Expert act begins! Hard part is getting 999 combo quest. Might buy this game. Gameplay looks solid but unsure how many levels there are or amount of content
Content wise I don't think there's a ton. Like you mentioned, about 5 levels with different difficulties. There's a good amount of weapons and items though, good combo experimentation. This game is also probably more about the high score chase. Gameplay is top notch though, feels really good to play, and it's pretty intense.
This will be a great game to master for keeping the combo up and challenging the leaderboards. It would have been super amazing if he still had heavy ammo or a power shot for those last three guys and didn't drop that combo there.
How is this not survival bullet hell horde? You are running around in circle while enemy keep spawning until time is reached. This is the very definition of horde survival. The fact that it has active reload or twin stick shooter doesn't mean it changes the gameplay. It's still horde survival
@@tita4359 I know what he meant and this is exactly like vampire survivor. Just because the fact that it does not autto shoot like vampire survivor doesn't suddenly make it into a new genre. It's you trying to survive a until a predetermined time is set while under the assault of endless minions. It's still the same thing. If the minion is not infinite and if you are actually going somewhere and not just moving around endlessly then it's a different game.
It’s similar but not at all the same thing as one of those horde survivors, you aren’t collecting resources for the game to constantly be throwing random upgrades at you throughout a level they are not infinite it’s you actually playing a video game needing to utilize all the mechanics working towards unlocks to enhance your charecter more Kin to an RPG. You aren’t just controlling the direction of a charecter while the game attacks and does everything else for you. Also has a devil may cry-esk comb meter ranking.

Saying that this is not a survivor game is like saying Chrono Trigger is not a JRPG because it has real time battle or saying that Mario RPG doesn't have turn base battle because it has qte during the battle. Is this game different compared to other horde survival sure it is, but it's still horde survival. Take a look at apocalypse party, it's pretty different then your normal horde survival, you actually have a set goal you need to do in a map, there's combo/kill meter, there's quest you can do, but it's still a horde survival. If you take a look at ravens watch, that's similar to horde survival but it's not.

too many mechanics at once for me, but it is fun to watch. i would need a 3rd thumb to play
It's a lot to remember, that's why I mess up quite a bit. I do better when I focus on just a few things.
Mechanics actually flow very naturally - stick on the first stage for a few hours until it's all by feel and timing
Is there more than one playable character?
It's just the one character, it's the loadouts that will define how you play though.
