My hair grows faster in the back too but I know the reason . In the back I have looser curls , even if blow dry my hair this part would be the easiest to streach and all . So yh our hair can be a mix of curls even in the same hair strand, yep I have both curls and coils .

I needed to see this because I’m in the exact same position. Always doing protective styles, never wearing my hair. I had the sides and back of my head shaved basically bald 4 years ago. And never cut the top so the lengths are so strange now. Cant wait to see ur wash an go video because I have never had a successful wash and go either. 💕💕

im mostly likely doing this next week for my washday bc I’ve been trying to hold on to my ends bc of length too but when I twist or braid my hair up, i do feel the difference in my ends as far as texture, whether brittle or healthy & they are brittle & dry feeling & straggly so it’s definitely time to let go lol

I also had a problem when I did wash'n goes that it wouldn't be defined through out and stuff. I'm excited to see what routine your following and I really like the length you have now. Sometimes really good results and sometimes not as good results. AND after 4 years. I've been natural 5 years and I'm still learning things too
