It’s crazy to think how many hours of my life I’ve probably spent listening to you, I remember doing night shifts in my mid 20s, working 5x12 hour shifts a week and had converted ur vids to audio and listened on my mp3 player while at my station (no internet connection in the warehouse & not weren’t allowed phones). Really made what would have been a mind numbing experience productive. And now I’m a grown woman in my early 30s. Mad to think that as I’ve changed and gone through all these phases your vids are one of the things that have a remained a constant in my life. I look forward to being 50 or 80 and still listening to your videos, and thinking about the past me which is me now writing this, and all the ways me and my life have changed and improved since then.

Respected British anthropology professor, Dr. Edward Dutton, has demonstrated that “LEFTISM” is due to genetic mutations caused by poor breeding strategies.
      🤡
To put it simply, in recent decades, those persons who exhibit leftist traits such as egalitarianism, feminism, gynocentrism, socialism, multiculturalism, transvestism, homosexuality, perverse morality, and laziness, have been reproducing at rates far exceeding the previous norm, leading to an explosion of insane, narcissistic SOCIOPATHS in (mostly) Western societies.

@@mrscott01 He talks about it all the time in other videos. He did not mention it here for a specific reason. He says that our human ego minds need to think in systems but we have been corrupted by political and cultural systems. He is quite anti establishment. HERE he is trying to make spiritual people (the aim of the channel, if you look at his titles) more nuanced and less biased in their perspective. His goal is to see all perspectives so that we can remain neutral. He lists a lot of pros and cons from both sides of the political system. I’ve watched the entire video. He tends to be redundant and sometimes change an aspect of the topic but I understand his style since I’ve been listening to him for a long time. He also has said that as people on the spiritual path we need both detachment from social matters such as politics and others but to also be aware of how they work. Hope that may have helped. Oh, and do watch some of his other videos. They’ve really helped in opening my mind if you’re into that

the main reason I am compassionate, and concerned about social progress, is because all my material needs are met. If I was struggling financially, if I was jobless, homeless, penniless, I wouldn't have this luxury of high-minded social views. I would be thinking solely about my survival. I would steal if I had to, in order to feed myself and my family.

    Leo…
I grew up in a predominantly conservative white affluent area as the black passing son of immigrants. Despite the challenges this life presented I made it work and For this reason I have always been very open minded. Upon finally developing myself to the point of moving to a larger liberal metropolitan city I found the love of my life in a super liberal affluent white passing daughter of two immigrants. I thought she was the one. The next year we had an amazing relationship. It was the deepest love I have ever experienced. Eventually we began to fight after I realized that my consciousness work and openmindedness was clashing with her close minded views of progressive supremacy. She just didn’t understand. The breakup was long and painful. She ended up dating one of my younger friends which broke me. It’s been a long road healing from that trauma, despite the decent progress that I’ve made from simply being alone and not with the wrong person. But after listening to this…I can finally say that I’m fully over her and that I would not take her back if she wanted me. Throughout all of the self development, psychedelic trips, graduations, career progress, sex with newer hotter girls, nothing has been able to make me admit this truth until today(of course it’s simply a culmination and all of those things helped immensely in their own right). I am truly over this girl. I feel free. I feel lifted. This probably wasn’t your intention when releasing this video but I just needed to say thank you.

So Leo I have to give you props for attempting something like this, and for acknowledging that neither political view, Left nor Right, is flawless. Indeed, both sides have their flaws as well as their merits. Having said that, I don't feel like you're truly as unbiased as you would like to think. Case in point: 04:30.
You claim that Donald Trump and the entire MAGA movement is "racist, xenophobic, anti-immigration". Allow me to correct you on that and lay out a counter argument: we're not "anti-immigration" at all, much less racist or xenophobic. In fact, we're *pro* immigration. We believe that anyone who comes to this country in a *legal and lawful manner* should be welcomed, and in fact this behavior is to be encouraged. We do NOT, however, view unfettered, mass illegal immigration as the solution to poverty or as a viable way to solve the world's economic issues. In fact, if left unchecked, it would result in the destruction of the USA and then how would we be able to help the rest of the world?
Now, I'm sure you (and everyone else in the comments) are angrily clacking away on your keyboards about how wrong I am or how "racist" I am etc. Allow me to continue laying out my counter arguments. Illegal immigration is actually very HARMFUL not just to the US, but to the people who attempt to cross our borders illegally. Statistically, 7 out of 10 women who illegally enter the USA are RAPED at one point or another during the journey, and that's just the ones that are documented; I'm sure in reality the figure is probably closer to 8 out of 10 women. As if that weren't enough, human traffickers routinely take advantage of this movement of people to force them into slavery. Yes, you read that correctly: lots of illegal immigrants are pressed into years of servitude in exchange for "guaranteed passage" across the border. That's downright horrible in and of itself.
Then there's the fact that the US just doesn't have the infrastructure or capacity to support such massive amounts of illegal immigration. One recent newsworthy example is Martha's Vineyard. If a *SANCTUARY CITY*, which means they've pledged to allocate funding and resources for helping these people, crumbles and fails after a scant 50 immigrants and ends up in a state of emergency, how do you think border states like Texas or Arizona are faring with volumes of illegal immigrants that are hundreds or thousands of times that size coming in every single day?
Then you have to look at the fact that illegal immigrants have few rights and opportunities here even if they do make here without being sexually assaulted or forced into slavery. They can't just apply at their local Wal-Mart for a job, at least not without resorting to some sort of identity theft or forgery etc in order to bypass the federal identity verification systems. As a result, many are forced to work "under the table" wherever they can. This has been proven, many times over, to result in abuse and an overall lower wage compared to someone who comes here with a work visa and can actually demand a fair wage. This not only results in a lower standard of living, but further perpetuates the cycle of poverty and misery that they were attempting to escape from in the first place! And let's not forget that life in the US is not inexpensive by any stretch of the imagination. Even US citizens are being stressed out financially with skyrocketing inflation and housing prices, so one can't help but wonder how we can expect illegal immigrants to fare any better given their circumstances?
As if that weren't enough, the mass influx of illegal immigration is clogging up the legal system as many apply for asylum then subsequently skip out on their trials. This has the unfortunate side effect of slowing down the immigration process for people who do apply and attempt to enter our country legally. As a matter of fact, talk to someone who's entered the country legally and they'll likely tell you they're NOT in favor of illegal immigration because it feels like they (the legal immigrant) are being punished for trying to do the right thing.
My final point comes from the fact that of the many Leftists I've spoken with, the vast majority have this unfortunate perception that everywhere South of the US border is just a lawless, gang infested, crime ridden "hell hole". I myself have been to parts of South America and I can indeed confirm that there are many places that have modern amenities and conveniences like high speed internet, running water, heating, air conditioning, etc. While true that the Mexican cartels do have a lot of power and authority in many parts of Central & even South America, the vast majority simply do not live under those conditions. In fact, the vast majority that cross the border do not qualify for asylum which is why they don't show up to their trials.
So please, stop with this nonsense. Donald Trump and MAGA are a RESPONSE to the Left's failure to acknowledge and address the misinformation and lies constantly spewed by politicians and mainstream news. We're not anti-immigration, we're PRO IMMIGRATION, so long as it's legal immigration. The US asylum process is meant for people who truly meet the qualifications, and should NOT be abused by economic migrants looking for the country that will give them the best deal. Nor should it be encouraged due to how dangerous it is or how damaging economically unchecked illegal immigration can have on both nations and the immigrant themselves.
I say these things as a Puerto Rican with a lineage that can be traced back to when the Spaniards carried African slaves to the isle of Puerto Rico.

    • @ActualizedOrg
      @ActualizedOrg  ปีที่แล้ว

No one seriously claims that all Trump voters are racists, rather the point is that most racists vote for Trump, and Trump has said and done plenty of racist crap, like trying to ban all Muslim migrants, in favor of more migrants from Norway.
Also, many migrants at the board are not illegal, they submit themsleves to a lawful asylum process, yet you Trumpers love to demonize them as "illegals".

Okay, I get that you're using veganism as another example, but humans need meat to thrive and avoid modern disease. Most people don't have the biological systems in place to stay healthy off of a plant based diet for very long, 5-7 years max with maybe a few exceptions. 80% of people quit veganism and 75% of the quitters cite catastrophic health failure as the reason. If you're curious, check out Bart Kay's videos on the Randall Cycle. Our species appropriate diet is meat, mostly from large ruminate animals, with some fish and eggs thrown in.
Humans really shouldn't consume any plants or carbohydrates whatsoever unless they're at risk of starving to death, for medical purposes or maybe for a bit of flavor after most of the defense chemical toxins have been cooked out of the plants.

it happens yeah, im 100% leftist but there's an extreme and rampant lack of nuance and respect of different opinions (like the whole calling everyone a racist or an xphobic) on the left is actually not helping the situation of the party, quite the contrary, sadly.

    • @kjahorski

There is no civil discourse anymore. I remember a time where issues could be discussed rationally, intelligently, and a simple agree to disagree with a handshake could be the end of the debate. Now everyone is boxed into labels and dismissed if they are happen to fall into a disapproved of label. The left and the media have done a great job of labeling all MAGA supporters as racist, xenophobic, and just plain “crazy”. Even Leo has bought into this narrative. Sure , there are extreme individuals who possess these qualities but I would argue there are some with these qualities on the left as well. The right has demonized the words communism and socialism where no one on the left will openly admit being a communist or socialist. I agree that resorting to name calling and “cancelling” people who possess a different opinion is truly frightening and limits freedoms of speech. So a tweet from 10 years ago eliminates my views for the rest of my life ? While both parties have their extremes, if I was a conservative, “right winger”, or MAGA supporter and the left had absolute power with the ability to permanently eliminate any opposition, I would be very afraid. There just seems to be more rage and hate on the left.

In terms of immigration, there's also a very pertinent point my mum raised once about what happened when she was a nurse. She once nursed a lady who had just come out of surgery and needed more morphine for the pain, but the charge nurse wouldn't allow it and said she just needed to walk around. She couldn't walk if she tried and it would have been dangerous to. That charge nurse came from a third world country, where they didn't have accessible drugs and their practices were outdated and in some cases cruel. This is a culture clash and is an extreme example of what happens every day when two vastly different cultures collide. I'm not against people from other countries coming to live here, but there needs to be something put in place to remedy the stark differences in mentality.
There are other examples too, like men who treat women like objects because that's what their culture's like, I've seen news reports of stuff like this. It's in my opinion a big problem that's going ignored because it's too easy to throw up the 'racist' card and then everybody backs off.

I think you missed a big aspect with immigration: Immigration is considered most problematic with people who come from violent and oppresive countries which in turn often means that the immigrants themselves are from a lower spiral dynamics stage. And I know this is not true for everyone and my heart goes out to anybody higher than stage blue who lives in in the middle east or africa, but for the majority it is. All they know is violence and trauma. You can't simply expect those people to accept gender equality, homosexuality, etc. and follow the rules from a new, less oppressive authority. All they will do is challenge that authority, realizing that nothing they do has consequences and in turn will continue the way of living of the country where they have come from. This also goes in hand with the "idiot compassion" concept. So in a sense by adding those people to the country you add to the right wing side.

Conservatives may be at a lower level, but their lower level is more healthy than the unhealthy way a lot of progressives are operating in green - with cancel culture and radical ideologies that don’t solve the root problems (which often involve not adequately knowing yourself and loving yourself) which are actually creating more chaos. They need to be kind and wait for other levels to evolve not use force. Or else a reaction will occur. I think it’s wiser to be at a healthier lower level than at an unhealthy higher level. I hope we continue to move higher but in more healthy ways.
And many once progressives are joining conservatives in their fight for this reason. Logic has gone out the window and it’s hurting us all.
I’m seeing the unhealthy things the progressives are doing, and I just want to see it play out, that they learn from their mistakes, because even though so many children will be harmed and damaged, so many lives will be lost through the increased crime for lack of control of state red…. Well humanity has so learn, it’s either the easy way, or the hard way. 🤍

Okay you have literally no knowledge about the vegan diet. Eat plenty of grains and legumes, nuts, nut butter and stuff like that and you will get plenty of calories. As if you could only eat fruits and veggies as a vegan, dude it’s laughable. Veganism is also the most affordable diet out of all because it takes the least effort to produce. If you cut out the middle man (the animal that you feed with plants that you produce) and eat the plants themself it’s way more effective and therefore cheaper. You don’t have to buy crazy expensive vegan alternatives, just get some basic Whole Foods and you are good. Yeah you should take a few supplements, but they are cheap as hell.

    - Constantly accusing their political opponents of being bad faith actors and having ulterior motives (dog whistling, etc.), as well as strawmanning their POV - e.x. 'Conservatives only oppose abortion because they hate/want to punish women'
    - Pigeonholing people based on one or two character traits, and trying to turn the Oppression Olympics into a professional sport
    - Treating identity, esp. gender identity, like a religion.
    - Pointing fingers at the right and saying 'but they're worse!' when people point out their own hypocrisy and bullshit. That is not what leaders do.
    - Being too laser-focused on their racial biases, to the exclusion of many other ones

    @HamidKarzai ปีที่แล้ว +2

Leo your conception of Marxism, Communism, Socialism and their history here is very flawed, it basically amounts to what western schools teach kids about these concepts up to a high school level. Marxism is primarily a critique of Capitalism, the labor relations within it and the way it directs production and consumption in a way that is counterproductive to most people being able to live a good life at all despite living in a world of plenty. It has almost nothing to say about how society ought to work, it's strongly focused on what's wrong with Capitalism and you don't seem to be aware of what these criticisms actually are.
For example you imagine a leftist objecting to a rapist CEO and say that this leftist doesn't realize that this CEO is where he is because he produces a lot of value - a Marxist would consider that this "value" the CEO produces is itself a problem, regardless of whether he is a rapist or not, and that society would be better off with less of it actually. I don't expect you to agree with Marxist philosophy but if you're going to talk about it I do expect you to understand what it's about. You've even said that when Marxists talk about exploitation they don't understand that a corporation HAS to exploit their workers in order to survive - Marxists absolutely do understand this, they're not critiquing corporations for being evil exploiters, they are critiquing the free market system for imposing conditions that make exploitation an inescapable necessity. You cite Richard Wolff, but his Marxism is a watered down version he's engineered to try and get average Americans to question some very basic aspects of their existance - it rarely goes into the actual critique of the system of production itself, into the contradictions of Capitalism that Marx identifies. I'd encourage you to familiarize yourself with what Marx was actually concerned about.
I also notice you have a blind spot towards leftist understanding of the history Western imperialism and neocolonialism. It's easy to be critical of liberals, because liberals are fundamentally people comfortable in the status quo arguing for the preservation and expansion of their own comfort. I don't think you would have as easy a time challenging proper Socialist left wing ideology, the kind interested in liberating and empowering the imperialized/oppressed masses that make up the majority of the global population, but I would love to hear it, I know you're not one to shy away from research.
Michael Parenti's "Blackshirts and Reds" is a very basic left wing book that I'd recommend, it may not go much into the economics, but it's good as an introductory Western dissident history - the stuff Western governments don't want people knowing, the stuff they skip over teaching in high school because it's inconvenient to the powers that be.

    • @ActualizedOrg
      @ActualizedOrg  ปีที่แล้ว

The problem is that Marxism fundamentally misunderstands human psychology, development, leadership, and how business works.
Just because you can criticize a system does not mean you can invent a better one. If all Marxism did was criticize, that would be harmless enough, but the problem is that they never stop there, they actually think their ideas to replace capitalism are sound, which of course they are not. Which is why they keep failing. If Marxism was sound, it would have already replaced capitalism.

      🐟 22. ILLEGITIMATE GOVERNANCES:
SOCIALISM (and its more extreme form, communism) is intrinsically evil, because it is based on the ideology of social and economic egalitarianism, which is both a theoretical and a practical impossibility. Equality exists solely in abstract concepts such as mathematics and arguably in the sub-atomic realm. Many proponents of socialism argue that it is purely an economic system and therefore independent of any particular form of governance. However, it is inconceivable that socialism/communism could be implemented on a nationwide scale without any form of government intervention. If a relatively small number of persons wish to unite in order to form a commune or worker-cooperative, that is their prerogative, but it could never work in a country with a large population, because there will always exist entrepreneurs desirous of engaging in wealth-building enterprises. Even a musician who composes a hit tune wants his song to succeed and earn him inordinate wealth.
Socialism reduces individual citizens to utilities, who, in practice, are used to support the ruling elite, who are invariably despotic scoundrels, and very far from ideal leaders (i.e. compassionate and righteous monarchs). Those citizens who display talent in business or the arts are either oppressed, or their gifts are coercively utilized by the corrupt state. Despite purporting to be a fair and equitable system of wealth distribution, those in leadership positions seem to live a far more luxurious lifestyle than the mass of menial workers. Wealth is effectively stolen from the rich. Most destructively, virtuous and holy teachings (“dharma”, in Sanskrit) are repressed by the irreligious and ILLEGITIMATE “government”.
The argument that some form of government WELFARE programme is essential to aid those who are unable to financially-support themselves for reasons beyond their control, is fallacious. A righteous ruler (i.e. a saintly monarch) will ensure the welfare of each and every citizen by encouraging private welfare. There is no need for a king to extort money from his subjects in order to feed and clothe the impoverished. Of course, in the highly-unlikely event that civilians are unwilling to help a person in dire straits, the king would step-in to assist that person, as one would expect from a patriarch (father of his people). The head of any nation ought to be the penultimate patriarch, not a selfish buffoon.
DEMOCRACY is almost as evil, because, just as the rabble favoured the murderous Barabbas over the good King Jesus, the ignorant masses will overwhelmingly vote for the candidate which promises to fulfil their inane desires, rather than one which will enforce the law, and promote a wholesome and just society. Read Chapter 12 for the most authoritative and concise exegesis of law, morality, and ethics, currently available.
Even in the miraculous scenario where the vast majority of the population are holy and righteous citizens, it is still immoral for them to vote for a seemingly-righteous leader. This is because that leader will not be, by definition, a king. As clearly and logically explicated in the previous chapter of this Holy Scripture, MONARCHY is the only lawful form of governance. If an elected ruler is truly righteous, he will not be able to condone the fact that the citizens are paying him to perform a job (which is a working-class role), and that an inordinate amount of time, money and resources are being wasted on political campaigning. Furthermore, an actual ruler does not wimpishly pander to voters - he takes power by (divinely-mandated) force, as one would expect from the penultimate alpha-male in society (the ultimate alpha-male being a priest).
The thought of children voting for who will be their parents or teachers, would seem utterly RIDICULOUS to the average person, yet most believe that they are qualified to choose their own ruler - they are most assuredly not. Just as a typical child fails to understand that a piece of sweet, juicy, healthy, delicious fruit is more beneficial for them than a cone of pus-infested, fattening, diabetes-inducing ice-cream, so too can the uneducated proletariat not understand that they are unqualified to choose their own leader, even after it is logically explained to them (as it is in this chapter, as well as in the previous chapter). And by “uneducated”, it is simply meant that they are misguided in the realities of life and in righteous living (“dharma”, in Sanskrit), not in facts and figures or in technical training. Intelligence doesn't necessarily correlate to wisdom. No socialist or democratic government will educate its citizens sufficiently well that the citizens have the knowledge of how to usurp their rule.
To put it frankly, democracy is rule by the “lowest common denominator”.
It should be obvious that ANARCHY can never ever succeed, because even the smallest possible social unit (the nuclear family) requires a dominator. Any family will fall-apart without a strict male household head. In fact, without the husband/father, there is no family, by definition. The English noun “husband” comes from the Old Norse word “hûsbôndi”, meaning “master of the house”.
The same paradigm applies to the extended family, which depends on a strong patriarchal figure (customarily, the eldest or most senior male). Likewise with clans, tribes, villages, towns, cities, and nations or countries.
Unfortunately, there are many otherwise-intelligent persons who honestly believe that an ENTIRE country can smoothly run without a leader in place. Any sane person can easily understand that even a nuclear family is unable to function properly without a head of the house, what to speak of a populous nation. The reason for anarchists' distrust of any kind of government is due to the corrupt nature of democratic governments, and the adulteration of the monarchy in recent centuries. However, if anarchists were to understand that most all so-called “kings/queens” in recent centuries were not even close to being true monarchs, they may change their stance on that inane “system”.
Most of the problems in human society are directly or indirectly attributable to this relatively modern phenomenon (non-monarchies), since it is the government’s role and sacred DUTY to enforce the law (see Chapter 12), and non-monarchical governments are themselves unlawful.
One of the many sinister characteristics of democracy, socialism, and other evil forms of governance, is the desire for their so-called “leaders” to control, or at least influence, the private lives of every single citizen (hence the term “Nanny State”). For example, in the wicked, decadent nations in which this holy scripture was composed, The Philippine Islands and The Southland (or “Australia”, as it is known in the Latin tongue), the DEMONIC governments try, and largely succeed, in controlling the rights of parents to properly raise, discipline and punish their children according to their own morals, compulsory vaccination of infants, enforcing feminist ideology, limiting legitimate powers an employer has over his servants, subsidizing animal agriculture, persecuting religious leaders (even to imprisonment and death, believe it or not. Personally, I have been jailed thrice for executing God’s perfect and pure will), and even trying to negatively influence what people eat and wear.
Not that a government shouldn’t control what its citizens wear in public, but it should ensure that they are MODESTLY dressed, according to the guidelines outlined in Chapter 28, which is hardly the case in Australia, the Philippines, and similar nations. At least ninety-nine per cent of Filipinas, for instance, are transvestinal, despite Philippines pretending to be a religious nation.

Socialism is when the workers control the means of production. It is not when the state controls the means of production. The Soviet Union had a state controlled economy not a worker controlled economy. They masqueraded as a socialist state for propaganda reasons. Similar to how North Korea calls themselves a republic. After the fall of the Soviet Union the definition of the word socialism changed to mean state socialism as opposed to its original definition. And that's the problem with the word socialism. People use the same word to describe completely different things. And what makes it worse is that now they've also started use the word to describe social democracies. And people on the right pretty much use the word to describe anything they don't like.

Compassion is a loaded term. Warm squishy compassion vs hard truth compassion. Who are you being compassionate to??? The person in front of you or the person they could be? The conservatives I've met value tough future based compassion far more than the left. It just doesn't feel warm and squishy

Corporations generate many layers of profit, one of which is used to pay the salaries of their employees. Salaries essentially come from profit. Whatever is left after all costs and expenses are accounted for (if anything) remains for the owners to keep. Those owners -- in the case of the large, demonized corporations (the Amazons of the world) -- are often the public at large. And in the case of small businesses, it is often the case that employees get paid more than the owners do for long stretches of time and in many cases for the entire lifespan of the business.

The left can go wrong in several ways, particularly when they take progressive ideals to extremes, as discussed in political analysis and commentary. Below are some of the key points where the left is often criticised:
    1. Excessive Political Correctness: One of the most frequently cited issues is when political correctness becomes overbearing, leading to censorship or an unwillingness to engage with differing views. Some argue this stifles free speech and open debate, especially in academic and cultural spaces. A good example is when historical achievements, such as those of ancient civilisations, are undermined or dismissed due to moral judgments from modern perspectives.
    2. Demonisation of Opposition: Progressives sometimes fall into the trap of demonising all those who hold different views. This can manifest as labelling anyone not entirely aligned with their views as bigots, fascists, or racists. This approach can prevent meaningful discussions and alienate potential allies, even those on the moderate left.
    3. Disregard for Economic Realities: Some left-wing commentators have been criticised for promoting economic policies that are seen as unrealistic, such as downplaying the importance of deficits and suggesting that governments can endlessly print money without significant consequences. This has been debated within progressive circles, as it can lead to unsustainable financial practices.
    4. Overgeneralisation of Institutions: The left is sometimes criticised for broad generalisations of institutions like the police or the military. For example, while police brutality is a real issue that needs addressing, painting the entire force as corrupt or fascist can lead to a loss of balance in discourse.
These examples reflect where progressivism can go too far, leading to criticisms from both within and outside the movement.

I was thinking about this a couple months ago. I wish we had some kind of social/political simulator that was fairly accurate (of course making something like that really accurate is probably impossible due to all the variables and moving parts, similar to weather simulations) so that we could implement different types of legislation and see how that plays out.
I looked online and found democracy 4 but from what it seems like it only let's you work within already existing parameters. I want a simulator that let's you implement different governing systems, currency systems, etc. Being able to change the actual structure of the government, like going from a centralized to a decentralized government. We could see how things play out and adjust our systems accordingly. I think that would be an extremely useful tool for us.

I don't think it's a good idea to call yourself unideological or unbiased. That's yellow arrogance, or yellow hyper standards. I've been there and I got a lot of unnecessary rejection for this.
When you actually are (relatively) unbiased, you don't need to tell it to people, many will sense it, and if people don't sense it, that's ok, it just means they would believe you.
Some humility helps. It doesn't mean you have to see all people on the same level. But at least give all people the same fair standards to judge them, and play by these standards as well. Don't define your standards in a way that you are on a very high stage. Define your standards in a way that actually fits to what you think how people NEED to be. To what you think people need to be and be doing to make the world a better place. And don't only look on what's missing, look on everything that's needed. It helps a lot to humble yourself and feel less important and responsible, and it will bring you more friends.

I've long intuited that calling someone racist is counterproductive. Making people defensive and closed off doesn't help them, nor the progressive cause. Additionally, I have friends from every continent and I still laugh at racist jokes, oftentimes with them.

Great topic to be discussing given our highly progressive political landscape.
I wrote in a book that I’m working on about the problem of ascribing people the title ‘racist’. Very counterproductive to actually minimising it. I’ve observed in my own experience as a African man that using these vilifying labels are completely futile. Great to hear to touch on this.
Also the plethora of ideological movements (i.e. feminism, black Lives matter, me too and climate change) nowadays is doing little to help the causes they are trying to support. A lot of blaming and divisive hatred and group think. Not enough togetherness and discussing of realistic solutions.

      Are YOU racist? 🤔
I would appreciate if you would be PERFECTLY honest when responding to my question:
if you were walking down a street in the middle of the night, and a group of Negro men were approaching on your side of the street, while a group of Japanese guys were approaching you on the other side of the street, would you cross the road?😬
Obviously, I’m assuming that you didn’t know anything about the individuals in question - ONLY their respective race.🤓

For the record Leo, being vegan is CHEAPER than being omnivorous, and animal products around the western world are heavily subsidised by tax money and are essentially a first world luxury. Most cost analysis show black people and poorer ethnic minorities are more than twice as likely to go vegan than white people are. I totally agree that there are difficult cultural shifts and mental resistances to the movement, but as someone who has been vegan and worked in warehouses unloading shipping containers, there are no caloric or physical limitations to what a vegan diet can provide, unless you’re living in extremely cold or food scarce climates. Ironically the saturated fat in meat becomes LDL cholesterol after digestion which blocks insulin receptors, preventing them from opening the sugar gates to your cells, making it harder for you to utilise the energy of fats broken down into glucose, which can actually cause diabetes. In contrast, complex carbohydrates that break straight down into glucose can be stored as glycogen in the liver as a much cleaner fuel that provides greater economy of energy. When most people say “they can’t afford to be vegan” they’re really just pretending that changing isn’t even an option so they don’t have to consider it, and given that the movement has been increasing in popularity at an exponential rate, most sociologists predict that in just over a decade veganism will become mainstream. Again you’re spot on with the cultural hurdles and mental obstacles, but who knows, maybe the change will happen sooner than you think. I’d be happy to answer any other questions or objections you have 😊

20:14 Incorrect sir, I'll freely admit that I'm racist. We're all racist just like we're all xenophobic. Racism and xenophobia are natural byproducts of the generalizing and grouping our brains naturally do, and how we as a species has survived. We're all racist and will always be because racism is part of the human condition. Managing our racism is the real issue but we can't hope to manage it unless we admit that we, as high humans, are racist and that's OK.

A friend of mine has a new hobby - he started to make a list of all the objects - either dead or alive - which show up in his nightly dreams. He additionally classifies the objects in all sorts of features and relationships as friendly, villain, neutral, destructive and creative, colorful and monochromatic, moving fast and slow and stationary. I asked him why are you doing that? And he said that he needs to better understand his dreams. I asked why? And he said that doing that makes him the dream philosopher. I wanted to ask him if it wouldn't be better to wake up in the middle of the dream and just see all that as just a dream? That would make everything so much funnier and happier. But he did not listen up my questions and went to sleep. I hope that one day he gonna see that.

I am an Immigrant to Germany from Románia 20 Years ago.
Now Germany is flooded with Immigrants which causes problems as there are far too many.
As Germany already has and had bad reputation concerning the right position what I found wrong as long as I live here due to people being very open minded in Germany.
But I can see that a too left sight is now really destroying this country.
I realized at an early point that politics and government are not eager to provide peace and dont have in mind treating people good and kindly.
They are moneyhungry manipulators and feed of fear and unstability. That is what people have to learn.
Actually right and left work together to create Chaos, it is an Illusion that there are many Parties having different goals.
