Thank you for the reaction. I, too, was reminded a bit of MJ, but mostly of the dancing part, and the cinematography. Then again, TVXQ was trained by Tony Testa when they were younger (same choreographer for MJ) so the style lives on. But you're right, I do feel like his song is beyond he Kpop genre. It's on its own quality.
Thank you for the insight on Tony Testa training them; I was not aware of this. That's actually random af though they're actually somewhat connected to MJ lol
No woman.. Just his mentor... Forgot his name... He does like 3 back vocals? In this song... Is weird bc Changmin can pull everything but they still use his mentor...
Maybe he just wanted to do something together with his mentor again? Also how old is he? If Changmin is in the game for so long already, his mentor must be quiet old now right? he still sounds great!
This song heavily reminds me of Xia "Flower", Changmin's old bandmate's song. I don't say they are similar, just that dark and epic vibe shares. If you're interested, please check the song out.

He is literally amazing, I am so happy to see more people appreciate this man's vocals 😭
God, his song Chocolate is still among my all time favorites vocally for Male Soloist songs in Kpop. It's so freaking good
WOW, his last Manic, Fever and now Devil so creative, what personal challenges! love it, thanks for the review

@@cru3ltmo In fact, Yunho of TVXQ also performed in MJ Tribute Concert in 2010
Damn
Taemin vibes because as much as Tae is the idol's idol, Changmin is his idol's idol
Lmfao, I chuckled more than I should have reading your comment
this is really beyond of kpop
I love this, this is crazy.
This song is mind blowing! Love your reaction!
Beyond kpop exactly! 🔥
That kwangya reallycome out of nowhere. Seems like SM trying so hard to push their artists to fit their cinematic universe.
