Hello, thank you for sharing this tutorial for beginners like me. I'm new to junk journaling so I have 2 questions. 1. What do you do with the journals? Do you actually journal in them? 2. I noticed you use little clips. Are they just to hold the pages together while you do the binding? Will the paper clips stay in the journal? Thank you for your help. Sorry for the dumb questions.
Hi! The clips can be left permanently in to hold things. We also use them to hold pages while binding. Here is our blog post about how to use a junk journal: www.myporchprints.com/post/what-to-do-with-a-junk-journal
Hello, I’m a very new beginner, I watched your video and I’m having a hard time figuring out how the pages go together. Would you please explain a bit further. Which pictures did you put back in the printer for blank and lined paper.
Hello! The kit includes pages with images, and it also includes one "plain" page and one lined page. Here are the steps: 1. Print the pages from the kit. 2. Flip them over to the white side. 3. Put them back in the printer. 4. Print ONLY the blank/lined pages on the backs. So, in your printer settings choose the blank page and lined page (usually Pages 1 & 2) and print them as many times as you need until every page is printed on the front and back. 5. The kit also includes printable papers (with designs on them) that you can print on the backs of your journal pages, too. **It's up to you if you want more lined pages for writing or more patterned papers or whatever on the backs.
