time to implement. We are in the middle of a huge campaign with the illuminate so when I said you're asking too much I meant right now. Stop asking for stuff we don't need and let them dish out some much needed content ffs

      @@diatomicdoyen5282 As implied by the last part of my reply, yeah, I'm not holding my breath for Arrowhead to fix or improve this. I'm just saying that requests like these are valid and are to be expected of a game with a price tag of $40. I've been playing the game for about 4 months, and there hasn't been enough glitch fixes or new content to keep me happy with the game for a while now. It's great that we have a new stratagem for the first time in [too long], and I wish it were a bit stronger or fine-tuned to let us have more fun with it, but it's nice enough as-is. I can agree with you that I want them to continue prioritizing new content, but it's fair to ask that they but requests like this on the backburner and consider them eventually. They have a decent-sized team to make new things while fixing other things, I think, not just a dozen people.

      ​@@FormerBunsenBurner pretty useful for handling berserker swarms, as well as anything beneath that. Devastators get staggered and eventually destroyed by it, which is nice. Scout Striders are no match. The only problem is that you always seem to want more ammo when you use the GL. I personally have fun with it, but it's not optimal compared to Recoilless or HMG

    This weapon is numero UNO on the squid maps from difficulty 8 and up. You completely lock down the flying enemies completely with this one and i love it. I have not tried it on bugs or robots as the squids have taken up all my time but so far i love it. It does also slam down the squid walkers pretty good if you throw a gatling air strike first so thumbs up for this one.

    Ive found it to be very effective against bots. It one taps any devastator, 1-2 taps reinforced striders, and 1-2 taps gunships. The artillery mode is great for locking onto a medium unit packed inside of a large group of enemies as well, most of the time it will take out any small bots in a patrol preventing reinforcements.

      @@SilenceUnspoken Because it doesn't lock onto or track weakpoints and the missiles fly in a random direction before impacting. It does damage to big targets but those big targets are best dealt with by shooting them in their weakpoints. It has Tier 6 armor penetration on the projectiles (Anti-Tank level 2) and what seems to be Tier 3 (Medium armor) on the explosion. This is the same as the Quasar/Recoiless/EAT-17/Commando projectiles but without the ability to hit them in their weakpoints.
      An EAT-17 does 2000 damage where the projectile hits and 150 in the explosion radius, so directly hitting a Bile Titan's head (1500 health) instantly kills them. Bile Titans have 6000 health in their main pool so hitting them in the body takes 3 EAT-17s.
      The WASP does 200 damage with the projectile and 600 with the explosion. Since most of that damage is being loaded into the explosion, and you can't aim for weakpoints, you're going to be brute-forcing their healthpool down with just the projectile damage. 200 damage per shot = 30 shots or 4ish magazines assuming none hit any weakpoints by chance, fewer if you get some lucky strikes and the explosions get a chance to do some of their damage (remember, Bile Titans have a pretty hefty 50% Explosion damage resist).

    It's extremely good at dealing with medium enemies while still having the capacity to somewhat address heavy targets. The question is whether it's worth sacrificing a backpack slot when other options such as the Guard Dog can take down mediums with similar effectiveness WHILE you're multitasking on another target or task WITH equal or superior ammo efficiency.
    Notice that none of the characters in Killzone required a backpack rig to operate the Wasp. If it was a stratagem similar to the Flamethrower, HMG, or Grenade Launcher and kept your backpack slot free, it'd become a lot more prevalent just based off of the range it can engage at, and the variety of targets it can address with at least some level of effectiveness.

      @@CorwinTheOneAndOnly If by overbuff you mean it's a viable stratagem then I guess you're right. Before, it was literally not worth taking instead of the rover because of the ammo consumption. Now you trade that ammo for the ability to deal with mediums.

      @@PRC533 Guard Dog was one of the best strategems in the game before the AP3, the main thing it was missing was ammo consistency, but they added that right before they added AP3 and it was one of the best strategems in the game.
      Im a D10 botdiver btw.
      A single backpack solving literally everything that is below hulks and basically never running out of ammo is too strong. I basically just ignore non-hulk+ bots now unless i need specific ones gone for tactical reasons.

      @@CorwinTheOneAndOnly Try playing against the other factions in the game and you will quickly realize what a narrow meta you live in when you exclusively fight against bots. the guard dog is ok against bugs, but it often runs out of ammo shooting at chaff instead of bigger threats. It's not even in the conversation to be "best stratagem in the game"

    The way I see this weapon being used for the most part is as a backline synergistic weapon with a full squad. If you were to bring a marksman rifle or the new killzone sniper rifle alongside servo assisted armor and the anti-tank and HMG emplacements, you can support your team from the back they clean up chaff and complete objectives

    It's like a lower skill cap autocannon.
    I can see it being extremely effective on diff 6 and bellow bug missions. I had fun with it on diff 10 bugs, but I was not super effective and relied heavily on teammates.
    My suggestion for it is to have a multi lock feature so you can lock onto multiple Medium enemies. It would be cool if it had incendiary, gas, and flack programmable ammo.

      Honestly for me the wasp is just the "I want to kill elevated overseers as fast as possible" weapon.
      Sidenote: they really gotta fixed the terrain issues the flying enemies have, they keep clipping through shit or moving really eratically.

      Wasp required you to pair it with a sentry, preferrably rocket and autocannon to effectly kill heavies if needed. Wasp fit with the support engineer play style just fine

    I like pairing it with the AT turret against the Illuminate. I usually hang back a lot and use the wasp to clear all the overseers and the turret to take care of harvesters and ships.

    I love the wasp for its versatility, especially on bot missions. What I recommend is to bring strategems that are spammable but also do some damage against heavy targets in combination with the wasp.
    For example: I use the orbital gatling or strafing run with the wasp on bot missions. Use a strafing run on a hulk or tank and then use the wasp to finish it off. It makes deleting the heavies a lot more consistent with one mag without wasting too much wasp ammo. Strafing run is also good for general horde clearing, cannon turrets, mortar / anti-air emplacements, and fabricators. The wasp is also great at getting rid of devastators and reinforced striders quickly. I usually use orbital gatling when I also want to bring the 500kg (for heavy striders) and stagger orbital / eagle cooldowns. This combo makes for an incredibly versatile loadout.

      The two above me really ignored the actual message of the post. Use the wasp for it's strengths and use other means to fill in the gaps. You know. As a loadout intends to do.
      The wasp is flawed but people really acting like a support weapon needs to do everything smh

    The wasp has everything going against it. Backpack, stationary reload, janky locks required to fire. It also cannot hit things closer than about 20 meters from you since the missiles launch at a virtually 90 degree angle from the gun, they can't turn fast enough to hit close.

      worth noting every projectile you fire inherits your velocity. diving backwards has me hitting devastators at 10 meters (and somehow not ragdolling)

    Seems like a true Helldivers weapon. Powerful and unpredictable. lol.
    I enjoyed it on the Illuminate when it was out. It was nice just slicing through the zombies with a Sickle after picking out the overseers.

    Very underrated against bots, in a group it’s a very reliable weapon at disabling factory strider’s laser cannon, as it has a separate lock-on zone, and only requires a few missiles to destroy, hulks can be difficult unless you hit them from behind, but everything else gets eviscerated: tanks, cannon turrets, gunships, rocket striders, devastators, berserkers, absolutely shines on the bot front.

    My idea for such weapon's perfect lock-on:
    - HoldLMB to set a target DIRECTLY ON YOUR CROSSHAIR, not in an area. Target stays locked-on even when you aim away.
    - ReleaseLMB to fire. But you can point your weapon in any direction as the target is already locked. Projectiles travel forward for several meters and then curve towards the target.
    - ReleaseRMB (stop aiming) to cancel lock-on in case you need to.
    Something like this can be found in a game "WANTED: Weapons of Fate" with curved shots. Or at least it's the closest system I can think of.

    This weapon feels like an rng weapon on solo play. In teams with four wasps it’s very effective, but that’s a huge commitment for an okay support weapon.
    I agree with your take on the artillery. Down right terrible/waste of ammo.
    One thing that really kills this weapon for me is the kneel reload and backpack.
    I am a fan of it though. It’s still a very fun weapon overall.(especially on overseers🎉)

    It's amazing against bots and illuminate, I feel like bugs can more easily overwhelm you and it's better used to delete mediums at a distance. I hope they add a multi-targeting function since it's begging for one.

    I love the wasp, but I have to admit, everything the wasp is ideal for, the various MG's we have available are better in most ways for dealing with medium enemies with better or same TTK. I've been running it as a tactical launcher, to take care of things that are a 'waste' for other, higher damage launchers.

    having been an AC user for a long time, the WASP feels like a side-grade to the Autocannon, trading versatility for ease of use and ammo-efficiency.
    They both excell VS mediums, but the AC takes 2-3 hits unless you hit a weakspot but it has more ammo and can be used on whatever you want.
    meanwhile the WASP will 1-2 tap all mediums with no need for weakpoint aiming, but needs a lock and sometimes just hits a wall
    overall i really like it, it's very fun. nice to have a side-grade to the Autocannon.

      AC is just too slow and not enough mag size on Diff 9/10 imo. Wasp should be able to be more efficient for killing armored striders and devastators.

    Here’s what I personally would do to help make this weapon as good as possible:
    - Increase the number of missles to 8 (this will help with things like bot fabs and slightly faster TTK against heavier units)
    - Fix the lock on consistency and targeting, and the overall accuracy of the missiles to hit moving enemies better (same could be said for any lock on weapons tbh)
    - add an alt fire option, one that has the lock on overall to be held down with a button press, which when the camera is moved to another target, it will remember each of the last targets lock on and select the next target, and you can do this up to 8 times and when you release the trigger all 8 will fire at each enemy at the same time. And the current firing mode would be better for more single target use so that the other mode wouldn’t interfere with what you are trying to do
    - Make the distance that it’s able to hit and target an enemy closer, having to micro manage with distance with this weapon just feels annoying and I’d rather take a different support weapon at that point
    - Straighter curve similar to that of the spear’s so that it doesn’t hit as many obstacles
    - Rework artillery mode somehow, I don’t know where to start honestly but it feels pretty much useless in most cases, the obvious change would to make it the “anti tank” option but I’ll explain why I disagree below
    - and MAYBE remove the stationary reload, although I think if you were going to make this weapon more capable of anti tank capabilities, then the stationary reload would be fair
    Overall I don’t think this thing should be able to kill most heavy tank units in the game with each mag/salvo and or 1 artillery shot, that would ironically make the other anti tank weapons like the spear be the “nieche” weapon, as the only benefit that weapon would have is much higher damage, which doesn’t really matter for most tank enemy types, when if the wasp launcher was able to take out 5 tank units total, the the spear for example would be obsolete with the fact that it can only take out 4, and it’s only real advantage being it can take out tanks with slightly higher HP in one hit. It should remain a medium killer with anti tank CAPABILITY, similar to how the rail gun is. Overall I think the most important factor when rebalancing/reworking a weapon is to focus first on ease of use and reliability/consistency, this weapon has the stat numbers sure, but the main frustration people have with it is how it reliable those numbers are on enemies.
    Edit: kind of going against my word in the last paragraph now thinking about it, because the other anti tank weapons would be the go to against bases, bile titans, factory striders, etc. so maybe they should just make artillery mode be able to one shot any tanks up to charger and hulk level, so I’m unsure there, I just don’t want this weapon to be TOO good with these changes and be overly versatile to the point where why would you bring any other support weapon?

    When it comes to the artillery mode, it's GREAT when a group of enemies drop in, and have a couple mediums to lock on in the middle of em. I've wiped out whole squads in a single shot and it feels GOOD.

      I share a similar sentiment, although I do think it’s consistency and reliability need to be reworked, I don’t think it should kill heavy enemies with a breeze, but I think that I often don’t take this weapon anymore because of how inconsistent it’s targeting is, especially with faster enemies, having to micro manage my distance and make sure I’m not around any surroundings that could block my rockets as well is extremely annoying and is not necessary when compared to other medium/heavy killers like the railgun or auto cannon, weapons that do exactly what you want them to, wherever and whenever you want them to.

    Artillery mode can wipe entire patrol units in one go.
    It can drop Hulks. And the things around them.
    It can drop airships. And anything below them.
    It can one taps every bug smaller than a charger for sure. And it -can- one tap a charger from behind.
    It can kill tanks. Striders. Those tower cannons.
    The AOE is smaller than an orbital air burst- but that burst hits a larger percentage of the area it covers.

    I love this weapon against the bots and Illuminate. It depends on how you play, but I think it's a great tool for players who want to focus on more of a support role. If you play tactically, you can pair this with something like a machine gun turret and totally clear the screen of chaff and medium tier enemies, allowing your teammates to focus on other priorities like large targets or objectives. Personally, I use this with rocket sentry, gatling sentry, and shield generator. With that I can almost singlehandedly hold a position under heavy fire for enough time for my teammates to regroup and push back enemy waves.

    I think both this and the spear need some kind of functionality where you can control where the lock is. Something like the laser guide on the Commando but you can mark a spot. This would allow for more skill expression, interactivity, and most importantly lethality as you could actually properly hit weakpoints to get max value out of the weapon.

    For a possible rework of the weapon I think they should "specify" the lock on mechanic from the burst mode, so that it always locks on to the target, that is closest to the center.
    For the artillery mode they should comepletely change it to a "multiple lock on" mode where you can lock on to up to 7 different targets. For every target one missile is fired.

    If it wasn't for the backpack slot and sationary reload it would be a C tier but the way it currently works it's a low D tier for me.
    The heavy MG does the same job while being more flexible and not hogging a valuable backpack slot and being a viable option against some heavies.
    The AC is extermely similar in role but is more flexible with letting you shoot what/where you want and having an option for horde clear with FLAK rounds.

      Funny, I'd call the hmg a d tier weapon as well because of its abysmall ergo and terrible recoil. Like the mg43 just does its job better with the only caveat being it can't pen a hulks faceplate. All other medium and heavy targets can be dispatched more efficiently by virtue of the faster fire rate, lower recoil, better ergo, and signicantly larger magazine.

    I like it against overseers. I bring EATs with it for harvesters. I'd probably bring the AC for other factions if i want a backpack weapon.

    Im completely fine with this weapon being fine with only certain factions. There shouldn’t be that many one size fits all support weapons. That’s how it was in HD1, where weapons were effective based on which enemy and faction.

    I could see this being really powerful when playing in a 2-man fireteam. Have one WASP and one heavy AT. You would have 4/5 of the enemy types on lock with easy 1-2 tap TTK.
    Yes, you CAN take out medium enemies with a primary well… but a “target lock, pop-pop, and forget” with the WASP is pretty compelling.

    What if they just gave it 3 different firing modes that change how the targeting behaves? Something like this:
    1. A precision mode that only locks to one target at a time, like it does currently. Has a smaller lockon radius so that you can target a specific enemy more easily.
    2. A multi-target mode that can paint multiple enemies and attempts to split missiles evenly between them.
    3. Artillery mode paints multiple targets and allows small enemies to be painted. Instead of aiming at a specific enemy, the missile aims for the approximate center of the painted group in order to maximize the number of enemies hit.

    I've been using it for bot missions as a support weapon, mostly taking down gunships and hulks, it's pretty solid if you pair it with the Diligence Counter Sniper, since both guns work great at extreme ranges, and it does really well taking out those sniping tank turrets that like to fire from half a map away, I did notice inconsistency when a random tank took something like 3 magazines to take down, other times they blew up in as little as 3-4 rockets.

    Against the illuminate, it is incredible if you play with a group and become the designated Overseer and drone destroyer. I usually position myself in the rear of the group so that I'm targeted less and have ample time to line up shots. Its best if you dont fire while they are moving quickly as the rockets will miss consistently the faster they go. Also, against Harvesters, even when the shields are up, if you hit them from the side the rockets will hit their lower body near the leg joints and can take them out with less than a full mag fairly consistently. So if your team is waiting for commando cooldowns, you can at least help out. Basically never use artillery mode, and always fire from medium to long distances. Shooting at close targets is pretty much pointless. Ive loved the weapon and will probably continue using it

    I love the lock on mechanic although I wish that what you could do is just reduce the size of the lock on circle with a button.
    That way, if there’s a bunch of targets, you can switch between them by aiming, but then still have the larger cone for scanning the skies or easily locking onto a moving target.

    I really like this weapon. You basically trade consistent TTK against heavy units for 95% aimbot accuracy oneshot kills against medium units. Foregoing consistency for sheer firepower is very Helldivers.
    That said, more targeting options would be nice. I think the simplest solution would be variable “search” size, which could be toggled just like variable scope zoom. It would adjust the size of the big circle crosshair, allowing you to be more selective with what gets targeted, without sacrificing the ease-of-use provided by the bigger search size at longer ranges

    another big problem of artillery mode is that u may be tempted to use it when bots are been dropped, which will end badly because the dropships will get the shell and not the enemies

    takes way too much ammo to be worth even considering on bile titans, squid dropships, harvesters, pretty much the main reasons you would take a rocket launcher. like the video said its ok on things like the flying scouts or overseers but if youre taking a rocket launcher youre not taking it to deal with medium units. remember its taking up a backpack slot and support weapon slot. recoiless rifle practically out preforms this weapon in pretty much every aspect besides magazine size, but when you blow up things in one hit anyway that's not really an issue. but when the wasp uses a lock on function with no weakspot aiming potential it really needs to have some sort of upside over some of the other weapons. as it stands it preforms a subpar job at every aspect of another support weapon. you can take a grenade launcher for better efficiancy per shot on temrinids, recoil on bots to 1-2 shot everything. I'd like this to get a small buff in some way. maybe a better aoe on the artillery mode to offset the poor heavy unit damage to give people a reason to take it over things like GL or recoiless rifle. you wont be taking this to deal with spewers, you likely wont be taking this for bots to deal with bunkers or structures, you wont be taking this to deal with harvesters. at best you might take it with you on an evacutation mission for squids to deal with overseers but honestly you could just take the heavy laser as it does damage to every unit in the faction currently. takibo is right, you're pretty much not gonna see tons of value per shot on anything other than the very specific niche. and since it's taking 2 loadout slots that you could have swapped for a better support weapon and a backback. it could use some love. i want to enjoy this since i actually like lock on weapons. but it just doesnt feel up to standard to make me consider taking it over speer or recoiless rifle. even the expendable commando offers better shot value.

    Im usually very critcial in terms of ranking equipment, but this time, it just fills the gap so good. Vs squids, overseeers are not a threat and full mag into harvester is good exchange imo, there is already tons of ammo everywhere.

    I think a better secondary fire mode would be just turning the Lock On off and making the missiles dumb fire in a straight line (litteraly: if you can point the weapon at it, you can shoot it... no matter the size of the target since no lock on is needed)
    also the random spread is stupid... the flight path should arc oposite to where the target lock is in the circle (target is in the bottom half of the circle to the left it agressively arcs up to the right and comes down on the target from above in an angle, if the target is in the top half of the circle it still arcs up but less and less the more you bring the lock to the top so it strikes the target from the front/side/back)

    So … it specializes in mediums. And, it seems to be a support weapon and also takes up your backpack slot.
    So, it’s not as good as the guard dog which is just a backpack and melts through mediums.
    It’s not as good as the light machine gun which is just a support weapon and leaves your back free and melts through mediums.
    It’s also not as good as ANY of the primary weapons which also melt through mediums and don’t take up a stratagem or support or pack slot. So, the purifier, the scorcher, the crossbow, the eruptor, the dominator, the scorcher … and on and on.
    Seems like it’s ALSO not as good as something like a machine gun sentry which takes up a strategem slot … but doesnt use your support weapon or pack slot.
    So. It’s more like an alternative to the senator for mediums … but, it takes up a strategem and support weapon and pack.

    Like any new weapon in this game, it has a specific purpose and use case. Like you said, if you bring it with the intention of being a heavy AT player, you'd be very disappointed. That should be left to the RR and EATs. Sure, it can take down heavies, but it's not the RR that can confirm kill a BT or Hulk in one shot to a weak point. This weapon I feel is specifically for much higher-level missions where mediums spawn in hordes and this weapon is to thin them out. This thing can take out a whole squad of Devastators easily, even if they have shields as the missiles don't go head on and instead would come in from the top or the sides.

    Lock switching keybind suggestion : MOUSE WHEEL.
    Scroll the wheel to switch target. Each notch is 1 target. Scroll forward to target enemies further than the current target, scroll backward to target an enemy closer than the current target.

    I love the thing. I think most people just cant use it right and waste their ammo with artillery mode when artillery mode isnt meant for heavies at all and it can confuse most users.
    As with most non AT weapons you should bring dedicated AT equipment with you to make things easier against heavies but it doesnt really strugge against them either execpt for factory striders.

    Personally, I think the Burst Fire mode is perfect as is. Because if you're smart with it you'll have nothing to worry about barring the little units
    What really needs work is the Artillery mode. Like by making the blast radius larger and the projectile guidance to be laser guided instead of the lock-on, just so we can deal with the grunt hordes

    Artillery mode can actually wipe out an entire patrol of multiple Overseers w/ Voteless since Overseers that tend to stay in the middle of the pack and Wasp only locks on them. If you use burst, most of the voteless would still be alive in the patrol.

    mg43 is the best support weapon for dealing with medium enemies, hands down.
    outstanding ammo economy with correct aim, and it doesn't take up a backpack slot. medium enemies also don't exist in a vacuum, and the mg43 can just as easily mow down lighter enemies (and even heavy enemies in a pinch) when they get close.
    equip with a supply pack, and you can use it as your primary weapon and you will never run out of ammo.

    Artillery Mode is fine, if youre using it like Artillery should be used. Long range to wipe out packs of enemies. Yes I agree the AOE could be bigger but I was absolutely mopping up enemies in missions with it by using it.
    Trick to locking onto the target you want is using the outter rim of the reticle, not the dead centre. If youre dealing with multiple gunships just used the edge of it to lock on to the specific one, or, fire, move and relock after ones been shot down.
    Spear had alot of isssues initially now its amazing, la few tweaks here and there and the WASP will be amazing but for now adapting is your best option, but ive a group of friends we were all using it the last couple days and loved it, sometimes tripling non-WASP players kill count and making extraction so easy it was almost a joke.

    I'm a little confused that it kills devastators in 1 shot.
    Since explosive damage is normally AP3 and Devastator's have AP3 armor, the WASP's 600 explosion damage should be reduced to 65% (390) plus the 200 ballistic damage makes 590, well below the 750 needed to knock it out. I wonder if the explosion is actually AP4 like the Recoilless Rifle's HE shell.

    I hate how temperamental the lock on can be as it has to be at a certain size or angle to even lock on. It ignores small enemies like standard bots very annoying but when it works it works

      At first I didn't like that it didn't lock onto smaller enemies (since artillery mode is basically made for them, otherwise it's just a waste) but I'm actually glad now, because I can have it focus on bigger threats instead of trying to pick up every little enemy. Especially when dealing with small bugs or voteless. But bots I'd like it more just because sometimes you get those huge patrols of basic units and can't hit them

    It's good for illuminate but for bug it's just no, it's air bust mode for cleaning the small ones needs a big one to lock on, and it's burst mode and finish bile titan in one shot, and even if you want a slow ass reloading rocket cannon that can clear horde, just choose airburst or mg or auto cannon

    Funny thing: The burst mode provides as much AOE damage as artillery mode when using only one missile. There is literally no reason to use artillery mode when you can't lock on to light targets as you can in Killzone when using artillery mode.

    So the AMR remains king at mid/high tier enemies. Requires aiming, but extremely fast and ammo efficient. I don't see me using this when I can take an AMR and a backpack of my choice and be able to deal with every unit.

    You need to do an update AMR build especially with jump pack buffs and thermite buffs, and not to mention crossbow for crowds and fabricators/bug holes on bot and bug maps

    If the missle won't hit alpha commander in the head it's not a one shot. And after roughly 10 hours of testing I've had more rockets hit their bodies instead of heads so it often requires a follow-up shot. AC and AMR are way better for alphas. I'd say it's low S/high A on illuminate, low A on bots, and pretty bad against bugs

    it would be way better if artillery mode worked like airburst. So instead of flying up high and raining down in a small area, it flies up high, moves down into the middle of the crowd, and then activates using the same explosion as the burst fire mode.

    I tried it against the automatons and it was pretty good when paired with the 110mm rocket pods. Throw a rocket pod first and then take the bigger enemies out with the wasp 😊

    performance looks solid at its niche but for taking up a backpack slot it needs to do more

    Artillery mode should have a bigger area effect AND maybe should be able to fire without a lock on, just point at an area and fire

    We need a target designator dart pistol that lets you stick a target to any location on an enemy or terrain. Then the javelin and wasp launchers can weak spot crit without being brain dead point and click weapons.

    Yo Takibo, please make a video trying the autocannon against the Illuminate. No one is talking about how good it is - the flak rounds are great against watchers and overseers, and the AP rounds are good against harvesters

    When I tried it, it wouldn't lock on any enemies. My reticle stayed white no matter what type of bugs I was trying to target with it.

    I'd like to see this weapon switched from a Lock On to a Laser Guided weapon
