@@lightenergydancing It's possible the heat setting affects it. Sorry I wish I could offer more help, but I'm not sure why it is cloudy for some people who try it.
I had this idea in my head - and you made a whole incredible video about it. This is exactly what I was looking for to add to my junk journals. Thank you for a beautiful video!
Thank you so much Stephanie, I really really enjoyed watching you create these faux wax seals. It’s really really useful and they are so cute too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
I found kind of clear sealing wax sticks that are even better than glue sticks! I used them to make amazing transparent stamps. It seems like they're from a small brand called nex&co
Really awesome it’s fall in Ohio so now pretty flowers 🌸 left for me outside, time to purchase a small bouquet 💐 and make for my stash. Thanks for sharing 🥳❣️
Hi there! Found your video because I’m wanting to include clear wax seals on my wedding invites! What glue sticks do you use that is so clear?! I love it!
What a great tutorial! I could not find the source of the clear hot glue sticks you used, please let me know as I cannot find a good crystal clear glue stick anywhere.
The one used in the video is just a hot glue stick, not wax. These are faux (fake) wax seals made out of glue instead, so they are transparent. But we added a link to colored hot glue wax in the description box, which is actually wax, not glue, but works in a hot glue gun, if that's something you would be interested in instead. Hope that helped!
I think you're supposed to have the wax seal metal stamp sitting on ice BEFORE you place it onto the melted wax - at least that is the instruction I've seen in many other posts.
I love your videos! Thank you for making them! Would you mind letting me know where to buy the transparent glue sticks? I saw that you have a link to the colored ones but not the transparent ones. I've been trying to look everywhere for the transparent ones but cannot find them anywhere. Thank you so much!
@@myporchprints-junkjournalt5340 Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to me! Was there a specific brand that you use for the glue stick? I would appreciate that. I tried a few different kinds in the past but couldn't find a transparent one.
@@twinkiebunny8450 I agree Twinkie - I have tested soo many glue sticks and they all have been "cloudy". And I have bought from Michael's, Hobby Lobby etc.. Watched to video hoping to know what the brand of glue sticks was.. oh well :(
@@twinkiebunny8450 I'm wondering if its her process? Putting the wax seal on then cooling it off quickly with an ice pack. Never seen anyone do that before and I've only seen them be cloudy as well.

My AdTech keeps turning milky white when it dries 😭

You can keep the metal seal sitting on the ice pack until you are ready to press it into the hot glue. It sets up quite quickly.
Great tips, Thank you!
They’re very pretty what do you do with them?
My hot glue (silicone) seals turn almost white, not as clear as yours, I wish they would be more translucent. :-/ Dominique
I like the idea to put into a circle. Because my wax seals are never very nice and round. Lol

Hello, I believe these are the AdTech Crystal Clear Glue Sticks from Walmart. Hope this helps!
I'm confused, are you using a glue stick or clear wax?

@myporchprints-junkjournalt5340 yes, thanks. But doesn't the glue stick to the stamper?
What hot glue gun do you use?
Was the wax seal stamp actually 1”?

They are just regular glue sticks. The kind you usually use in a glue gun. Hope that helps!

Do the flowers rot?
Hi they are preserved (dried) so they last. :)
Weirdly, my glue doesn't come out clear. Am I using the wrong glue?

@@myporchprints-junkjournalt5340 Tysm for getting back to me.
Why you call them "faux wax seal" ? This is true ones, isn't ?
It's because they're made from glue sticks, rather than actual sealing wax.
